Toddler : Year End Holiday

Toddler : Year End Holiday

Yaaaay!!!!

We are really enjoying the year end holiday. We didn't do much at home and we spent the days by going out, to the malls and out from the city.

Gramedia, Grand Indonesia

They held 30% discount for all the things. We didn't want to miss it! We went there and tried to get some books. The place was so chaos, the books were everywhere. We couldn't walk without stepping the books. The most was in the children books' area.

I got 4 Barney's books, a Cars book, a bilingual Animals Tales Collection book, 2 Barney's movie and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse's movie.
Pluit Village
Oma wanted to buy some new clothes, we went to Matahari. Fritz got an orange T-shirt.

After that, Fritz was feeling so hungry and he said "mamam" for many times to show that he was so starving.

Finally he got his fried noodle at Mr.Baso restaurant. Looks so amazing that he can show his will now!

When we went home, the wind blew very hard and the r
ain was pouring so heavily after that. What a bad weather it was!

Bogor
We spent one day at Bogor.

We went in the morning to Sentul to find a medical place for Opa at Puncar Mt. It was a rocky road which took more than one hour and more than 30km to reach that place. When we arrived, Opa really couldn't step down.

Actually, for normal people, who can walk steadily, it is a nice place to visit as it is a natural hot water place. We can play with the hot water in the pool that they have made it. It's really like in Ciater, Bandung.

After that, we went forward to Bogor city. We did culinary trip. We had ngohiang for lunch, then we bought asinan, roti unyil and es durian. After that we went to Tajur to see bag factory, SKI. I bought a purple Kipling bag for carrying Fritz's things, cost 130.000 rupiah
.

It's was so tired trip as we were spending lots of time in the car. However, we really had so much fun!

New Year's Eve

After few years, we always spent the eve with friends or relatives's places, this year we have to feel happy spending the eve only at home with Oma, Opa and Uncle.

Fritz was helping to cut some strawberries

with his new T-shirt from Popo

Going to Opa Greg's house

In the last holiday, we spent a day at Opa Greg's house in Citra 5. Together with ii Ling2 and Om Tito, we had lots of chit chat with Pork Siomay in the hands while Fritz and Opa was taking nap together in the separated room.

In the afternoon, the couple took us to a restaurant to have some meals. We had Mie Sop Ayam, e-mie and nasi perang.

2. Paste the log on the bottom of the tree.
3. Decorate the tree using the shiny paper.
4. Done!

*Making Santa Claus*

How to do:
1. Cut the white cardboard into a circle shape for the face
2. Cut the red cardboard into a triangle shape for the Santa's face
3. Paste the red hat in front of the face using double tape

FYI, he DIDN'T put all the cottons by himself....hehehehehhe
Coloring
*X'mas Tree*
After decorating the X'mas tree, I gave a X'mas tree coloring pages. I got it from the internet and I totally couldn't remember where I found the picture.

He colored it with black. Using two hands. After that he preferred coloring the back to the pic itself. -_-'

*Santa Claus*

Continue the X'mas week...

I prepared a Santa Claus coloring page...

He is able now to recognize Mr Claus!

*Jingle Bells*

Another coloring pages, Jingle Bells!

After finished with Santa, he continued with this...though he couldn't able to finish it nicely...

Art : Marble Painting
Prepare:
- 2 marbles
- 2 paints
- a paper
- a tray

How to do:
1. Put the paper inside the tray
2. Dip a marble into the paint. I chose red first
3. Put the marble in the tray and shake-shake-shake
4. Get another marble then dip it
5. Do the same way
6. Let it dry

*Actually I want to make a candy cane or something related with X'mas. But I don't have time to cut it and post it here. So I just put marble painting as the title.

Miscellaneous
*Decorating X'mas Tree*
It's a nice moment when the Christmas month is coming...
As he is getting bigger now, I put this plan in the first list.

Actually he wasn't help me anything. He just got busy playing with the ornaments...^0^
But I really loved the moment....

And this is the result!!
*Lets poison Santa*
He found a Chinese herbal medicine in his medicine box.

Before we gave it when he was a baby. So we didn't use it anymore.

When he found it, he gave it to Santa. Pretend that Santa was sick and needed some medicine to cure it. He gave it more...more and more....

Looks like he wanted to poison Mr Claus than cure him! ^0^

*X'mas Cake*

A relative made this cake for Fritz...and he wasn't able to control himself to not to see and eat it at that time..

He asked and asked for many times to open 'please' the box and let him to eat it. ^^

In the morning, when he woke up...again...he asked Oma to cut it....and ready to eat it.

In the end, he just ate for few spoon only. He didn't like it much....:P

I really wanna say lots of thanks to her who gave us this cake....

Happy B'day, Lona

Happy B'day, Lona

I still remembered when we visited Vidor's house to see his little baby born a day before X'mas a year ago.

This little baby turned into 1 year this year. She looks like lots with her Dad.

On X'mas day, we were being invited by his wife, Tia, to celebrate Lona's b'day.

Though it's quite so far from ours, took almost 50 km, we were so glad that their family were so charm greeting us.

We just took few hour only coz Fritz has cranky already with the situation. A 2 year girl took his toy in his hand and he cried so loud for more than one time.

Absolutely I didn't like his attitude. He really needs to learn lots of sharing things with others.

Learning Toys
*Out of the box*

Friday afternoon...the weather was really unfriendly...I've got an idea when I saw a box in the living room...

I opened the box and let Fritz crawling inside it. He was so happy finding a new toy. He crawled again and again till he got bored and asked Pop to crawl inside it....so funny seeing Pop couldn't get out of it!!

Miscellaneous
*At the front door*
One day in the afternoon, he took a pencil and paper. He brought it and sat down at the front door of the house where he could see some passer by.

He took quite some time staying there. He drew something in his paper, just let him explore his imagination. When I came nearby, I saw some little sprinkles here and there in his paper. Looks so cute those!!

*Drinking a plain milk*
So happy when he wanted to drink a plain milk when we went to a retail mart one day!

*Watching TV with Opa*

Fritz adores Opa very much. He really loves Opa. He really cares with Opa.

When Opa wants to get up from his bed, Fritz gives his hands for helping him.

When Opa eats carelessly, Fritz reminds him to wipe it up...

That day, both of them were staying in the bed watching Fritz's fave movie, Mickey Mouse.

*Eating Veggie*

For some time, he likes to eat the crunchy veggie...by himself!

*Watching TV with style*

Another his style when watching his fave movie, Cars. With a little jar of cookies, he laid down in the bed and put nicely the cookies inside his mouth. What a beautiful day!

Fun Time
We took some pictures at Pop's school when we was attending Aunt Detta's wedding at Chapel Canisius. Pop is dreamt for putting Fritz in that school one day. Unluckily, Fritz waved his hand to show his refusal...^^

We also took some pictures of the wedding..
