2nd Bald....

2nd Bald....

Fantastic!!

This was the second time he has a bald hair since his born.

He even asked us to bring him to the barber. Then that day, he went with Opa, Oma and Uncle to somewhere and they stopped by in barber place when they're going home.

Uncle held him and let the barber cutting all his hair. He just sat without any movement. He also didn't cry at all, maybe a little bit afraid hearing the machine sound.

When I arrived home from work, he proudly showed me his new bald head with a big grin.

What a brave boy!!

Lessons from 3 different families

Lessons from 3 different families
One time, I had met some families with different stories of life. I learnt a lot from them.

First family was my ex preschool students' parents. I adore Mommy so much. She has 2 children, a big sister and little brother. The way she raises them makes me amazed. Without nanny, she can handle all the chores and her children in one time. She's my inspiration as a full time mom.

She's not only smart but she's so kind and nice. Her husband was a great person. He worked for one station TV in Jakarta. He's also a humble person.

Though they are very rich, they never show it off to everyone. They are so nice to everyone. The way they talk, the way they act and the way they go with their life are absolutely far from showing off their richness. They really show a down to earth life.

Mommy gave Fritz lots of toys. We seemed to be like just visiting Santa Claus in May. We went home with a big package of toys for Fritz and it's free.

I think it's too exaggerated but I really missed her so much...so when I saw her seemed that I found a diamond. Maybe for her, I wasn't a very her best friend. For me, she's my best friend. She really a best people I've ever met on my life.

I loveeee their family so much. Really my inspiration!! ( I always forgot to take a pic with her and her children when we met =__=)

Then, the second family was Poppa's best friends family. He has a solid big family. He's also a successful man who has a great woman beside.

His big solid family really makes me so envy with him. His parents have successfully taught all their children lots of positive life skills. They always welcome to everyone. When we meet them, they always hug us friendly.

The most important one, all of his big family never showed their underestimate face to us as we aren't in the same level with them.

I love their family-ship....and how friendly they are to everyone.

Really a successful family!

The third one was my aunty and her little family. She shared some her life stories to us, how many ups and downs things happened to them. How they survived with all those problem and solved out. All of her stories were ended with miracles from God. She thought she never couldn't get out from all their problems but in the end, God made the way for them. It's really a big miracle!

I got a lesson from her that how many problems appear in our life, just surrender to God and believe that He will make a way for us. How miracle it is just believe that He's always there for us.

Pre-Nursery : Ee - Eggs

Pre-Nursery : Ee - Eggs
Fritz is currently 25 months 2 weeks

Alphabet : Ee

Vocabularies : Food
Pictures : Food
He LOVES this cards. He knows the names mostly. He also played with these pretending he was eating with spoon and fork, drinking tea and eating some food from there.

This week, he did the role play too by spooning his Opa a soup whether the soup was hot, warm and spicy. He showed some expression while playing it. If the soup was too hot, he would blow it and he's gonna say "it's warm already, Opa" Then suddenly he accidentally spoiled the soup in his spoon.^^

Activities
*Dough*
I made it for him. With his little fingers, he pressed the dough and made sound of letter E

*Paste E objects*
He learned new words, envelope and Earth, as he knows well the rest of those.

*Circle E*

Surprisingly, he wanted to circle the letter E. He made it one by one without any help from me. He did it very well. ^^

*Coloring E objects*
He started to color on the object, though it's still difficult to ask him to color inside the picture. It's a nice progress of him. In that worksheet, he loved the pic of the broken egg. However, he just couldn't able to recognize the envelope.

*Coloring Eggs*
He's drawing the letter E objects, eggs. He started to recognize the letter E as the name of Oma and Momma....

*Matching Eggs*
For this part, he still got confusing. He needed me to guide him to recognize which was the same one.

Tracing
*Eggs*
He's familiar with the first eggs picture. He even colored it when I gave this worksheet to him.

*Letter E*
I showed him a Mickey's pencil and he was so excited. He hurriedly sat on his chair and tried his best to trace the letter E when I gave him this worksheet to him. The first one, I helped him to trace it by asking him to make a line from one egg to other egg. It's quite nice. Then, I asked him to do by himself. The result didn't look as nicely before.

Shape : Eggs Cards
His shape's recognizing is getting well. He knows some shape such as; star, diamond, moon, oval, heart, triangle. \^0^/

Color : Eggs Cards
He didn't show any enthusiast when I asked him to color these cards. He just colored the orange one and the rest was me. =__="

So far he can recognize some colors such as; yellow, red and black.

Workbook
*Tracing straight lines*
Practicing his straight down line as making number 1. He still wasn't able to make it nice and also refused to make it.. -___-"

Learning Toys
*Jungle puzzle*
He asked me to get this puzzle to play. He enjoyed his time by playing it alone. Then, he showed me some animals and able to mention it. He showed me the elephant, zebra, hippo and giraffe.

*Dough*

What a nice day, spending my time till afternoon with Fritz, but the weather wasn't friendly. It's a very hot hot hot day. When I took this pic, the sky was getting gray but it wasn't raining till the next day....=___="

He asked me to sit in the front door and got a dough in hand. We made a Mickey's head, a car and OSO letter. He looked so happy!!

Practical Life : Zipping
Wow...I was so amazed with his progress in zipping. He's able to zip and unzip the cell phone's pocket. It's a little bit hard actually considering the zipper is quite small and there are 3 on it. However, he did it again and again for many times! Zipped...Unzipped....Zipped....Unzipped...^^

Reading : When I Get Sick
I borrowed this book from my work place to help my private student, Laoshi, to practice her pronunciation in English.

Fritz looked at this book and asked me to read for him. He read this book many times. He loves the story about a boy who got sick and his mom was taking care of him.

Mom was very patient and kind. She gave him a medicine, made a pudding, chicken soup, fish porridge, chocolate cake, tea and tickled him too. In the end, Mom was feeling tired and falling asleep. In the next day, the boy was healthy and he brought his mom a breakfast; a sandwich and a milk, to her room.

Miscellaneous
*Eating fried rice*
He didn't want to eat it when I fed him. He chosed to feed himself. He asked me to put his seat and he ate his fried rice by himself with a mug and a tissue near him.

*Playing with Poppa*
Enjoying his night time with Pop....playing with the bolster. He went round and round and did the counting whether in English or Bahasa. Then, he bumped his body to the bolster and fell down. He was laughing happily.

*Playing with Camera*
Taking a picture by himself is a big HIT for him recently. He grabbed my camera and tried to take some pictures of us {Opa, Oma and Mom}. All the pictures were blur whether it's because of his little finger on the lens or he took the pic then he moved the camera few second after that. It's too quick. He has to pause for a while after taking the pic. He still didn't get the concept. That's fine, he just need practicing! ^^

11:19 PM

Sleeping by himself....

Sleeping by himself....
Saturday night, before sleeping time.....like usually....he always asks some food to gobble before getting sleep. Time 10 PM

He was eating corn flakes. Then we had a short conversation. The conversation was about his promising not to breastfeed again that night and he agreed.

(in Bahasa)
M : Fritz...malem ini bobonya ga usa pake nenen ya....
F : *masi asik makan corn flake*
M : Yang bole nenen kan cuma bebi. Emang Fritz masi bebi?
F : Ga...Fritz...bebi...bukan...
M : Jadi masi bole nenen ga?
F : Ga...
M : Jadi tar bobonya ga usa nenen ya?
F : *pura2 ga denger*
M : Jadi tar bobonya ga usa nenen yaaaa?? Oke?? (diulang lagi biar dpt kepastian)
F : Oke...
M : Bener? Oke?
F : Oke

And after that conversation, we went in the bed. Few minutes after we laid, Fritz came to me..

F : Ma...nee....*stopped* #I thought he remembered his promise.
M : Eits...tadi kan uda janji ga mau nenen. Nenen kan cuma buat bebi.
F : Gendong aja, maaa...

So we got down again and I carried him for few minutes before he asked me again to lay him in the bed.

He laid in the bed then....playing with his hands as he's washing his hands in the sink....digging his nose using his pointers....staying awake without doing anything *bengong*.....

I pretended sleeping beside him.

10 minutes after that, he slept!

No breastfeeding at that night, he kept his promise! ^^

When I prepared the dough, he was so eager to make the letter D from it. He wanted to put the dough on it by himself. A nice progress! ^^

*Coloring D objects*
He did the coloring all by himself but I really needed to ask him for few times. The progress was he could able to color in the object itself as he wasn't able before.

*Paste D objects*
He pasted the objects with Uncle K beside him. He insisted Uncle K to stay beside when he was doing it. He applied the glue and pasted all the objects all by himself. He still couldn't able to recognize the Daffodil flower.

*Circle D*
This was the first time I gave this activity for him. He never did it before.

I asked him to circle the letter as we didn't have any dot painters. He got the orange marker and he preferred to color the letter. ^0^

Once again, he made it with Uncle beside.....-__-"

Learning Toys
*Dining set toys*
The picture was so bad.....-__-"

In order I didn't have any idea for him to play, I asked Uncle K to get the dining set toys out from the green box. It was like a big treasure for him. He played along with it when I had to go for work. He enjoyed his time playing with it.

*Stamp*

That day, he wasn't enjoyed with his learning time. So, I gave him the stamp to be played. He played with it for few minutes and enjoyed it so much.

Miscellaneous
*Playing with Uncle*
My beloved students gave me some cars toys again. They ever gave me these once when I celebrated my birthday. Thanks to William Kenneth Hartanto and Tiffany Madeline Hartanto. These siblings are very nice to me. ^^

Now, Fritz has lots of collection of cars toys. One morning, he played with Uncle. As he has Mater, one of Cars cast, both were playing like they saw in the movie.

Uncle moved Mater back and made it jump high as it wanted to pass some cars down but it didn't make it through. So Mater walked on those cars. When it's done, it's screamed out "He did it!!" Fritz always laughed loudly everytime when Uncle did it. That was his expression...

Fun : Playing with Viella, Cherryl, Phael and Brandon
On Sunday, one of Mom's March club (Ms Winda) invited the members to come to her husband's new business Carwash. It's located near the Jakarta Eye Center will be and Metro TV building.

There were some of moms and their kiddos came there to get free services from her. There were Ms Merry and Cherryl, Ms Yulis and Phael and Ms Dewi and Brandon. All of us came with our hubbies. We came with Oma too.

We really had a great time there. In a big spacious room, Ms Winda entertained us with cakes as Ms Merry had a birthday today. We arranged the cakes into a birthday cake without any candles in the top.

Children also had their great time together by playing with toys. She prepared the kitchen set tools with the utensils too. Fritz put out all his cars toys in the floor and shared it with his friends. They played along for almost 2 hours while Dads were waiting their cars had washed.

Moms had chit chats a lot and shared stories together. Taking pictures. Grabbing the cakes. Men were having a great conversation too. What a great time we had!!
