Pre-Nursery : Craft Letter Week [G-H-I-J]

Pre-Nursery : Craft Letter Week [G-H-I-J]
Fritz is currently 27 months 4 weeks

We spent this week for making some alphabet craft.

Craft
Letter G

*Giraffe*

Cut the yellow construction paper into a big letter G. Make two horns of giraffe and a face from orange construction paper. [the face was too small ^^]. I made some dots using origami paper. Fritz was so enthusiast pasting it.

Note: Fritz and I went to the nearest shop to buy the wiggle eyes and some stuffs for this weekly project. I was so happy that shop was so complete. Maybe, next time we can go there again to buy some projects stuffs. Actually, we did 3 activities in the same time; sunbathing in the morning to get the sunrise, walking for his gross motor and buying things. Whatta nice day!!

*Grass*
What a lovely green crepe paper. Fritz was so excited to paste it in the green construction paper. It's a grass in letter G!!

*Grapes*
Thumb prints grapes!! Fritz was so lovely when he did it. He even gave his thumb to me when I said we wanted to make some grapes using paint. Those were his thumb prints and I added some leaves in every bunches of grapes.

Letter H
*House*
Make a big letter H from blue construction paper and a big triangle from a white construction paper. Then, paste the white triangle as the ceiling of the house. To make the windows, I used light brown construction paper and cut it into a small windows. Don't forget to make the door! ^^

Fritz was so excited when doing it.

*Horse*

Using the brown construction paper, I made a lowercase of H. Then, I cut a little bit for the face of the horse with the brown construction paper. For the hair and tail, I cut white wool then Fritz pasted it on the neck of horse and behind it. The eye was the most his favorite part. He loves to paste the eye!

*Hand prints*

Firstly, he refused to do this project as he wasn't comfortable to be dirty. After few times of pleading ;P, he wanted to do it and it's a nice work!!

Letter I
*Iguana*
Cut the green construction paper into a big letter I. Made some parts of the iguana by using light green one. Cut into a half circle for the head, a tail and few spikes. Add two wiggle eyes and a tongue using a red origami paper.

*ice cream*

Making ice cream.....so yummy....just need a light brown construction paper and cut it into an "i" lowercase. For the ice cream, made it from the pink construction paper and put some white sprinkle from wool yarn

*Indonesia flag*

I'm going to introduce him with his country, Indonesia. I made this flag, Red and White.

Letter J
*Jug*

Made this jug from brown and orange construction paper. The brown one cut into a letter J and made a hand. Then, cut the orange into an orange juice. Very easy one! Fritz loved this jug so much!!

*Juice*

He was so into with this craft. It's very easy. Just made the letter "j" with white construction paper as a glass. Then I used the purple as grape juice. You can use another color to represent the juice. In the end, taped a straw to make it real.

Cooking
In the afternoon, we didn't have any food for Fritz to eat. Fritz asked me to make the crunchy things. Then, I've got an idea. I made the shrimp covered with flour and fried it. He's so willingly helped me though it's very messy everywhere. He was so proud of his work!! ^^

Learning Toys

Fritz accidentally found this Cars cards when we went to the traditional market nearby. It was only cost 5,000 rupiah. The most interesting one, he uses this cards as money to pay something in his imagination mind. ckckckckckckckkck.......^^

We played with dough and I gave him a plastic knife. He's trying to cut the dough in the correct position though he failed to make it nice. I made some figures with it. I made Pororo and friends as we're on watching it. Then, I made some numbers too and let him recognize more on it..

Miscellaneous

Playing with his Duplo and I made this guitar for him. Then, he pretended that he's singing with guitar in his hand. ^O^

Fun
We took him to play Lego together with others in one toys store in our nearby mall. He was so excited to play with these Lego. He could maintain himself to take turns and made his Lego together with others.

*Living World*
I was totally forgot to grab my pocket camera when we had some little fun in Living World.

We went there after we delivered some stuffs to one of buyers [she also gave me a stroller for Fritz ^^].

Fritz was looking so happily as we rarely had some this spending time again going to the malls. We went through the Toys Kingdom, taking more than half an hour to take tour around this store. He's looking lots of toys and he was so excited. They also entertained the visitors by their performance; drums bands and some clowns did some tricks. Fritz was really excited seeing them.

Then, we took a walk in the outdoor garden inside the mall. It's a very nice scene actually and I was so damn stupid not taking a camera.

In the end, we had a drink in Bakso Afung to enjoy their Es Nona. Sooo yummy!!

What a nice weekend, just three of us!! ^^

It's very simple but meant lots for me...

Alphabet : Jj

Theme : Ocean Animals

Pictures : Ocean Animals

I got it for 1+1+1 blog and she said that it was for Montessori time, matching the pictures. I think it was so nice for Fritz though he couldn't finish all the pictures in the short time. He got disturbed by the coming cat in front of the house. After he's done with the cat, he continued his work and he did very well. Good job!!

ABC's
Dough
We started this week by doing the dough of letter J. He was so enthusiast and wanna try it by himself. He always repeated many times that J was Opa's stick as he adores Opa so much ;)

Coloring Jellyfish
He preferred making circle to color the jelly fish. He made so many eyes around its head and said that was eyes again and again. ;p

Coloring J objects
Again, he refused to color it and it's looking so many blank spot here and there. :((

Paste J objects
He pasted all the objects all by himself and he's very neat!

Tracing Letter J

He tried to make the letter though he asked me to hold his hand.

Activities
*Sequencing the pictures*

I was so happy when he's so enthusiast doing this activity. He even could manage the pictures very well from small to big. He got the concept. He did all, the gluing and pasting, by himself. Proud of u boy! ^^

*Matching the Jellyfish*

We continued with matching and he still did it very enthusiast. He looked and matched the pictures, again, all by himself!! ^^

Tracing

He got bored with this {easy} lines so he made it with half willingness. SO, we couldn't see the lines, huh?

Color

WOW!! He could finish his coloring....He did it one by one and I was so happy when he's done with it. He usually refused to do the coloring part and sometimes it was stuck in the middle. So I was so surprised when he could finish it nicely. The most exciting part was when he knew that it looked like a stair after I folded it. ^^

Shape

He's getting great in recognizing the shape. When I gave this worksheet, he could finish it with a little bit helping hand from me {holding his hand, I mean ^__*}. However, he made the rest 2 lines by himself. Can u guess which one? ^^

Workbook : Concept

I didn't know what's going on with him when he did this worksheet. He seemed not really interest on it. When I asked him to color the shapes, he wanted to go away but I insisted him to finish it first so he could go after that. He did it with a bad shape face.....:(

In the end, he did it very nicely....finally......^^

Fine Motor Skills
*Coloring Fish*

And, I wasn't successful asking him to finish this fish. Actually it's a nice part for some kids but not for Fritz. He got bored already with the free coloring time. -___-'

*Drawing*

Recently, he likes to draw something in an used paper. He asks me to give him a paper and a pencil. Then, he's gonna make some circles inside it.

This pic actually was a coloring Octopus. He didn't want to color it with a color pencil. He asked me to give him a pencil then he colored it. After that, he turned the paper back and he made some circles. He even could draw a car, a big oval and 2 wheels.....but I couldn't take the moments as he drew some more circles on the top of "cars"....^^

Practical Life

He loves the sensation peeling the egg shells. He can peel it very nicely. This picture was showing him he was peeling the quail eggs but he just ate it a little bit then he left it. :(

He loves this activity, practicing his fine motor skills using tongs and transferred the beads using tongs to ice tray. He made it very neatly. He pretended that he was maintain the chickens in the right places. ^^

He's trying his best to cut the paper using the scissors but he still couldn't able to do it....^^

Miscellaneous

Suddenly, he got disturbed by the coming cat while we had a learning time in the morning. He got a little busy watching it. The cat was in the car park and it was busy with its 'toys'. It played like he played with ball yarn. It moved here and there and Fritz was quite satisfied by watching it only from behind the wire door. He took more half an hour to see the cat's playing before finally he continued his work again. It's very nice that we could learn from the unusual things around us. ^^

Fun : Playing with Calvin
He was happy when he could play with my new private students, Calvin.....though he just took a few minutes playing with this big bro, he was sooooo happy.....^^

Coloring I objects
He really shows improvement in coloring. He colored the pictures very nice. He also tried to recognize the things as he never learn ALL the things.

Math
Shape
*sorter*
He knocked on this shape sorter....I didn't get the idea why he did it......@__@

*puzzle*
He's getting expert in doing it....but sometimes he's not serious while he's doing with it....

Color
I had this print out few months ago. I once showed him but he didn't so interest in color before. Then, I tried again and he could answer the right color when I showed him the cards. However, we took several minutes to complete half of the cards as he's busy with his breakfast and he didn't get any concentration on it....

Workbook : #2
I think, he's getting bored already or maybe he's not ready yet for the worksheet. Every time I ask him to complete his work, he's always showing his refusal. Though he's able to do it, he showed uninteresting face. ~__~

Gross motor skills
We're practicing again his gross motor by asking him throwing the balls into his tub....He just made it for few minutes and he got bored already....~__~

Practical Life
Surprisingly, he wanted to finish the lacing frog board. He really tried his best to finish it though I still helped him a little bit. He never wanted to do it before, he always refused. That day, I was so surprised that he could stay till he's done.....GOOD JOB!!

Recently, he likes to follow what we do daily. This time, he's following my maid when she mopped the floor. He brought the pail and asked for the damp cloth. I gave him his used pants. He pretended that he's mopping the floor. Maybe u need him for this Lebaran??? Just call me ^__*

Workbook : Tracing Lines
He's getting good with tracing though he's always grumpy while doing it. ^^

Cooking

Eating pancake again after long...long....long time ago....

Before, he always refused it, maybe he's still too baby to munch this kind of food. And Monday morning, I tried to make it again with his help. He helped me to mix the eggs with the milk and flour. He was so enjoying the process [the mixing] and he also waited patiently till the pancake done for him. He loves it!! Yaaay, we did it!! {like Mater said}

Role Play
He loves Lego so much. This time, he pretends that he sold some snacks and I pretended to buy it by asking the color. When I said the color, he tried to give me the right one. Nice role plays!

Learning Toys

He can focus on this ABC foam mat puzzle very well. He finished mostly the letter in 10 minutes and he could stay in his chair nicely.

Miscellaneous

ooooh gosh.....he put his socks in his hands as gloves.

Recently, he really loves to play pretends. He always plays with his imagination. When Oma bought this socks, actually there were Mickey and Cars, he put it on his hands forward. I didn't know what he's imagine, but he loves it so much, both of them.

However, he learnt lots from it. He tried to put both of this socks in his hands without any help form me, he really tried hard firstly and very enthusiastically. Then, he was so proud when he did it. He gained his gross motor as well his imaginary. ^^

I just cleaned up my room and I found my blue piggy bank but it's not a piggy actually. As it's getting full already, I asked Oma to help me to get out all the coins inside. Fritz was so happy to see lots of coins. He helped Oma to count it but I thought he was disturbing Oma rather than helped her. HAHAHAHAHHAHA.....^^

Taking pictures with his "best friends" in bed......

Fun :
*Going to the bank and Eating Noddles*
Last time, when we went to Bobo Fair, Permata Bank held a program for kids. If we put our money there, we can choose the own theme debit card. There are Cars for boys and Princess for girls. Of course, Fritz was so happy when he got the Cars card.

3 days after the fair, we have to go to the bank to fulfill some stuffs there. However, they weren't ready for it. So, we went out and had our lunch right beside the bank.

Fritz was soooo happy that he knew he's going to eat noddles.....and he ate a lot all by himself....

He's really nice. He sat down nicely in his chair and finished the noddles. Good boy!

*Playing with Chloe*
Spending time with Chloe....

Her mom is my fave mom ever and I adore her so much. She is really such a wonder woman for me. I try to follow her path as a good mom for Fritz as she does to O'i.

She breastfed O'i till she's three now and still adores her breast so much. She's also a rational use medicine mom who never give any medicine for simple sicks such as fever, flu and cough. She always makes homemade meal for O'i and she's so creative in making her meal, an innovative mom.

She could maintain the things ALL by herself. She can do all the chores without any maid. She has a great home and it's very homey for kids to play. She has lots of toys too for O'i and Fritz was so happy playing there.

She teaches too in O'i school as kindergarten teacher. She put some posters in her around wall in her home for O'i to learn more about alphabet, numbers, shape, colors and many things.

She's a funny mom too who can entertain her child and sometimes being bullied by O'i with her innocent girl language.

How can I not adore this kind of mom!!! ^^
