New Car

New Car

 
My mom in law felt pity to Ali as he always uses car daily for his work but the car wasn't appropriate anymore. She told to her youngest son to help Ali buying a new car for him, so he can easily mobile.

Thankfully that both of them were agreed to help Ali. They bought Ali a new car that he can use every single day wherever he goes.

No more that I could say than a BIG thank you for both of them. They are really showing how family can help each others. Hopefully, I could teach this kind behavior to my boy. :)

Preschool : Flower

Preschool : Flower
Fritz is currently 39 months 2 weeks

This week we still had letter F theme and we focused on Flower Theme. We really had a great week for this week.

Counting the flowers using cloth pegs. As usual he's good in it and he started doing it after few weeks.

 
Making Flower Craft. It's very simple and easy. Just paste the flower and the leaves on the letter F provided.

Puzzle Numbers. Making a puzzle based on the numbers. He learned how to count from 11-20 and he's getting used with it.

 
Flower Maze. He loves..loves...loves the maze so much. ^^

He learned what the flower needed and didn't need to stay alive. He still didn't get the point as we've never had a plant project before. So this was his first time and so far so good, he could understand what the flower need for life.

 
Once again, as we've never had any project about flower, he also didn't really know much about it. He just know that flower couldn't be eaten. LOL

Making Shape Flower. The flower came from different part of shapes. He loved everything about crafting. Of course he knew mostly the shapes.

 
Tracing the lines as the flowers' stems. Though it's quite bored for him, he still did it. ^^ 

Cooking
 

Our cooking project for this week were making Mini Pizza that I've got the recipe for few weeks ago from Tante Metta (Benn's Mom) then I saw another recipes from Tante Duhita. 

I did the dough and Fritz put the topping. Our topping were tomato sauce, slices of meat balls and cheese. 

Practical Life
 
It's been a long time he didn't play with the cloth pegs. When it's time to count the objects with the pegs, he asked to play with it after we've done with the activities. Look at his progress! Getting good in pegging.

 
One day in the noon, suddenly he asked me to play with water. Not in the house, boy! So I just let him playing with water in the bathroom. He took for more than half an hour playing by himself inside. He did the pouring and transferring the water with a small spoon. Then, he finished his playing after his outfits were wet.

 
He shows progress in scissoring. I give him permission to use the real scissors now. When I was busy to prepare his activity for next week and it's time to cut few things, he insisted to help me cutting the paper. So I gave his an opportunity to cut it with the real scissors. Though it's still not really tidy, he really did a good job on it. Yay!!!!
Learning Toys
We spent our time to buy some cheaper toys in Asemka, a place that you can buy everything in lower price....wohooooo.....
These were the toys we've bought:
 
Angry Bird Toys. It's a big hit for him. He played with this along the week. From open his eyes till he slept again in the night. He even played with his uncle (brother of Papa), the man that he never played with before. He could played together with him and had a great time. Wow!


Cars Camera. When I saw this camera, I said to myself, I had to have it for Fritz. He of course, absolutely, loved it so much. Then, one day, he pretended that he's going to take a picture like I did using a self timer. He asked Papa to take a pic with him. Then..here they were. LOL

The camera itself was quite unique. It rather looked like a little projector that you could see few characters from Cars 2 in the dark place by clicking the camera to the wall.

Handy Tools and he really looked like a Handy Manny. LOL. Firstly, he refused to use the helmet as he's a stiff person. Then, few days after he played with it, he suddenly wanted to use the helmet. I didn't take any longer to grab my camera to get this moment. He looked so cute using it. Very cool!!

Motorcycle that could be removed parts by parts. Though he still needed me to help me with these parts, he really loved this kind of toy. It really gained his skill in spinning the nuts and bolts.

 
Shapes Learning Games. I bought this toy for his learning time in recognizing the real 2D and 3D shapes. The objects are so cute as those are small and fit in his hands. I really have to keep on my eyes while he's playing with it. He sometimes plays careless with those objects and I'm really afraid of it as I still wanna keep it for longer time.


Fun
 

Fritz was really so happy that we're staying in apartment. He could play in the playground every single days during afternoon time. Look at him playing with different age kids. He could maintain himself to be adjusted to every level of his friends. And the most of all, he didn't ever meet them before. Good progress of you, boy!

Nowadays he can show his excitement when he's in a wedding party instead of crying along the party. That's happened when he's still under 2 years. He's absolutely not a party person. However, it's different now. He loves wedding and I showed him the couples as a prince and princess like he saw in his favorite TV shows, Disney. He's quite amazed with it and stood still when they were entering the hall.
We had 2 party, Saturday and Sunday noon. We accompanied Popo to the party. The first one was in Kelaga Gading Sport Club . 
 
And the second was in Dhanapala. It's Padang's wedding. Full of ornaments and very pretty decoration. What an expensive wedding!!

Moms on March : Meeting on Merry's Apartment

Moms on March : Meeting on Merry's Apartment

Since we had a big birthday party for our 3 years old kiddos, we never ever had a meet and greet again with these wonderful group, Mom on March 2009.

And this afternoon, we had a great time meeting Merry and her newborn baby in her apartment in Mediteranian Tanjung Duren. Only four of us who were able to join and the rest were busy enough with their schedule. Though her apartment as small as I have >,< as you know, moms always have chit chat times when they're gathered.

The picture has taken when Phael couldn't have his time swimming. Before they were busy swimming, while Fritz not, we took pictures. From several shoots, only 1 is the best....xixixixixi....

Summer Holiday 2012

Summer Holiday 2012
My parents are having renovation for their house this June - July. So, we decided to stay in our apartment during my long holiday {from Alpha}. 

Actually it's a great holiday I've ever have. For more than a month, I take care of Fritz all by myself, with my rules and habits. And the most of it is I don't need to hear any grumpy things from my family. It's really heaven!!
These what we do during the holiday:

Fritz plays every afternoon with his new friends (every single days he goes down). He becomes more friendly now than before. He could maintain a good friendship with new person now.

He also be a mature boy; go to pee by himself, play with his imagination during my cooking time, watch TV by himself, put on and take off his shoes then put it on the right place after that, and the most of it he's now diaper-less. He sleeps without any diaper!! What a great progress!!

He says that he loves that I could stay for him every single day. I'd love too but the fact I can't. I still need more money for us every month. :(

Another we do this holiday....

I do more cooking and baking with simple recipes. I join with Secret Group and it's very exciting join with them. I have more friends while looking after Fritz in the afternoon. More free time to do digiscrapbooks, go to the mall, or hang out.

Many things we could do without any stress!! I love my holiday and it's gonna be end and back to routine....I really can't imagine that.....

Preschool : Letter F and Frog

Preschool : Letter F and Frog
Fritz is currently 39 months 1 week

We went to letter F and I added Frog theme for this week as the letter F worksheet was so little for Fritz.


Bottle cap for spelling the letter Fish. Though he doesn't really into with this kind activity, he still wanted to do it and at least he knew how the pronounce of the object.

He enjoyed himself in applying the glue for these colorful fish.

Letter F and the objects. He knows the objects but he refused to color those nicely. He really doesn't love coloring!!

Fish Puzzle. He loves it as usual

Sequencing the fish. He's getting great with it.

Tracing big letter of Ff. He also knows this is the first letter for his name.

Tracing letter is getting easier these days for Fritz. He's good in making the letter.

Though he's getting good in tracing lines, he showed some refusal every time I asked him to do this.

Frog Theme

Recently every thing about maze becomes favorite for Fritz.

It's a piece of cake for him and he still loves to do it.

He learnt all about the frog's part of body. It's not NOSE but it's NOSTRIL, honey...LOL

Frog's life cycle. He didn't get the life cycle itself as he's quite busy how to do the puzzle. :P

He got bored already with this activity. He sometimes refused doing it.

He still skipped number 13 and 15 every time we did the counting.

Gross

Suddenly he said that he wanted to do the Frog Hop related to the Frog worksheet he did. He even made a sound like a frog and tried to hop like it too on my bed. LOL

Miscellaneous

Staying in apartment really makes him becoming so mature. He could do many things by himself now with less assist from me. Such as going to toilet for pee and flushing after that, putting his dishes after he eats or putting his shoes on the shoe racks or even putting on and taking off his shoes.

And this picture showing that he could even sleep by himself after he got tired after going from mall. He went to the bed and closed the door. When I peeped inside, he fell asleep like this.



He ever promised to Papa that he wanted to cut his hair this Saturday and he proved his promise. When we almost arrived to Opa's house, there's a barber shop {Papa always cut his hair there} and Papa asked once again to Fritz and he said yes.
So here we were, sitting on the chair and letting the barber cut his hair. He sat quietly waiting the barber finishing his job. Sometimes he pointed on something around, telling me what he saw. He's good and looked so handsome after that....LOL


Fun

This time he tried new toys in Timezone.
He said he wanted to play the car with track in the corner. After I paid for the ticket, then he said he wanted to get down. Oh my!!! He even didn't want to continue it. Gosh, 10k for 5 minutes only!!!!
And he tried the Mario race cart. Again....he just took few minutes then he said he didn't want more. The race was taken over by Papa. Look at the picture of him. Look so cute there.

As we stay for almost a month in apartment, Fritz is getting familiar with new friends he meets daily. To be honest, he's getting good too in maintaining his socialization with others. Now, he could make a friend with every one. I really happy to know this. He adjusts himself easily with new one and I really don't have any worried anymore about his socialization. He proves it!! 


This Saturday we accompanied Opa to dentist. The dentist is Fritz's step aunty, Iie Iie Ling Ling. I wanted to show him the real dentist that he always looked only on books. As usual, he didn't get enthusiast to stay on the dentist chair. He refused to be checked his teeth. He preferred to look from his chair to see Opa being checked by Iie2 Ling2. 
He even felt afraid with her as she insisted him to brush his teeth every day to avoid him from lacking his teeth. He asked me to go outside in hurry as he didn't feel any comfy inside. ;p
