K4 : Week 30

K4 : Week 30

Fritz is currently 4 years 7 months

Science

We continued our learning. This time, we learnt about Circulatory System. First, we watched a movie from KidsHealth.com to know more how heart works. It's also a learning too for me as my biology was never getting a good score in my era. :P

Now we know that the size of heart is just a clench of our fist. It's small but it works so hard in every single seconds. It's never stop working even when we're sleeping.

After that, we pasted the part of heart. I know he didn't know all the name so well, at least he knew that heart was divided into 4 parts.

In the end, we pasted the vein and artery in our part of body. We used a blue and red wool as a symbol of those. Nice work, boy! ^_^

Craft

I just captured the tiger only and forgot to get the shop's picture. Though I still needed to help him, overall, he did well folding the paper.

Fun

Fritz was invited to attend a birthday party for Celine. She celebrated her 4th birthday that celebrated at Bakmi GM, Citra 5. Her mom invited all the member of her classmate, so for sure, Fritz didn't anyone there. Luckily, he didn't put any matter with that. He still could join the party and he enjoyed it so much. We couldn't stay until the party was over as we had to attend a wedding party of my friends.

We attended Om Gusti and Tante Vivi's wedding. Here the story...

Gusti and Vivi's Wedding

Gusti and Vivi's Wedding

I've known this couple from college when we were in Pastoran. We were also in the same Legion of Mary, Perawan Yang Murah Hati (PYMH) Presidium at that time. Though I didn't too close to them as their best friends who know everything about their life, we were quite knowing each other by sharing some stories when we met in some occasions for Kombat.

They were in relationship for quite long time, more than 7 years that I knew. They were getting close each other during Ziarek 2005 while PYMH was being the team for that occasion. I think all the members of Pastoran know all about their first story how they could get close and had their relationship. It's so silly! Lol

They came in two different culture, Chinese and Javanese, but they have one heart as Catholic. I really do love this couple. I believe they are the happiest couple I've ever known. Gusti really tried his very best to have Vivi as his wife. Happy ever after, guys! May God bless you two with gorgeous kids and good life...

I met my oldies friends from the Legion of Mary. It's just like a small reunion for us. How I missed those time!

Pastoran is really the best part in my life and I'm proud to be the part of Pastoran.

Legally Ours!

Legally Ours!
The legal called Ali to come to the marketing office to sign the agreement letter for our house. We came together by bike there in the middle of the day. They greeted us warmly when we entered the office. Then, we had chit chatted before the agreement. I've never believed that it would come true!

Legally, the house is ours now after we're signing the letter. Pose!

Science

This week, it's time to learn about the Respiratory System.

I found the lungs by goggling. I asked Fritz to color the lungs and applied it on our open skeleton. Before, I asked him to watch how we breath in KidsHealth.com. It's a nice resource for kids to learn all about the body.

I supposed to make a simple experiment about Lungs using balloon but I couldn't find the balloon. Fritz forgot where he put it anyway. So, no experiment for this part. :(

Resource:

Math

He found that measuring using the tool was so fun. So he measured every things in the house. He measured the fridge, box, sofa, table and even the wall. From this, he learned about tens. Nice work, boy! ^_^

Bahasa Indonesia

I borrowed the Bahasa Indonesia book from my tutorial class. He got so enthusiast in learning it. Slowly but sure, boy! ^_^

This week, he followed me again to my tutorial classes. This time he learned to read 2 syllables sentences in Bahasa Indonesia. Glad to see him able to read the simple one! ^_^
Art

This time we're making Butterfly Foot Print with Nicole. Firstly, they were so happy making it together then in few minutes both were having a quarrel and ending with Fritz's crying. I don't have the picture of the art this time as I had to separate both of them. LOL

Miscellaneous

My Silly Boy's action this time..."I'm in jail, Mama" and he was under the laundry basket. OMG!! O_O

It's Sunday and it's time for me to cooking off. Just for Sunday only! Papa made our lunch and this time he made us Toge Goreng (fried beansprout) - contains noodles, fried tofu, beansprout with fermented soybean (oncom and tauco). Yummy!!

Recently, Fritz loved to eat late in the night before he got to sleep. That night, he asked me to make him a plate of fried rice instead of having his milk. He could grab lots of fried rice I made. Wow! Then he could sleep tight till morning. LOL

Eid al-Dha Holiday 2013

Eid al-Dha Holiday 2013
This holiday was coming in the middle of the week, on Tuesday. My MIL asked to go out of town. We chose to Bogor to eat ngohiang, the most favorite dish we eat every time we go to Bogor. That's the first plan.

Few days before we went out, one of my friend recommended a place in Bogor. It's Warso Farm, a farm of durians and dragon fruits owned by an army veteran named Warso. I searched the location and few articles in Google and it's quite exciting place to go so far. Then, I threw my suggestion to my MIL and she agreed.

So, today, we're ready to have some fun going out of town together with my MIL and BIL. We went out from my parents' house almost 8 o'clock AM. Before we picked them, we had breakfast at Kofie Noodles in Kelapa Gading. It's so recommended as they made their own noodles and dumpling skin. I love something handmade or homemade.

When we ate, we sat next to a family with a same age boy as Fritz. His mom asked me lots of questions. She started our talks by asking about Fritz's left handed. Then we continued our talk about school and homeschool. She offered me a job, giving private tutor to her boy. Too bad, she lives far away from our house. :(

After our tummy was fulfilled with noodles, we picked my MIL and BIL. It's almost 11 o'clock when we started our journey. I just prayed we're not gonna face a heavy traffic as it's a holiday for everyone. Thankfully there's no traffic jam during our way. We finally arrived almost 12.30 in the noon after searching with my BIL's GPS. The place isn't hard to find. We faced many green areas - trees and fields with a mountain as a background. It's just like my drawing picture during primary school. LOL - just two mountains with rice fields and a zigzag way in between.

As it's not a harvest months, so there's only a bit durians we could see in the trees. We found the big one.

After we're done walking around the farm and we didn't see any durians in the trees, we decided to sit in a simple restaurant which sell some foods with durians. There's surabi durians, durians ice, and also a durian that we could grab it together. My MIL bought a durian for us while Ali bought an ice durians.

Fritz found his pleasure in a playground. This was his first time playing a roundabout stuff - I don't know the name :P.

Look at his happy face!

Fritz had his lunch here. He got a packet of rice, a grilled fish with tempe, tahu, sour soup, and two salty fish and also an ice tea. It's just for IDR 25,000. Very cheap!!

After that, we went to Pasar Ah Poong in Sentul. Badly, we faced heavy traffic jam in Bogor. It took almost an hour to reach Sentul and we arrived around 4 PM. Wow, lots of people were there! We found a bit difficulty to park our car. We just ordered martabak eggs only as we hardly to find seats and it's totally so hot and crowded. After that, we decided to walk around. So many nicely things to be captured there and here what we did there...

What's behind your head, honey?

Woo...^_*
