Preschool : Letter U and Chinese New Year

Preschool : Letter U and Chinese New Year

Fritz is currently 46 month 2 weeks

Usually, we had a Chinese New Year theme but this time we didn't. For sure we didn't have it as I was totally scared of snake. :P So sorry, boy. I'm really terribly afraid of it. We just continued to letter U this week. :D

This time, we had an Under Sea Project. I've got the idea from Pinterest and the other resources. Then I've this idea. :P This project was quite easy and used cheap materials.

For the background:
I used an Indomie cardboard that I could find easily at my home. Then I covered the base with blue manila carton. We decorated with seaweed from green asturo paper and dolphins sequences.

The actors:
Crab, turtle, jellyfish and whales were using egg carton that I've got it from traditional market near us. We colored the shells using paint. Fritz helped me coloring those. And I also needed colorful pipe cleaners and wiggle eyes.

For the fishes, I drew it by myself and I asked Fritz to color using his crayons. Paste the eyes and I pasted it using tape and silver string.

Now it seemed like a small miniature under the sea. Yeaaah....^_^

Fun

Chinese New Year 2013

Chinese New Year 2013
Celebrating Chinese New Year in our family is a must. Everyone was welcoming this day with new shirts as a symbol of new beginning. Everyone has same prayer to be more lucky through this new coming year. Children were also happy waiting for their angpao (hong pao or red packets). :)

Thanks to God that we still have another year again. Last Dragon year really brought us a lot of miracles to us. So many great things happens. Full of bless!

This year let's we coming a Snake Year. To be honest I really don't like this symbol. SNAKE....uggghhh.....I hate this animal so much. And the worst one is snake and pig weren't meant to be. There will be some bad luck for pig (Chinese Zodiac) through Snake year. Hopefully it won't happen to me. Hush...hush....go away bad luck!

Fritz was one of the happy people that day. He woke up with his new shirts, Cars pajamas, that he wanted to wear so much. Then, it's time for us preparing all the things, including the red packets for the kids or person who doesn't get married yet.

It's time to do the routines, the youngers have to honor or respect the elder by doing gong xi. First, I and Ali did the gong xi to my parents and said some wishes like hope this year both of them are getting more health, prosperous and happiness. Then, my brother did the same things to my parents and us. And the last was Fritz. He had to gong xi to every members to get the red packets. LOL.

After that, we had to pick up my MIL and BIL. Once again, Fritz did the gong xi again to both of them. Not longer then, we had to go to Pramuka, Ali's paternal's family. We're the first family approaching there.

So happy to see that Fritz was change and their perception about Fritz was also change. He's no longer a cranky kid but he's a caring boy who can treat a little baby very well. That baby is Ali's brother's daughter. Fritz was trying to make her smile by doing some silly face. You have to see the way he did. SO funny!! LOL

Popo and the grandchildren

Next, around 2 PM, we had to go again to my paternal's family at Kemayoran. There were lots of family had arrived. It's time for giving some red packets to them. It's just like a market who trade the red packets. I had to give to the elder then the elder gave a red packet too to Fritz. So busy! :D

We stayed quite longer in Kemayoran, till almost 5 PM before in the end we had to go to the 3rd place, Ali's maternal's family at Citra 5. Again, the trader was happening again at this place, but it's not as much as before. :D

We decided to go home to our apartment as the next day we had to do a personal thing. Here's the red packets that Fritz got.

Fritz was enjoying his party time again. Full story here...

Keyla's 5th Birthday Party

Keyla's 5th Birthday Party

Fritz had an invitation again from Tante Dian's daughter, Kayla. She had celebrated her 5th birthday at Burger King MKG 5. This time, we went just two of us without Papa. Papa had worked to do with Tante Peggy.

As usual, Fritz was so enthusiast and more enthusiast when he knew that we went by angkot (public transportation). He couldn't wait to go. So we're the first person coming to this party. Actually, we're not so early, the clock was struck at 11 o'clock as the invitation said. :)

We're waiting quite so long before the party had begun. So I asked Fritz to have his lunch first. We're ordered the meal from the coupon. We had 2 fried chicken with rice and a soft drink. It's for adult menu actually. Then, I fed him with my meal. Ouuuhh...he gobbled all the rice and a piece of drumstick. :D

After he's done with the meal, one by one the groupies had arrived with their kids. Then the party had begun. Fritz joined with the party while I was gathering with the groupies. What a suicide sitting with these people. They always joked me that I always push Ali to work. LOL. Crazy groupies!!

On the other place, Fritz was so enjoying his party time. When I peeped him, he just finished joining Ice Cream race with 2 other boys. LOL. He's really a big boy now!

We're the last group sitting in that party as usual. Then, after that, it's just between I-Fritz with Thiya-Lona-Vidor who were the last stand out from the mall. We were going round and round together, buying a pair of shoes and having dinner together at Baji Pamai.

Finally we arrived at home at 8 PM. Vidor fam had delivered us safely to our apartment. Thanks for today, fellas.....^_^
