For 2 days, Fritz wasn't feeling well. He got vomit mostly all his meals on early Monday at 1 AM while I was in deep sleeping. I really shocked what happened with him. Half an hour after that, he was back vomiting again, twice. And there were thrice, fourth and fifth in every half an hour till he really got nothing to be vomited. I was so worried about with his condition but I really got no idea what happened to him. Fortunately, he could fall asleep after his fifth vomit. And I was so busy to check him up.

In the morning, the situation was change. He got diarrhea for twice and he lost his appetite but no vomit at all. Then I contacted Fritz's doctor, Dr Yossy as usual. She said please gave him Lacto B for 3 times today and I had to report to her then in the afternoon. He was so limp and no passion to do something.

In the afternoon, after Ali went for picking up, around 4.30 PM, Fritz got fever. I have to carried him down to buy paracetamol for him. In case he's getting worse in the night and I needed it later.

He refused to eat but very willing in drinking water. He decided to sleep after I gave him the paracetamol. He couldn't sleep tight and really needed me to accompany him besides.

He woke up at 8 PM and was really hungry. He said he wanted to eat porridge. With Ali's help, he called with his phone to the restaurant around our Apartment's areas while he's driving home as I didn't have any coins on my phone.

He really was so hungry but he refused to eat more. He just ate for few spoons and he said he was having stomachache.

I'm really feeling pity with his condition :'(

He again couldn't sleep well during the night. In the middle of the night, he said he wanted to eat again and thankfully we still had the porridge. He woke me up at 1 o'clock. Then, he woke me up again at 3 AM for pee. At 4 o'clock, he woke me up as he said he wanted to poop. After that we were busy in cooking the fried noodles' orders.

Today, the schedule was so full. Ali would pick us up around 9 o'clock to go to Manulife. There's something we've done first there. Along the morning, Fritz was getting worse. He went in and out to the bath room for poop again and again. So, I decided to meet Dr Yossy at St Mary's School at Djuanda.

She said that Fritz got Dysentery based on the symptoms he had. She wrote a receipt for Fritz. Then we went home to Kosambi with her.

I was totally blaming myself for his condition. I admitted there's few mistakes I made. For few weeks, I didn't control all of his meals. Means I didn't have any plans what we're gonna eat for the next day and I preferred not cook really much in Opa's house for one and other conditions. I was really busy with myself.

Then, on Saturday, we had our lunch in the street. We bought Gado-gado in the hawker street and had the lunch there. I used to be refused when Ali asked us to eat in the hawker street. I didn't why I asked him first to eat on the place. Fritz was amazed everyone by eating Gado-gado as children always refuse vegetables. He ate very enthusiast and asked more and more. By the time, the wind blew hardly, it's getting rain but Fritz still enjoyed his lunch. I assumed that was the beginning of his diseases.

Or maybe it's because the milk that he drank on Sunday night before he slept. The milk itself wasn't fresh anymore. It aged a week in the fridge. I think that was another issues.

Ohhhhh....terrible Mom ever I am!!! Bad Mom!!!! :'(

Happy sweet 17th months!

Same days 17th months ago, Wednesday...

This month, he really shows lots of developments.

Now, he is able to recognize some icons; Carrefour, Giant, Hypermart, Hoka Hoka Bento statues, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Bear in A&W, and few more...even I forgot to remember those....;p
He will point when he sees them along the way.

During his visit to one of hypermarket, he likes to take a thing that he had shown in the advertisement. One time, he could recognize Skippy Jam in the Alfa Midi when accompanied Poppa hunting some stuffs. Next, he took Milkuat Milk and insisted to bring them (he took 2 bottles) to the cashier and I had to pay those. Other times, he took a Pulpy Orange and again I had to pay in the cashier. In the end, he even didn't really like those things.

Most of all, he understands the orders we say to him. Some times, he wants to help me to do some chores, such as put the clothes to the laundry basket after taking a bath or throw the litter to the dust bin. Even, he ,with his awareness, threw the litter when he saw it in the floor. Nice boy, huh!

And some times, he can show his bad attitudes. Refused to take a bath in the afternoon by waving both of his hands and continuing his activities or even refused to wear his pajamas in the night because he felt so hot. He really doesn't want to wear it. If I put in, he always pulled his pants up till his thigh or pull one of his sleeve up.

He really a neat boy. No crumbs in his mouth or hands during eating time. If there is something messy in the table, he will wipe it with the tissue.

He is also a proper boy. He always reminds us to do something in proper ways.

One time, his Poppa wore his shirt untidy. He pull up half of his shirt on his belly because of the hot day. Then, Fritz pointed to his Poppa and asked him to put the shirt down and wore it properly.

Other case, we can't put off our sandals, he will asks us to put on again. If Opa takes off his eyeglasses for a moment to wipe his sweat, he will insist Opa to wear it again. He will stop grumbling if everything is done properly. That's Fritz!

He does what the elder do!

When I cook, he wants to see what I cook. When someone go with car, he wants to follow. When he wants to watch movie, he will try to turn on the DVD player by himself.

Truly copycat!

Pretend feeding his toys using spoon like I feed him.
Laughing like me with a big open mouth and cover it with hand.
Greeting when someone is going home by raising up his hands and saying "aaaaaaahhh" means "hi"

He is so close with his Opa. Likes to play along with Opa in his upper room and ask Opa to turn on his fave TV channel, Playhouse Disney and let Opa not to watch other channel. Opa is pampering him much.

He is also close with his Poppa. During teaching time, Poppa is taking care of him. Play along or doing afternoon walk with him. See a dog in the church or just see some oxes in the back side of our residential complex. Bathing him and feeding him. What a nice moment between dad and son!

He is babbling much nowadays. The clear words are "go-go", "oop" for stop, "baa" for peek a boo. That's all.

He loves appraisal. He shows it by showing his two thumbs as good sign.

Other bad attitudes are he doesn't want to share his belongings but he wants to take the others. He also doesn't want to play along with the younger and prefer playing with the elder. Next job of me to maintain these attitudes in his social life.

He's getting bigger and bigger now. He can drink UHT milk, the chocolate flavor ones. He also consumes vitamin everyday to complete his nutritious. He's taller. All of his clothes are getting tightly and also with his pants. I really need to buy the new ones.

My boy is really growing up now. I really can't wait to see him jumping, running, talking and screaming.

16th months are not a short time for me and not a long time too. We have passed 16th months together, me and Fritz and including Ali (though he doesn't pass 24/7 with Fritz).

So many days with all of ups and downs we passes and that's make me strong and stronger everyday.

In this his 16th months age, he doesn't show any crucial improvement. All of his development is as same as last month with a few improvement only.

That I am just wondering, he becomes a trully copycat-er for us. What we do, what we say and what we act are so easy for him to be copied.

Last night, when we had attended one of my girlfriends' wed, I have to clean all the make up in my face. I went to the bathroom to wash my face when he was crying along. He couldn't wait for a moment coz he has sleepy much. When Ali asked him to go to bathroom, he stopped his crying and looked seriously my activity. Then, we entered the room and suddenly Fritz rubbed all his face as I did in bathroom! *shake my head again and smile*

This month, I still do my breastfeeding and he does it many times in the night while he is sleeping. It's because he doesn't eat lots in the day. Why? Because of many teeth are going to appear. And for this week, he got flu again...-_-'

Here are some his abilities in this month:

- He starts to walk steadily. He slowly doesn't raise his two hands up anymore while he is walking. He's also able to stand up easily using his both little legs without falling down anymore. His walking is improving in a month. Every day, he practices his walking by going here and there, going to Uncle's room, bathroom, bedroom, Opa's room, to the kitchen and playing with the things around there. So I don't need to guide him again...Yay....I'm free now, I just let him exploring all the things around him. If he felt down, I always say to stand up again and that's ok...I really can't wait to see him running!!

- His vocabularies are also improving this month. Though he's not yet producing some clear words, I still teach him everyday with new words.
Here the lists:
* butterfly ( he still keeps on trying to make a butterfly symbol by using his hand as I did to him)
* chicken ( he does it like a duck. He's also recognizing the picture of chicken in the Pecel Lele's hawkers in the street he passed, then he showed to me the movement of duck)
* frog ( then he looks at the big froggy's bank in the top of the big cupboard in home)
* cow ( he can recognize any kind of cows wherever he sees)
* airplane ( he knows finally the things in the sky that can fly like a bird)
* turtle, rabbit and bird ( he is still learning on this vocab)
* horse (knows the pictures and like to ride a horse toy)

- play pretending things such as driving a car, a motorcycle and riding a horse with the bolster

- able to kick the ball

- prefer hip hop song to sentimental songs. He can cry when hearing those songs....really cry with falling down tears. So sad!

- when he wakes up and there is a remote control on the bed, he will get it and turn the TV on. Ohhh gosh, he copies what I did!!

- The other things:
* raise your hands...then he raise his hands and I'm going to tickle his armpit. He will do it more and more raising his hands without I'm asking...hahahhaa
* peace sign by showing two fingers...I taught him when we did mirroring and took a picture. He's trying to do it more and more...so funny...
* shocking...by putting his palm on the chest.
* powdering..get any kind of bottle and put in her belly and spread it like powdering...he's totally copying from me.

- he prefer to play the things around to his toys. He likes transferring the small red beans from one bowl to other bowl by using spoon.

- I teach him how to pray now and recognize his Jesus Christ. Then, I'm trying to sing some religious songs that he had heard on Sunday School.

I really can't memorize what he did one by one, but for me, he's a big boy now. He starts to copy all the things he sees. Then I really must be careful with what we do, what he see and what we say...and the most of all, he is a brilliant boy for me...

He turns to 14th months today...He isn't a small baby anymore, he turns to be a big baby now though he's not quite as big as the others...

In his 14th month, he shows some developing.

He is able to walk in 19th May by himself unpredictably. Then he still needs more practice to walk without any help. Recently, he shows his eagerness in walking. He likes to ask me to accompany him walking. It's one of his process in walking.

His memory span is getting wider. He easily memorizes new things in his brain. With a little stimulate, he is able to recall it again from his brain. For example, when he saw a butterfly on one place in the morning, then in the noon he saw another shape of butterfly in the other place. He is able to recognize it by pointing at the pictures...He is able to recognize various style of one object.

In eating, he prefers to eat as what I eat in the same plate and same spoon. He always refused if I gave his meal on his own plate and using his spoon. He loves to eat krupuk a lot. Then, he starts to grab his own food by his little hand and put it on his mouth. His appetite is up and down. For some moment, he is able to finish his meal then the next day, he refused to eat his meal and just wanna eat his biscuit.

He loves to copy paste what we did in front of him. He also is easy to be taught with a new thing. So many things he is able to copy paste from we did...

Here some lists that he does this month:
* put his little finger in front of his nose, the sign of smelly
* do step one by one as a dancing style
* type something in his used keyboard as we are in front of the computer
* ask us to turn on the DVD player as he sees me to do that
* he knows the rules when he wants to go outside by getting his shoes then put on and take off then put it again in the shelves
* wash his hand, give some soap then rub his hands on the water, after that wipe it on the towel
* he knows some routines such as when someone is going out, he says bye2 by waving his hands and give a kiss bye by put his hands on his mouth like a kiss from far
* he also knows the routines of taking a bath, by giving me a soap bottle and a scrub towel to me then he standing up and ask me to rub his all body.
* he loves to go to others room, to his uncle and Opa's room, asking them to play with

He is a calm boy. He is totally different from the other boys who like to go around here and there. He can sit down nicely on his chair and look around the room, watching what the other things happen. He is a sweet boy with his handsome boy. He is able to give his hand to shake hand with a new person with his lovely smile. He is really a charm and cute boy that I have.

Hopefully next month, he is able to walk steadily and can pronounce words with clear voice. The others target he should achieve..

A year ago...he was a baby that couldn't do anything...just crying and crying all days...without do any activities...

Now, he's turning ONE and lots of things he can do..

- He can eat what the adults eat..no porridge anymore..

- He still drinks breast milk and starts drinking UHT milk in his new age

- He can stand up by himself now

- Walking is on progress. He can walk so fast when he sees cat, dog or lizard...and other things he want to see...

- He still loves reading books and now he can open the book by himself pages by pages...cool!!

- He understands simple order, such as
1. washing hands...he rubs his two hands like washing his hands
2. bye-bye..he waves his hands, looks like shaking to waving actually
3. no-no...he waves his pointer to the left and right
4. good..he shows us his thumb
5. kiss-bye...he will put his hand on his mouth
6. kiss momma...he put his lips on my cheek and wet absolutely...:)
7. aaaah (to show whether there is food on his mouth or not)..he will open his mouth and show it to me there's still food on his mouth
8. belly..he will find his belly by opening his shirt...looks so funny...
9. where is Fritz? he will put his palm on his chest to show that he is Fritz

- He can follow the song's movement, such as Miss Polly had a Dolly (he will knock the wood), Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (he will open and close his palms together), If You Happy (he will clap his hands), Teasing Mr. Shark (moves his hands like fish), BINGO (clap his hands when singing the BINGO's rhyme) and other songs...Momma's forget! ;P

- He shows good socialization with elder. He can join playing with them altogether...

- He can sleep by himself when he feels sleepy..not for at home...he can sleep on his carseat by himself during Mom's driving the car

-The most is he loves talking and produces voices. He can express what he wants now using his voices...and I can't wait to see him talking...

Fritz is getting smart days by days...and he grows so fast...

- He can sit down by himself on 26th January. *yay*

- His appetite was going up and down this month. Few weeks ago, he refused to eat his meal. It's because of his 2 coming teeth and he got flu at the same time. He just loved to eat bread. Then after that, he is getting better. He can finish his meal than I thought. On the other side, he likes to taste our food. If we eat in front of him, sometimes we give him a little to taste it.

- He can recognize some animals, such as dog, cat and lizard. When we ask where the lizard is, he is straight up his head and looking for it. Then, when he sees the lizard, he will tell us that he shows it by pointing his finger though it is a little bit far from his place. With dog and cat, he likes to see both of these animals in the street. He isn't afraid with a big dog. He snaps his finger pretending he calls it.

- Now he has 8 teeth total.

- Since he has accompanied me to my work field, he shows lots improvement. He can crawl on the floor. He learn to socialize with the elders, and it's very helpful for me. He isn't afraid with the strangers and easily to socialize with others now.

- He got his second flu in his 10th month old. It took almost two weeks and ended with medicine. *sigh*

- With a little help, he can stand up by himself.

- Then, he starts walking with our guidance. Now, he likes going up the stairs.

- Music lover. He always moves his body when he hears the (common hear) songs.

- His new hobby: tilted his head, shook his head to the left and right with his funny mimic, throw his body to the back in the bed, put his hands on the air, sit like a Japanese, tickling our belly.

- New ability...drinking with straw on Sunday 21st February, during our visit to one of my friend who had delivery the baby (Alice and Agus - Jovann Dominique Ezekiel)...so happy!!!!

In his 11th month old, his brain is already connected with the order given. He knows where the common things took place, where someone is be, what we ask for him (for this case, when we ask him to pull out his feet if he doesn't sit well)

Fritz is getting smart and learning a lot from his environment. Next month will be his 1st year birthday. I can't wait to teach lots of things to him......

In his 10th months old, he really shows lots of progress especially his gross motor skills.

Here there are:
- understand how to touch his own head when we ask to do it. I realized it on 2nd January during his meal time in the day. When we went to visit Lona, he can show it in front of Vidor's whole family. How proud we are! ;p

- able to click his tongue...as like calling the doggy or cat

- move his hands like a traditional dancing...usually we called "na-ning-kung-ni-nang-ning-kung" then he moves his hands.

- able to clap his hands starting on 13th January...uuuhhh....I'm so happy with it....;)
and he will clap his hands when he's hearing a birthday song

- able to stand still for a few moment in front of a thing.

- able to sit down and can balance his body to not fall back though sometimes he falls back if he is tired or bored.

- prefer play to take a nap. He just takes a nap half to an hour only. Now he likes to play outside rather than inside the room. He enjoys playing with the whole of family now.

-Opa's big fans! whatever Opa's doing, he always pays lots attention to him...ck..ck...how he's walking with the stick and wiping the face with the towel. He adores the Opa's stick, the Opa's eyeglasses, the Opa's shoes, the Opa's chair...and the last the Opa's glasses and he successfully broke it down in one afternoon when my maid put it in like usual in the wooden small chair ...*sigh*

- more talkative and produces lots of vocab..."atatatata","acacacaca","ananananana","amamama","papah","nggaakk","mbaaaaaa"

- scream with funny mimic..."aaaaaaaahhhhh"

- bad separation anxiety! even for a moment...such as when I just got to pee, got to cook for him and simple things to do...arrrggghhhhh....

- still advertisement addict...and his fave's ads are increasing every day.

- learn to walk with hands' help and already buy moon walker to help him later

- eat many kinds of sinful food...such as bread (the most fave's one), rice, cake

- start crawling on the bed and still needs practice in the mat...ciayoooo!!

- prefer pen to toys...haaa....what a good boy!!

- he will be such a nice and sweet boy with someone else, he will give his best smile and be a calm boy with the foreigner...but at home...he is what he is....

Yay.....Fritz is 9th months now....and so many things happens this month

Here they are:
- loves to watch advertisements and he can stop his all activities when he just only heard the sound of his faves advertisements
- looses his appetite so much this month and the worst is happened a week before his 9th months
- learns to eat on his high chair and say bye-bye to his old chair
- explores all the things he has seen...everywhere...everything....
- is cranky and pamper so much....need lots attention and stay beside him along day
- is crazy on Opa's stick and get the opportunity to touch and hold it finally....like the precious gold!
- shakes his head often and it looks funny when he did it
- can give his hands when he wants to be carried...ant the most is when he didn't want to eat and produce lots of cry and need to be carried...*sigh*
- more nap & less meals, vice versa
- likes to (the real) sit on his pram during windows shopping in the mall
- is more active to roll here and there in the bed and sometimes he has bumped his head into the wall
- plays with his hands still be his fave ones and fingers are the most
- learns to sit and stand up with help
- plays with water in the tub
- produces more voices and says "papa"
- loves to smile this months and looks so cute and more handsome.....ooooohhhh......

2. attending a friend of Oma's Javanese Wedding Party....and we thought we worn the wrong dress code which mostly they worn batiks....;p
3. meeting college's friends of Mom at Taman Anggrek's Food court
4. gathering in great grandmother's house at Kemayoran to celebrate X'mas

- produces sounds with high tones (hears like screaming and shouting)
- loves Barney to Baby Einstein (Barney fulls of songs)
- loves to see the pictures in a book and listen the story
- enjoy singing songs with Mom
- when playing hide and seek, is able to find the voice's source and where we're hiding (he put his head down or up looking for us)
- has gorgeous eyes to scan every single things (curious to know something and explore something new)
- moves actively from back to stomach and vice versa, also able to push his but up (wishing he's able to sit by himself in a month)
- can open his palm when we say "bye-bye"
- can tap his hand on the flat surface
- can joins his little fingers into praying style
- can hold his two feet and play with them
- is getting thinner
- moody in eating his meals
- has a schedule of life now....hihihihi...

Moments:
1. Going to Grand Indonesia (29th September) and taking lots of photos...one of it is published on Mother&Baby Magazine October edition...the saddest is Mom's camera was broken completely because of felt down. Now, waiting for the new one.

2. Black out @ home....happened 5 times (I think) and we've been to somewhere with air cond inside...hot...hot.....mostly we went to the mall

3. Visiting Mom's (ex) work place @ Apple Tree Preschool Sunter (2nd October)...everybody loves Fritz....made Mom feeling blue, remembering the time past....

4. Uncle Don's coming to Jakarta (11th October)...and seeing Rafael again...we met at Taman Anggrek for a moment.

5. Receiving the photos album from Rikari....nice pictures and Fritz is going to have it again on December with others' photgrapher. We can't upload in Facebook, one person will be jealous...hix..hix....

6. 1st Wedding Party (Uncle Jule & Aunty Bea on 24th October)....and totally messed up...crying because of the loud sound. He never heard someone using a microphone. He felt headache, I think....

His development this month:

- can sleep by himself after taking bath
- can grab the things near him tightly
- puts his pointer inside his mouth...loves to do it so much
- puts all the things that he grabs inside his mouth too
- yawning soundly...looks like me...hehhehehe
- loves to smile when we call his name or only eyes to eyes with him
- always laughing with Dad...especially before sleeping time in the night

- able to find the voices' source when we call his name
- scans everything he sees when he goes out to the new places
- acts difference when he is outside
- likes to scratch his head, scratch someone's near him, push his little feet to others
- likes to produce sounds and sometimes he shouts out....hah...so loud!!

- copies and pastes the things we did in front of him easily and quickly. In this case, he saw his Dad's fingers snapping then few days after he tried to snap his finger...wow...how fast he absorbs the things...smart boy!!
- starts to sleep with long period in the night and needs lots of space to sleep for him...so, Dad, you should sleep separate from us, ok??
- napping time, still needs Mom to sleep beside. If not, he just slept a moment
- his tummy can be tickled now...and loves to play peek a boo.

Moments:

- babtism (30th August)...in St.Matias Rasul church, with Guardian Father Mr.Antonio Andi Juzwar...using white shirt and pants, he was baptized at 10 o'clock in the morning...all the cheers came to give spirit....
- two his first new front teeth (1st week of Sept)...made him cranky for few week but no fever...thanks God!
- solid foods (18th Sept)...going smoothly and perfect. He was able to finish his first meal with more than 10 little spoon. His menu was Gasol brown rice flour.
- swimming time (19th Sept)...with Dad, Aunties and Uncles...scared with the cold water when Dad put him inside the water. After few minutes he started to enjoy it though still didn't want to move his hands and feet....can't hardly wait for next session...when?? just wait the posts!
- first mass in the church (20th Sept)..with Dad, Mom and Oma...he just stayed calm only 20 minutes, the rest of time, he spent outside to get the breeze of the wind...it's hot inside, Mom!
- musical toys and play mats (22nd Sept)...to enrich his brain with music and sound and also to make him able to get back soon from his flapping....

Flap Over
The most exciting thing happened in this month that Fritz was able to do his first flap by himself in the day without mommy knew it. He did on Monday, 10th August, in his 4,5 months.

Napping Time
In the beginning of the week, he really was difficult to sleep in the day. He liked to play and just sleep for a while, only took 15 minutes with mommy beside. Then, days by days, his napping time becomes routines. Now his schedule is
* after taking a bath in the morning, around 9 o'clock, takes half till 1 hour
* after mommy having lunch time, around 12 o'clock, takes 1 till 1,5 hours
* around 2.30 or 3 o'clock, takes 2 till 3 hours

Gross Motor Skill
~Hand~
He shows lots of improvement in this part. He starts to grasp everything in his nearby. He touches our faces, feeling our skin on his little palms. He is also able to reach his own toys and his favorites things; towel and rosary. He likes to play with his own hands if there is nothings around him. The most is he puts his pointer into his mouth...gud job, Fritz!!

~Feet~
His both foot are so active, kicking or pulling his bed cover and also everything around him. He like to play with his feet when he is drinking milk. His feet are going up and down or pulling and pushing. If he feels happy, his feet will be soooooo active going everywhere...up & down, forward & backward,left & right...everywhere...

~Head~
Now, his head is more stronger to stand up. After sleeping time, his favorite style now is lying his face downwards and he does it by himself unconsciously, he always stands up his head and looks for his mommy around. He is also able to be hugged in front and back. He loves it so much!!

~Eyes~
In every new things, he always can't stop to scan with his small little eyes and especially in the new environment. He stares it deeply, seems like he puts all those things in his brain. he learns a lot with is eyes.

~Mouth~
He shows his interest in eating. His mouth seems like chewing something if we are eating in front of him. Really couldn't wait his eating time 2 weeks again...

Personality
When we ask him to go outside from his home, we don't find any difficulty. He is quite a quiet little boy who likes to see a new thing and scan it in his brain. He always smiles to everyone who likes to greet him. Prince Charming!!

Mirroring
He likes to see his face in the mirror and always smiles to see himself there. Another his charm sides...wuahhhhaaaa....

X-pression
More expressions that he shows in this month. Anger and laugh. He always appreciates everyone by showing his smile when they talk to him. So sweet and charm boy!

Diapers Time
I start to reduce his diaper time by taking off for a moment after he wakes up in the morning and sometimes during the day though I should change it for 10 times (after taking a bath, 9 o'clock till before taking a bath again in the afternoon)..gosh!!!
Recently, if he takes a nap and he finds out his pants is wet, he can't sleep anymore. Soooo...i put on his diaper again and take it off 2-3 hours before taking a bath in the afternoon.
Night time is diaper time...

Poop
2 - 4 times a day.
Maybe he starts to make his body lighter to improve his other skills
