Funday With Kombat to Samuel Orphange

Funday With Kombat to Samuel Orphange
Kombat had a secret mission this time. From the information we heard from one of our person, there's an orphanage which the operational isn't in a proper way.

A day before we went there, one of our founder and her niece were visiting this place for surveying. When both of them arrived, they were being treated unfriendly by the person there. They captured some pictures that showed how poor they treated the children.

Today, I with Fritz and few person from Kombat gathered in McDonald, Serpong, as our main point meeting. Then we went to the venue. We were shocked how the owner of the orphanage greeted not very warmly to us. He asked to one of us what we're going to do there. Geez! Of course, we're going to have some fun with the kids!

Then that man asked the other man to prepare the mat for us while in front of the house, in the corner area, there's a 4 year boy crying. Few minutes later, we're inside the house waiting for the man preparing mats for us, the first man who greeted us before pulling the crying boy from outside to inside through the other side of the house. He put the boy into a room, in a second, he opened the door and asked that boy to sit with others. I didn't get idea what he did to that boy. Couldn't imagine more!

We sat in the mat together with the children. Just a second then the children were not in control. Some of them were busy strangling each other while the others said some impolitely words to us. We tried to control the condition but it's very useless. We really couldn't do anything with them.

To be honest I put my pity on them. FYI, they sleep in the mat we sat every day, every night. No bed or even any room for them. The clothes they wear seemed not being washed for days. They also don't get proper food. Every day they eat instant noodles instead of vegetables or fruits. OMG!

What's inside the owner's head, huh?! They build an orphanage with totally wrecked inside. No room, no bed, no proper food and no clean clothes for the children. They also don't have any good sanitation.

Updates 21st Feb 2014
One of my friend said that they had moved to the new location, new building. I hope they are well treated by the owner now as they are having new environment. Pray the best for the children there. I really couldn't imagine there's an orphanage that don't have any heart like that.

K4 : Week 40

K4 : Week 40
Fritz is currently 4 years 9 months

Happy New Year 2014!

We had our own party by making shabu-shabu and seeing fireworks through our apartment. Fritz didn't like the loud sound from the fireworks so it's the best decision just staying at home. :D

Happy New Year, may this year bring us more luck and healthier. GBUs!

Holigram Program

Our holiday program for this Christmas Edition had over this week. This was the last day for all the kids. We just had 3 kids to celebrate our last day, minus Celine {she was preparing for going to Canada this month}. So the farewell was a bit silent for us.

The three kiddos finished their party hats and continued to have their own party by sharing their food while waiting for the chocolate melted in the kitchen. We were going to make choco corn flakes. The result wasn't good looking enough as the chocolate wasn't melting very nice. However, the kiddos enjoyed so much! LOL

We're having our last day picture together with the moms also. Thanks for joining our holiday program, friends!!

Fun

We decided to go to Lembang in our first day in 2014. More story here...

Field Trip : Lembang

Field Trip : Lembang
Our first day in 2014 was filled by going to Lembang, Bandung. My MIL asked us to go there with her and my BIL. We went so early to avoid the heavy traffic jam in Bandung. We started our trip today at 6 AM from my MIL's house.

The first place we went through was Kartika Sari to buy some snacks there. I just bought a pack of cheese roll. It's quite expensive actually, it costs 40K rupiah for 10 cheese rolls inside the box. Then we continued to Prima Rasa to buy the other snacks. I bought a loaf of brownies, a pack of durian molen and a picnic roll.

As we didn't get our breakfast, I decided to have porridge along our way out from Prima Rasa. I shared the porridge with Fritz.

We continued our trip to St Maria Fatima's church in Lembang. I didn't put my heart here but I cried in a small chapel there. I couldn't hold my burden anymore. I didn't know how to express what I felt just crying.

Then we went to Susu Lembang Kencana near the church. The price for every meal isn't too expensive, however, it's too bad that they don't maintain the area very well. They have a very big space to be explored as tourist area. I think they will be more famous if they maintain it. Maybe they can provide flying fox and so many facilities for children to play there.

We ordered a strawberry yogurt, a chocolate yogurt, a hot choco milk and a plate of grilled glutinous. For three meals costed not more than 50K rupiah. Cheap! When I and Fritz went to the back of the spacious area, I just saw 3 cows in the field. They even didn't have more cows. They really need a change for their place.

Next destination was going to De Ranch. It's a very recommended place to go. They had a big area for their ranch. With a 5K rupiah for the entrance, we get a great scenery as the back ground of the ranch and breathe a very clear air.

posed!

Fritz chose to play this boat. He played more than half an hour. The rule is 15 minutes. :P

Posed with the team

us!
My MIL insisted to go to Floating Market. It's quite near from De Ranch but the traffic was already traffic. It took more than an hour to get there.

Finally we arrived after we had fight to get the car park in the middle of the crowded of people who wanted to get inside the Floating Market. We had to park our car in front of someone's shop. Geez!

The entrance costed 10K for every person. Bandung has lots of public area to explore and they know it so they always ask for the entrance fee for it. Gosh!

OMG! Tons of people were here!! SO crowded! We even could enjoy the place, except of course my MIL. :P There's nothing we could do here. We're just ordered for some snack only not a lunch for us. Besides, we had to change our money with the coin as the pic below. The coin costs 5K and 10K and we can't exchange it if we don't use it anymore. Not a very recommended place to go!

The trip was over. We had to face more than 3 hours to go home passing Sadang not the highway. We reached home almost in the middle of night without any good breakfast, great lunch or even simple dinner. Then we ended with instant noodles before we slept. *eyes rolling*
