Attending Peggy's Wed Party

Attending Peggy's Wed Party
This was the first time for Fritz not being cranky in the wedding party. I was so happy to see it. He could walk here and there. Being nice and humble to everyone. Giving his hand to greet them. Eating the dinner together with us. What a nice boy he was at that night!

However, he's not really nice till the end of the party. When every kids were getting sleepy because the late of night, Fritz was so. Firstly, he wanted to be carried with Ali then few minutes later, he asked me to carry him till we got back to the car. ~_~ *heavy*

This was the complete personals party.
- Donald, Davina, Rafael, both of Davi's parents.
- Anto and Jeanne (both of them are domicile in Singapore)
- Vidor, Thiya, Lona and Vidor's Mom
- Arief & Yossy
- Jule & Bea
- Wendy & Ko Chin
- Jimmy
- Alex, Dian, Keyla and the baby inside
- Ari, Emil & Kairi
- Melissa Padang
- Sari & Future hubby
- Linda & hubby
- Felix, Winny and the baby inside
and maybe some friends I couldn't remember it one by one...

I met my chat's friend and she was Ali's friends too; Tephen, Ernie and O'i

And my memory was back to 5 years ago when I met Ali for the first time. It was the same place, Kelapa Gading Sport Club. Same months but different date.

It was Don & Davi's wed at that moment. I was a freelance of Violet Wedding Organizer after finishing my college. And it was Peggy who had "helped" us in our first journey. I worked for Peggy at that moment to help maintaining the wedding and Ali as the guest receiver with his others friends.

Now, we attended Peggy's wed party with Fritz is in our hands. What a memory!

Toddler : 17 months 4 weeks

Toddler : 17 months 4 weeks

This week, I'm still adjusting with my new time as there wasn't any maid in my family's house. So, I'm still out of focus with what Fritz's learning. Hopefully, next week, I can maintain a good time.

Learning Toys

*Chopstick, Dough and Bottle*
In Monday morning, we started the day with the learning toys. Today, I gave him some chopsticks, a Fun dough and a bottle. He explored all those things.
First, I gave him the chopstick and the dough. I asked him to stick the chopsticks into the dough. Then, look what he did...
Next, he has quite bored with the dough. Then, he put the chopsticks into the bottle. Just need few minutes only.
The last one, he played pretending. He pretended that he was eating noodle using the chopsticks. He also shared the fake noodle to me. And when the noodle has almost been finished, he hold the bowl and pretended cleaning the rest of noodle in the bowl....What a cute!!

*Robot Shape*
Actually the activities was in Tuesday, but I just have time to post it a few day after.

When I gave it, he didn't really into it. He still couldn't play it. He just hold the hammer and peeked through the holes. May be we can try it later! ^^

*Pooh Puzzle*
Believe it or not, I've got it from my Mom and she had bought it for only 5 thousand rupiah.

Still, he can't play with it. He needs time to practice as it was the first time I gave to him.

*Balls in the tub*
"Balls are the greatest toy in the world"
Barney said so in one of his stories.

Considering what Barney said, I gave these various colorful balls when Fritz was taking a bath. Actually, we had bought it when he was still under a year. Then, I just put those in a basket and never used it anymore.

He has quite fun with these balls. He took a ball out from the basket and put it in the other basket. He did it continuously.

*Piggy Bank*
Friday morning, Fritz wanted to play the Mickey Mouse's piggy bank when he was having breakfast.

Then he just modified it. He put all the coins from the bottoms. Look what he did! Nice try, boy...

Reading Book

*Part of Body*
I bought this book in Gramedia, Puri Indah Mall with the other series.

Fritz just loves to see this part of body's book. He also can point the right parts when we mention the name in English. Such as: eye, ear, nose, mouth, hair, chin, elbow, fingers, hand and sole

Miscellaneous

*Wearing Sandals*
One day, I found him using his sandals in the house. He refused to open it.

I think, he copies me. I always use sandals inside the house and he always reminds me to wear it if I forget to use it.

Look what he did! He insisted to open the drawer and found his treasures, Mickey Mouse.

*Drinking from Bottle*
Next, he pretends drinking water using a bottle. He copies his Poppa's style. Sometimes, he asked me to put a little water inside it and he drank through it.

*Watching the Cobbler*
I called a cobbler to fix my broken shoes for the party this Saturday. Fritz was so curious with what the man did. So I let him to see him.

When we were outside, he wasn't so curious anymore, he just got busy seeing cats, motors, cars and others in the street.

*Watching TV with style*
After taking a nap in the Friday afternoon, I turned on the TV inside our room. And.....he showed this style!

Going to Church again

Going to Church again
Finally we arrived at His house again. We went to St Laurentia Church, Alam Sutera after I took my private class with Jason and Jeffry. It's really a nice church!

I love this church. They prepare a room for babies where no one can hear how noisy inside. They really concern about it. We sat inside it with some of babies and toddlers also.
Though I (I didn't know bout Ali) really hard to concentrate with the sacrament, I felt so happy being there. Fritz also has shown his comfy. At least, he's not crying when he heard the piano sound or the choir and even when the Pastor took roles in front.

I think, we can consider this church as our next destination...Love it so much.....

Toddler : Lebaran Weekdays

Toddler : Lebaran Weekdays
Fritz is currently 17 month 3 weeks

Monday Things

We're still having Lebaran holiday. So no weekly plan I made for this week.

*Throwing the dust(bin)*

I teach him how to put the used things into the dustbin. He knows exactly! Today, suddenly after I asked him to throw away the used tissue, he got the bin. Because the bin was too big for him, he hold it. I didn't know what was in his mind while doing this. He became so busy body, walking around holding this bin. @_@

*Learning toys: ABC magnet*

The washing machine is down now during Lebaran holiday to help us washing the clothes. I've got an idea to put some ABC magnet that I bought for 10,000 rupiah in the Hypermart to the side of the washing machine. So Fritz can play and learn some alphabet. Now, I think, he can recognize "O" and "A", but I'm not really sure as he always says "ou(r)" when we pass Carrefour and some big alphabet he saw in the way.

*Learning toys: Piggy Bank*

He asked me to play with it. No more words to say, he experts on it. Loves to see him doing it full of concentration!
*Watching Barney*

Opa has bought Barney VCD for him when we went to Margo City on the first day of Lebaran. Today, he's got his opportunity to watch it. It's about BJ is practicing how to do some tricks in basketball. Though he has tried lots, he still couldn't be able to do the tricks. He got upset and sang a sad song. Guess?? Fritz was too empathy with what BJ's feeling. He's gonna be crying. His eyes were red already but then he's smile after that. That's the first time he's watching. In the afternoon, he asked me to turn it on again. And...he's crying after that. ~_~ really sad!!

*Playing with Opa's medicine bottle*

He really loves to play with it. He can pretend and imagine that he drink a medicine through it. So cute to see him playing pretending like this!

*Eating with chopsticks*

This boy is really an observer. Today, he tried to use the chopsticks that we always use for eating noodles. Look! He was trying to get the Opa's noodles using the chopsticks. He can hold it properly. Just need few more times of practice, boy!

Tuesday Things

*Going to traditional market*

This morning, I, my Mom and Fritz were going to the nearby market by motor. This is the 1st time experience for Fritz has been there. He saw so many things related with Mickey Mouse. Like usual, he always points to them. What a great experience! (unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera.....)

*Going up the ladder*

He did some gross motor skill today. He went up to the second floor by himself with a little help and full of guidance from behind ^0^ (Avoiding from falling!) Now he can pull up his body when he's stepping the steps. But, he still can't do the going down the steps. Practice more, boy! Anyway, he's so proud when he could finish his steps and arrive at the second floor safely....\(^0*)/ yaaaaay.....(no pictures insert...)

*Sorting the buttons*

When we went to the market, I found some buttons. I bought 5 colours of buttons and the seller gave me 1 free....*Yay*
So, this noon I gave Fritz these buttons to be played. First, I just opened all the buttons from the plastics and he put those in the bottle one by one. Then I prepared 6 small boxes (ex of his baby cubes) and I asked him to sort it by its colors. Guess?? He wasn't attracted! He was still busy to put it inside the bottle and twisted the lid. He is so into in twisting the lid. Still can't do but hardly learned to do it!

*Playing with the floating animals in the tub*

I got his floating animals out from the basket. He used to play with those. Now, he is able to recognize the animals when I tell its name though not all the animals he can recognize it well.

Wednesday Things

The day was so cloudy today.

*Going to market (again)*

Today he went with my Mom and bro, but suddenly it's raining. I thought it's the best time for Fritz playing in the pouring water. My mom didn't give this big opportunity for him. She was too afraid if Fritz will be sick later. So both of them waited while my bro was getting a car to pick them up. Maybe next time we will have fun in the rain, boy!

*Going to Emporium Pluit*

We got bored already at home. In this cloudy and a lil breeze outside (it's good weather to get some nap actually ^^), we decided to go to the mall. Actually, Fritz has felt so sleepy but he still didn't want to sleep in the car.

He shows his abilities in the car. He can point some vocab we mentioned. "Where is the.....?"
All in Bahasa:
- hair
- forehead
- eyes (both language)
- nose (both)
- mouth (both)
- ear (both)
- cheek
- chin (English only)
- neck
- fingers (both)
- hand
- elbow (English only)
- toes

He also can point these things (all in Bahasa):
- cloth
- pants
- shoes
- flag

Friday Things

*Going to the market*

There's something unusual when we went back from the market today. Not the things I had bought (it's just a 5 thousand rupiah of shrimp and a box of risol), but it's about Fritz.

Believe it or not, he can walk by himself from the market till home. More than 5 times I asked whether he was tired and needed to be carried..and the answers were always the same, waving his hand. Though, we had to walk in the bright sunny day, still I accompanied him walking home with sweating around my back and face. It's really so hot! At least it can make our bone's strong, right?
*Fun Time @Rafael's B'day*

When we came, Raf still fell asleep. Fritz was playing with his toys alone. He played with the toy car. He learned how to move his feet.

Raf has waken up, he's joining with Fritz. Fritz showed unfriendly gesture. Huh! I really need to teach him how to socialize. He's really not good at it.

Fritz didn't want to share the toys though it's not his own toys....Gee!! He grumbled then wanted the others. He's crying when he lost during the battle with Raf. He must really learn from it.

I think, he needed almost few hours to be settled with the environment. He adjusted with the things and people around him. And it's totally different with Raf. He gets easily to attach with someone new.

I'm so jealous with Raf. He can eat a lot. He is so friendly. He is so active, he moves here and there. He has lots of toys to be played and it's made him smart. He can speak now while Fritz is still mumbling. So many things I got jealous with Raf....I really wanna Fritz be like that...Hehehehhee.....(totally wrong perception coz every kid has their own abilities!!!)

I learned a lot from today:
- Fritz really needs to brush his teeth using tooth paste of baby
- Fritz really needs to be stimulated by talking with them along the day
- Fritz really needs many toys to be played and it's really so impossible as we don't have any great money.
- Fritz really needs good environment to develop
- Fritz needs to trial in some of preschool to maintain his social skill

Spent time with my best fella

Spent time with my best fella
Today, I really got a bad morning day. I just ran away from my home to let the tense out of my mind.

Together with Fritz, I went to Ali's shop for few hours. We really spent the time as a family. Being together that we seldom have now.

Then, the day became so hot. I didn't bring any Fritz's stuff too. We had to buy a shirt and pants for him.

Fortunately, my beloved fella, Indah Kriessanty was in home. She has resigned from her work couple weeks ago. Then we moved there to spent the day.

I'm so jealous with her. She has a great mom ever. Her mom is raising 3 girls and still taking care of them till now.

She cooks everyday for them. Delivering and picking up them to school, univ and now to the work place. Raising by own her hands without any nanny help. Doing the chores without any complains. Still she's happy to do that.

I wanna be like her, really!
I love raising the children by my own without nanny help as well as doing the chores too. It looks so tired but I have one role to be followed and I believe I can do it!

I really love spending the day today with one of my best fella who has same thought with me and can give me the right solution of my problems.

I just can pray for her, she can make peace with herself of the problems she faces now.

Everybody has their own problems to be solved out and it's just need maturity to get out of the problems itself. Just let me learn through this problems!
12:49 AM

My prayer as a parent...

My prayer as a parent...
Dear God,

I have been so long not going to Your house. So many reasons I always say to not enter to Your place. And now, I'm missing You so much. I have lots of problems that I need to solve by my own. It's really hard for me!

You gives me these problems to me, making me sometimes hard to figure it out. I believe what happens in my life now, it's all because of I'm not close to You anymore.

God,
Please, lead me to be a great parent. I'm not a perfect. I'm not a supermom that I always can do all the things. I'm not always be right. I'm not knowing everything. But I just wanna give the best things for my one.

I'm going to teach him how to be a real man
How to be dependent, responsible, empathy, nice to everyone, humble, eager to help someone who need it, strong and how to control his emotion
Hopefully in the future he can be a success person with the strong personality he has.

I believe ~ Great parents raise a great child ~

Amien....

Playing with Kimi

Playing with Kimi

On Sunday, one of our relatives has come to our home. They are my mom's sisters family; the twin sister and their dad, together with Kimi and the maid.

I asked them to play in our room.

Fritz has shown bad attitude. He refused sharing the bed with Kimi and also the toys.

He grumbled when Kimi sat nearby.
He grumbled when Kimi hold his new BB's toy.
He grumbled when Kimi tried to read one of his book.
Then he laughed when Kimi cried.....-_-'

In the afternoon, we spent our dinner at Gokana Teppan, Puri Indah Mall. Just my family only. (^o*)

Those photos were taken when we're waiting for ice cream from KFC....\(*o*)/
Fritz loves ice cream so much!!*wohooooo*

Lebaran Holiday

Lebaran Holiday
Day 1

Got bored already at home!

Then, we decided to go out...and we planned to Depok as my bro wanted to know this area.

It's a long road to go there, took almost 2 hours in the car.
We spent the day at Margo City. We were starving already as it was 2 pm and we didn't get our lunch yet.
We gobbled our lunch at Solaria. Fritz, like usual, played with the pencil and a paper. He scribbled and scribbled then he got bored. He just took a few spoon in his lunch. He preferred walking and looking around.
Then we got a big frozen yogurt at J-Co after that. So yummy.....*slurp-slurp*

Fritz didn't like the sour things and he just ate the almonds and a little bit spoon of the yogurt.

When it's time to go home, my mom asked to buy some breads. So we decided to go to Serpong. Whoooooa.....it's really a long road to go there as Serpong is in the west side of Jakarta and Depok is in the south side of Jakarta.

The bakery was closed when we arrived there. >.< style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">lontong sayur for the last time. FYI, we had eaten it since yesterday, for our lunch, dinner, next breakfast and the last was our dinner. So it meant we ate it for 4 times.....\(^o^)/....

Day 2

8.00 AM

We were already prepared all the things and ready went to Bogor!! *YaY*

Arriving Bogor at 9.15 AM...then my Mom asked going to Puncak better than stayed at Bogor. Then we rushed to Puncak before we got stuck in the way.
I saw a beautiful rainbow purposelessly when I was staring at the sky.

First destination was Cimory.

The atmosphere was totally different when I've been here 4 years ago with my ex colleges partners in Kinderworld Montessori Preschool.
Last time, the cows were so many and the ranch wasn't too small. We just can see the ranch from outside. Then they added some toys in the playground. And most of all, they really prepare so many tables in their restaurant as so many visitors come and enjoy their dairy products. The other thing is the weather wasn't as breeze as 4 years ago.....it's really hot!

Fritz has been enjoying the playground and drinking strawberry milk.

I just recalled my memories back when I hold my ex fave child in school when I've been there, and now I hold my own child. Time is really going so fast!

Next destination was having lunch at Ikan Bakar Cianjur. It's really far far away. We took almost 3 hours in the way because of lots traffic jam. Fritz was so boring in the car. He couldn't do anything. He got stuck!

And yay....we arrived finally. We had lunch and much fun there. Fritz didn't want to have his lunch and preferred saw a toy shop there. He found lots of Mickey's stuffs there. In the end, we bought a miniature of Blackberry. He loves it so much!

We passed Bandung when we were going home, avoiding traffic jam from Puncak to Jakarta. We arrived at 9.30 in the night.

Toddler : Lebaran Holiday

Toddler : Lebaran Holiday
Fritz is currently 17,5 months (17 month 2 weeks)

As this week we have an Eid Mubarak, Fritz hasn't learnt like usual. We just did for 3 days only and the 3 days left we really have much fun with my family. We spent our weekends out of town. \(^0^)/ *yay*

ABC's : Coloring Cc
Based on the pictures..

From the top left, he did the coloring in the floor using color pencil.

Not more than 5 minutes, he stopped

I put a table and a chair. He sit down and his eyes to Playhouse Disney channel. Just take only few minutes. Then he got bored already.

Then he set his own table. Using his previous chair as the table and a small chair of Pooh.

Not more than 2 minutes, he finished already.

Done!

Practical Life
*Transferring beads using plastic glass*
I prepared 2 plastics glass for him and filled it with few of beads then ask him to transfer it from one glass to other glass. He still needs to control his hand. He just loves to put the one glass with 2 or 3 beads then he pours it to other glass.

Learning Toys
*Horse Toys Ride*
He asked me to ride this. He moved it up and down. Then opened and closed the saddle. Looking the stickers around it. The fact was he just rode it for a while then he was busy with the appearance.

*O-Puzzle*
I had bought it few months ago but Fritz never enjoys playing with it. He always spilled out the puzzle from the box and threw away.

I tried again this week playing with these puzzle. The shapes are extraordinary, O shape puzzle. There are 16 animals and we have to match the head with the legs. It's so an educative toys I think.

Though he still can't match it well, at least he didn't throw away \^0^/

Fun
*Spending Time with Rafael*
On Monday, we met Rafael, one of Poppa's best friend's boy.

We spent much time with his paternal grams and Rafael's mom, Davina.

After we had dinner time at MKG 5, then we moved to Timezone for having fun.

Fritz and Rafael were playing cars together. They really have fun much though they didn't talk each other. >.<

Reading Books

*Pooh's Sunny Day Songs*

It's a book where we can push the buttons and sing along through the songs. We can see the lyrics from the inside book. The story itself is about what Pooh and friends do in the sunny day and the songs related with the story itself. Nice book!

*Mickey Mouse Clubhouse : Up, Up and Away*

Like usual, he always and always loves everything related with Mickey Mouse. He had read it for many times and loves it so much!!

*Pooh : Air*

It's an educational Indonesian text book of Pooh. We can learn all about air.

Miscellaneous

*Mickey's Bottle*

I had bought it few months ago and I really got lazy to wash it. On Sunday, when we want to go to a mall, I asked my maid to wash it. And Fritz loves so much drinking using it. He can drink lots lots of water....^0^

*Wallet*

Recently, he is really into playing with our wallet. He put all the things out from the wallet.

The left picture is Uncle K's wallet when he played in his room and insisted asking to hold it.

The right ones was my wallet. I'm not using it again and I put some name cards, member cards and some photos inside it. And look what he did to my used wallet. He got all the things out from it. Haaaaa........>.<

Mba Siti is going home town....

Mba Siti is going home town....
11 months has passed and it's time to say goodbye to Mba Siti, my family's maid.

So many stories happen...

When it's the time to say goodbye, I just felt I'm losing her much.

She is a tough woman, I think. Everyday was nothing left without mistakes she made. There were always many things lost on her works. And sometimes it's quite silly and she got my high tense.

Though sometimes I got really anger to her, she was still trying her best to do what I want. But I was never know what was in her heart. Maybe she got hurt feeling lots with my bad words. And I really regretted what I did to her and it has been late to say "sorry" to her.

I still don't know she will come back again or not. We are hardly to believe in her words. One time she could say A statement then the next days she has change her mind and made B statements and so on.

So, we're just waiting for the result on 15th September, whether she'll come back or not.

Toddler : 17 months 1 week

Toddler : 17 months 1 week

Colors : Orange
This week, we started the day with painting Orange colors in the drawing book. He really couldn't wait to paint on it. He wanted to grab the brush when I was mixing red and yellow paint and just showing him how it mixed.
In the afternoon, we did the pasting together.
Orange things are Orange flower, Orange pumpkin, Orange carrot, Orange onion, Orange orange and Orange goldfish

ABC's : Coloring Bb

He's not really into it now especially with crayon. I had postpone it since Monday. He always refused to color it. I help him in the end. I think I have to find some other ideas about learning this.

Shape : Square
I took a square shape from his shape sorter. I think it's too big and can't be used as a square stamp. And Fritz didn't feel so comfy with it. When he saw his hands were so orange, he got cranky and asked me to clean up those.

Math : Coloring #2

Again, he didn't so into it. And in the end, he posed...again!

Learning Toys
*Mega Blocks*

He still can't stack the blocks by himself. I just help him to stack those then I ask him to take it off and put it on it's box.

For the first time, he wanted to do it but I can't get it with my camera. I left my camera in my room. So I just left the moment. -_-'

Then, I took the camera and I asked him again to take the blocks off. And here the results
*Piggy Bank*

Actually it is a Mickey Mouse and Friends' Bank, not a Piggy Bank shape. ^^

It supposed to be for the last week post and I didn't have the pictures yet. As he wanted to play with it today, so I got it.

He actually excels in doing this. He can put some coins to the Mickey's castle as he loves Mickey so much. Though sometimes it's according to his mood. If his mood is fine, he will put all the coins inside but don't ask if his mood isn't fine.
*Shape Sorter*
He really can do it alone by himself, just a little guidance from me. When he did it, he's mumbling something and I really couldn't understand what his mumbling. Full concentration!

*Thomas Train*He got it from his 1st birthday presents. It's a Thomas Train with some features he can play with. We can put some batteries under the wheels so it can move and produce sounds with the eyes wiggling. Looks so funny actually, but I do not put the batteries. Then there is ABC and 123 shape to be sort of. He obviously can't do it by himself. It's still not suitable for his age actually. So I just ask him to put in and out the shape from the door from the back of the train. He really loves the phone one!

*ABC*

Another birthday presents....

It's very useful to learn ABC. Though he didn't like much of the sound (as in his laptop), but for sure he will someday.

Practical Life
* Transferring water using sponge*

New things for him...

He put the sponge into the *gayung* and he squeeze it in the others. He did it many times...

I put the sponge in his armpit and he laughed!

*Mopping with rug (pajamas pants)*

One morning when I asked him to put his pajamas into the basket, suddenly he found some enjoyment. He mopped the floor using it. Then after more than 5 minutes he was busy with it, he moved and cleaned up the TV board. I really didn't wanna disturb what he did. Just let him explore what he likes!

*Chopstick into the bottles*

I've got this idea from some American's homeschooling blog then I modified it a little bit. I used some bamboo chopstick and a used milk bottle and let him to put all the bamboo chopsticks into it.

*Beads on the bottle*

I modified it from the chopstick then I gave him the beads. It's hang up for only few minutes. Then he got bored already and moved to other activities. That's kiddos!

Reading Books

*Spot*

I got these 6 series of Spot in Gramedia, Serpong and just cost ten thousand rupiah each. Fritz was so enjoying reading one the story, "Spot goes Holidays"

*Touch and Feel*

One of my parents' student gave some books she had to me a year ago. It is one of them. Honestly, I really can't afford to buy it by my own. And thanks to God for it!

Miscellaneous

*Okay sign..by joining his pointer and thumb into a circle shape and the rest fingers are pointing up.

*Writing with pen*

Always be his fave things to do. He can grasp the pen correctly now. He is on practicing how to put the lid.
*watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse VCD*

I bought it for Rp 5.100,- each in front of A&W Resto at Carrefour Puri Indah on last Saturday. I bought 3 items, 2 for Mickey Mouse and a Little Einstein. He can't stop watching it, he asks for many times...Look! How seriously he is when watching his best friend!
*Ipad Miniature*

Hahahahaha....:O

I got it very cheap at Carrefour Puri Indah. It's not more than ten thousand rupiah! When I gave him, he loves playing it. It really looks like an Ipad, the booming gadget for nowadays. Look! He can hold the pen stick correctly.

*Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Magz*
He never gets bored to read it many times. The one and only, he just wants to see Mickey inside here.
I never be afraid to give him books or magazine to him. He can use it properly, never tear those or do something bad. He can open pages by pages with his small fingers and he knows when it's upside down.

*Pouring soup using spoon*
Then it's time for taking lunch. I made soup for him, just macaroni, carrot and peas. Like usual, he refused to eat. And here he did to the soup. And yes, he did pouring the soup from the bowl to my plate. What a boy!!
