After that, we had to pick up my MIL and BIL. Once again, Fritz did the gong xi again to both of them. Not longer then, we had to go to Pramuka, Ali's paternal's family. We're the first family approaching there.

So happy to see that Fritz was change and their perception about Fritz was also change. He's no longer a cranky kid but he's a caring boy who can treat a little baby very well. That baby is Ali's brother's daughter. Fritz was trying to make her smile by doing some silly face. You have to see the way he did. SO funny!! LOL

One of Fritz's tooth was decay and there's a little hole on it. For more than 2 weeks I always talked about going to dentist with him. Thanks to God it worked! He's willing to go to dentist without any drama.

Wow...unbelievable, our kiddos were having a great party ever!!

Happy Chinese New Year!!!! Welcoming the year of Water Dragon.....

It's a good year for Chinese and many people are rushing to have a baby this year, excluding me....:(

So...it's the day to meet some relatives and harvest hong pao......hehehhehhee

The day was begun by gong xi to my dearest parents. Fritz had been taught before how to gong xi to everyone. So, he started his first gong xi to Opa & Oma. Then, he got his hong pao.






Then we had to pick up my MIL & BIL. After that, we went to Pramuka to meet Ali's paternal family.
However, Fritz didn't so comfy here as he couldn't manage himself playing with his cousins. He cried and became so emotionally there. I believe all the members agree that my kid is a cranky one and couldn't behave well there.


Next place was Kemayoran, where all my paternal family members were there. Fritz was totally great here. No tears or cry at all. He enjoyed himself with his aunties, uncles and grams as he knows this place very well.

And the last one was Ali's maternal family. Ali's eldest aunty was coming to Jakarta with her hubby and son. All the members were coming and so excited welcoming her.

Her son couldn't speak Bahasa at all and I was quite happy speaking with him in English in the last minute. He loved Fritz so much since beginning but he didn't have any opportunity to speak and play with him.

Badly, there's an issue about Fritz as he's quite cranky in new environment. He's being judge as a selfish and stingy boy who loves to cry if he doesn't get what he wants. You're totally wrong, ladies. You don't ever know who he is. You seldom meet him but how can you judge him in the first impression???? It's really pissed me off!!

Hopefully this year many lucks are coming to us and to my family too. Hush..hush the bad luck!!

The year of 2011 was coming to end for less than 12 hours when we decided to go to Grand Indonesia. To kill the time to the new year eve, Ali asked us to spend the day to go to the mall. I decided to go to Grand Indonesia as it's been long time we've not been there.

We're just hanging around without buying anything there. We walked and walked from one store to other stores. Though we're not a rich people, we still have right to get excitement, right??? Going to Grand Indonesia doesn't mean we're one of the rich people. We don't need lots of money to have some fun in a rich people mall.

Fritz was so happy spending his days with me as I have a long holiday. It's almost a month. During a month, we really spend many quality times together.


We took pictures in front of the train. It's one of the restaurant in that mall. Fritz was totally excited to take pictures there. Look at his styles......gosh......

We went back to our Apartment around 5 o'clock to avoid the crowd of people around there as it's the new year eve.

We took a motor first at Popo house before we went to apartment because we're going to spend our new year eve at the mall later.


We just took an hour may be before we finally went to the mall. We wanted to meet Popo at the mall as she and Ali had BR's vouchers. Both wanna buy the ice cream. For one and other reasons, both didn't meet each other and they couldn't buy the ice cream with the vouchers.

Meanwhile, Fritz was totally excited with Alvin and the Chipmunks. He insisted to watch this movie in the cinema when he saw the pic of it. He asked me to buy the tickets for him. Luckily the tickets are cheap enough. Using the credit card I have, I could buy 1 get 1 ticket for 50,000rp.

So, we're on the cinema at 9.10 PM. After an hour, Fritz asked to get out from there. He's getting sleepy. I tried to attract his attention to the movie. Finally, we went out till the movie is finished.

Then, we moved to La Piazza. We stayed there from 11 PM. Fritz was on my shoulder sleeping tightly through the hard voices of the fireworks.

Many people were staying there and thousands people were standing around the Kelapa Gading's big round about. Every one were really totally excited with the changing year. They stared to the sky, playing with the fireworks. Many "wow" voices were coming out from their mouth when they saw the beauty of the fireworks. Great scene ever!!

All the best for this coming year. May God always bless us every single days. May this year be a year of health, happiness, wealth, wisdom, peace, prosperity, glee and glow and also the year of love and laughter.....

The next day, together with Popo and Ali's lil brother, we went to Bogor. We went around 1 o'clock in the day. Luckily, we didn't get any traffic jam.

We had a lunch in Ngohiang Bogor. Fritz ate the ngohiang by himself and he almost finished it. After that, we bought some food around. I bought Toge Goreng, Popo bought Manisan pala and she gave us 2 packs...yeeeaaaayyy!!......then we bought Pork satay for my family.


As there's nothing to do, Ali asked to go to Sentul City. So we're on the way there. We spent the rest day at Taman Budaya.

This year, we spent our time to attend 2 mass, Eve mass and children mass. We attended the Eve mass at Atmajaya University and the children mass at St.Matias Rasul near my parents neighborhood.

Fritz's got measles since Saturday. He's being quarantine during this week at home without got any permission to get out even an inch from the front door. ^^

I didn't get any idea where he got this kind of virus. That I could remember, it's when I went out with him on last Friday. I asked Fritz to ride his bike around Opa's neighborhood in the morning. On our way, we found a street sweeper. We passed that woman twice. Was it??

On Saturday, after we went home from my private tutorial classes, Oma had taken him bath. Then she asked me what's happen with his body. Lots of red patches around his body esp in his tummy, chest and back. I thought it's because he's not feeling well. I just prayed that's nothing gonna happen with him while I was in not good condition too.

We went back to our apartment that night and I still put those thing in my mind. I always hoped there's nothing bad happen....

And the next day, in the morning, I found there were few small bumps around his back of his head. It's really made me so scared and forwardly I asked one of Ali's friend, Dr Yossy and one of Ali's cousin, Dr Lisa. Both of them said it might be a symptom of measles. They asked me to go to the doctor tomorrow to check it again.

The red patches were getting a lot around his hands and legs but he's still healthy. He still played, ate and acted like usual. There's really nothing any change with him. He's still cheerful.

However, when it's time to sleep at night, his bumps in his back of his head were getting a lot. There were 2 in each back of the ear and now it's getting 5 in each back of his ear. So, without any hesitation, we went to Dr Yossy's house that night. We decided to go back to Opa's house considering Dr Yossy's house near Opa's.

I was totally scared with his condition. Ali was in a rush while driving his car and I couldn't stop praying for Fritz. I knew it's too over but it's fact. I really really scared.....

Thankfully, it's only measles but I still need to watch over his little bumps if those weren't getting small day by day.

So, during a week, he had to stay at home...means couldn't get out from the door. Of course he's complaining a lot as he's a busy body person who always wanna follow if there's someone in front of the gate.

This week, we started our new life in Gading Nias Residence near Kelapa Gading. We moved in on Sunday and it's quite hectic and busy. Packed up and cleaned up all the stuffs were made us so tired. Thankfully, Fritz was so happy to know that we're gonna stay in our small but comfy apartment. He's extremely HAPPY!!

After we had our dinner and we're such having an idle time, we decided to go to the nearest mall. As the parking lots was limited and we had to fight for looking the free space {read: it's really tightly and no space enough}, Pop decided not to use our car. So we went by 'angkot' [a common public transportation in Jakarta].


It's really the first time for Fritz going by angkot and he's so excited. ^O^ It's just took 5 minutes to get to the mall and we hang out. The problem appeared when we realized that we didn't know how to get home by angkot as it's our first time and it's night too ^o^. And thanks God, we finally found it. We had to cross the road first to get the angkot with the back route. Fiuuuuh!!!

Our days are gonna be change as we've already moved to our apartment. We're gonna spend few days, Sunday to Tuesday, there and we're gonna stay the rest of days in Opa's house. Mom still has some few classes in the day to night, so we have to separate our days like this. Hopefully, one day we could stay in our apartment when Pop has able to fulfill all our needs. ^^ *crossfingers*

So, here some activities we did for 2 days.

He loves the mirror so much and stood there for almost an hour. He made some funny faces, sang unclear songs, did some conversation with his imagination friends {I thought} and made some silly actions.

OOOh.....I almost forgot....he wore upside back cloth as he wanted to wear the white as same as Opa's shirt. -__-'"

During the day we spent together, Fritz has eaten a lot than I expected. However, he found himself was very difficult to poop....oooh noooooo!!! Less fruits and veggie I think and also less of movement as our apartment was small enough to move....^^

Overall, we really had fun and enjoyed days there......and I have to postpone my blog as we don't have any internet there.
