His thumb was numb because there was dirt beside his nail. It took for a week I think before I finally realized that his thumb was a bit numb than usual. Then I took the dirt out from it. When I asked him to cover it with band aid, he asked for Cars' band aid. What a Cars lover!!

My super model was back in the stage! He helped me to promote my clothes then I had to pay with 2 pieces of clothes as his salary. OMG! ^_^

Cute Yellow Lion

Grey Long Sleeves Tie

My Dad's Kidney

My Dad's Kidney
I don't know what God's plan is with my life. Few weeks ago in Saturday, I'd heard from my mom that my dad's pee was bleeding, not much but it contained blood in his pee. I asked my mom why she didn't ask him to hospital or call a doctor for this situation. As it's Saturday, we {in Jakarta, Indonesia} couldn't have any specialist doctor. I didn't find any frightened from my brother or my mom with this situation. I think it was a serious problem.

That night, I was looking for information about it. I tried to talk with 2 doctors, friends of mine and Ali - Mba Sylvia and Yossy, to get a little information about this problem. I called Yossy and she thought it might be a stone in my dad's kidney while Mba Syl said it might be a tumor in our conversation that night in her inbox via Facebook. Oh my!

On Monday, my dad was going to Mayapada Hospital to see an internist doctor with my mom and brother. The doctor sent him to go to the Urologist doctor to find out what happen with him. The Urologist asked him to have an X-ray that Saturday. As the doctor said that my dad had to empty his stomach a night before, he preferred to stay in a hospital. The next day when I arrived to see my dad's having an X-ray, my mom said that one of his kidney was in a poor condition. She got the information from the X-ray's person. :(

We had the bad news that afternoon. From the X-ray we couldn't see his right kidney clearly. The doctor even couldn't explain what it was. He suggested we had Cystoscopy for my dad. He also suggested us to find another opinions from other specialist doctor before we decided to have it. He gave my dad some medicine to stop the bleeding. I knew the medicine itself wouldn't be forever, we should find the solution for my dad's problem.

I was a bit disappointed when I saw my mom and my brother didn't put this problem as a serious thing for my dad's condition. They always gave lack of money as their main point reason to fix my dad. That week was first time I couldn't sleep well and also a week for my birthday.

What a terrible birthday ever in my life I think. My dad was very angry to me when I asked him to walk to the dining table that Tuesday {22nd April}. He refused to walk when he was going to have his lunch. I insisted him to walk. He finally wanted to walk and had his lunch in the dining table with his grumpy face. As I made him lowering his pride, he asked me out from his house for not being an obey daughter for her. He asked me not to stay at his house anymore.

He didn't get the point of my reason asking him to walk, that's not even 20 steps. I believe he said to mom that I was a cruel daughter and that's being the perception of my lovely family {my dad, mom and brother} about me. I asked so because he always gets what he wants. Every morning he gets his breakfast in his bed. Then for lunch, he asks my brother to get it for him and he eats in his bed, again. He even doesn't want to try to move his body. He walks only in the afternoon after having nap while I'm away for working. It's bad actually for his body. That's the reason why I always insist him to walk. Am I bad seriously?

My dad is having stroke for his left parts almost 14 years. We always try to get what he needs. The bad thing is he doesn't want to be controlled by others. We have to follow his 'rules' - having meals in bed, eating everything he wants, refusing to eat healthy food, sleeping lately till 2 AM, not moving his joints and many more. If not, he will get angry. My mom and brother always grants his wants, but not with me. So no wonder I become the bad person in this house. :D

He's healthy enough actually. He still has good memory to remember the telephone numbers, the streets and many more. Badly, he's a bit lazy and prefer comfort for himself. I believe it's all the accumulative of his rules.

That week became a terrible birthday ever for me. I couldn't sleep well while my dad's having problems with his kidney as well as asking me out from his house.

I asked my mom to call his 11 siblings to announce about his healthiness. Before, she refused to tell them and I didn't get it. Finally she wanted. When his siblings knew about it, one of my aunt brought him to other hospital. He got a CT scan to know more about his kidney. Few days after that we had the result. There's a mass diameter 6 cm in his right kidney. The doctor even couldn't said it's a tumor or what. He referenced his Urologist to know more, again! Honestly, I really hate with the health institution in Indonesia. They will make us confuse with our health problems.

Before we faced this problem, I've got sign. Few times I found out blood vaguely after I finished my pee when I wanted to flush it. Other sign was during a week before my dad got his X-ray. I met my student's maid who was coming to my work field that afternoon. I hardly recognized this woman as she's darker than before. I finally knew her and she said that she's having failure kidneys. She came with her husband. She became skinny and all of her body was dark.

I really don't know what His plan to my family. The one that I know, I try to surrender and let Him do the rest for my dad. I hope He still wants to give us ways out from every problems we face. There's nothing impossible in Him. Pray the best for my Dad, Lord! Strength him and also us....

Fritz joined with Rockstar Gym starting this month. I think it's a good place for him to improve his gross motor skill. He really needs it. Surprisingly he was totally excited joining with few classes there. He loves gymnast class for sure. All of the coaches were so care with the kids. I was so thankful I found this place from my friends, Mba Lala and Mba Wiet.

Reading

I was amazed with his reading skill recently. He could read in English as well as in Bahasa Indonesia. One night, he asked me a book to read. Then he read by himself with me beside. Surprisingly, he could read without any misspelled. Wow!
