Toddler : Happy Birthday, boy

Toddler : Happy Birthday, boy

He's now 2 years old.

In his 2 years old, I'm going to share some his abilities and routines he does daily. And the school days was off. *yay*

He LOVES reading books and magazine so much. He can treat all the books and magazines very nice. He's never torn those.

He starts wanna do something by himself. Like he did one day in the noon when he saw a water bottle that we've got it from Mom's friend. He successfully opened the lid and drank it carefully, all by himself.

He enjoys playing with elders. Sometimes I ask him to join with my classes. He likes to play with my students and sometimes he giggled a lot without any reasons. Love to hear it! He also likes to sit on the chair and get a pen then do scribbling.

He also likes to play with dough in his 2 years old. He always asks me to make Mickey Mouse from it. And in this pic, I asked him to do pouring the soft things from cup to cup.

The big day comes!!
25 March 2011

He turns 2 years today.

Turning 2!!!!

Turning 2!!!!

Time flies so fast and and it seemed that I just had born him to this world yesterday. Then, we just realized that he's now 2 years old today!!
There wasn't any celebration at all. We just spent the day as usual. I just pray for him lots. So many things I asked and thanked to HIM for everything HE has given to me. Praying for me too to be a better mom days by days as I'm not a perfect mom to be. I'm still learning lots of parenthood. I pray to be a wise mom, to be a patient mom and to be a great mom at least for him only.

Hopefully in his 2 years old, he will grow up as a healthy boy, rarely gets sick and be a smart boy. Has a wonderful childhood. Has a good attitude to others. Strong and brave. Calm and humble. And so many good things for him.

Me, as his mom, hopefully can fulfill what he needs. I can teach him all the best for him. Ready for his temper and emotional he's gonna show. So I really need lots of patience. ^^

Be a great mom for him is my dreaming that I believe every mom has the same dreaming as I wish.

Boy, I love u soooooo much.....be a proud of us, okay!!

Behind the story of this cake.

This cake was so small. I thought the diameter was only 15cm not more. I love it since I saw it for the first time at AJ Bakery, Kelapa Gading last week. At that time, we couldn't buy it as the day is still a week ahead. So I just ordered via phone a night before his birthday after I went home from my work. Thankfully, the bakery was okay for it. We could get it in the afternoon the next day, on his birthday.

There was a little tiny Lightning McQueen there. It looked so cute. Fritz also loved this cake so much. He admired this cake. He couldn't stop asking to open the cake and eat it.

We celebrated with 2 big candles that we usually use it for the black out. Fritz wasn't enjoying the blowing candles moment.

Joyful days!!!

Fun
*Swimming time*

It's a sunny day..It's the right time to go swimming.

I filled the float. He looked so excited. When I asked whether he wanted to swim, he said yes. So, I just let him playing with the float in the bed. He was so happy.

I prepared all the stuffs and decided Pop would join with him as I still have my period. Then we went to the pool at 2.30 noon. Hot day!! ^^

He refused to take off his shirt. So just let him using it. When he went in the float and he felt there's a water under his feet, suddenly he's crying. That was the time he's getting crying.

When Pop brought him to the middle of the pool, his crying was getting louder. Then, it's over. Swimming time was over and he didn't want to get in anymore.

We stayed for 1,5 hours asking him to swim and he still refused it. -__-"

He was really an extraordinary boy. I think he's the only boy who doesn't like swimming. HUHUHUHUHUHU........

*Playing with Koko*
After I finished with my private student class, Fritz and Pop picked me up. Fritz was so happily playing with these 2 big bro (Koko). They love to play with Fritz also. They had Cars cars and Toy Stories toys. Love to see them playing together.

*Living World*
After playing with 2 Koko, we went to Living World, a new mall near their house in Alam Sutera. We just walked around as there's not much to see. We just went to the stationary shop and a toy shop (Toy Kingdom). Fritz was excited when we've got there. Then I saw these animals in the side of their shop, big jungle creatures. Fritz was so afraid with them. Hahahaha...

*Visiting Popo*
We took a time visiting Popo (Mom from Pop's side). She looked so happy when seeing Fritz. He also showed friendly though we didn't meet each other for a long time. He easily attached with her.

We spent time by going to Carefour at MOI. We needed to buy some groceries for Fritz. We didn't take lot of time there as it was dark already. So we decided to get home.

In the middle of the way, we decided to see a birthday cake. We went through AJ Bakery and Home Made bakery. To be honest, we didn't have enough cash to spend for the cake. I think we're gonna buy the small cake for his b'day later.

Then, we bought our dinner at Aceh's. We ordered Fried Rice for Fritz. He didn't eat lot as he's getting poop after that.

It's quite much fun though just spent for few hours only. Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos.

Miscellaneous
*Sleeping on da Basket*

He starts to be active this week. One night, he saw this laundry basket under the bed and he asked me to put it on the bed. Firstly, he's scared to go in by himself and asked me to hold his hand. After few trials, he's finally brave doing go in and out all by himself. He did it again and again. Then, I put a pillow inside it and he pretended to sleep there.

*On the front Car*

One afternoon, he insisted to get out but the weather was so unfriendly. Then, I put him on the top of the front car. He stood up there and made some styles like these....love the pics so much!

Sunday School
He woke up so early in the Sunday morning. I decided to bring him to Sunday School.

He looked so enthusiast when we came. Few minutes after singing time, he chosed to get around. Then, we stopped by in one empty class where there use to as a kindergarten class. There's lot of toys there and he chosed to play with the blocks. He loves to play with it so much.
When it's time for the creativity, he refused to join with the class. He's still staying there and I was the one who took the creativity for him. *Fiuuuuh*

In the end, we moved to the church while the rest of the children were still staying in the school. He ran away!

Fun : Playing in the Mall
He insisted to play with the remote control's car. We have to pay 10,000rupiah for a short round. For me it's quite expensive cry But he looked so fun with it. It's paid!

He looked so sleepy when I decided to move to the free playground in ACE hardware. They prepare a little space for children to play with the slide. Fritz looked so enthusiast. He LOVES playing with the slide. He went up and down by him and I just stood there watching him.

When I asked him to stop and said it's time to go home, he was so angry. Really a big angry from him. He shouted loudly. He showed his emotion already. And it's a big job for me to help him control his emotion in the public area. What a big job!

The Power of the Dream by Celine Dion

The Power of the Dream by Celine Dion
Deep within each heart
There lies a magic spark
That lights the fire of our imagination
And since the dawn of man
The strength of just "I can"
Has brought together people of all nations

There’s nothing ordinary
In the living of each day
There’s a special part
Every one of us will play

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
As the world gives us its best
To stand apart from all the rest
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

Your mind will take you far
The rest is just pure heart
You’ll find your fate is all your own creation
Every boy and girl
As they come into this world
They bring the gift of hope and inspiration

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

There’s so much strength in all of us
Every woman child and man
It’s the moment that you think you can’t
You’ll discover that you can

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
The world unites in hope and peace
We pray that it will always be
It is the power of the dream that brings us

The power of the dream
The faith in things unseen
The courage to embrace your fear
No matter where you are
To reach for your own star
To realize the power of the dream
To realize the power of the dream

Reading Book : Transportation Vocabularies

I started by Barney's books and Spot. Then I just remembered that I had this vocabulary book. I took it and I mentioned the things followed by Fritz. So far, he can mention some of the vocab there.

Practical Life
*Buttoning*

He's so into with button. Every time he sees someone wearing a shirt with buttons, he will announce "buttons...buttons"

When I gave this to him, he made a little improvement. He did with a lil help from me.

Learning Toys
*Car Riding Toys*

Now, he is able to move this car using his feet as before he was too lazy to move it. He can move here and there by himself. Going up and down too!

*Cars Toys*

He enjoyed himself playing role play using these cars. This red car is his favorite one.

*Alphabet Mat*

Yaaaaay!!

He improves his Alphabets...and he enjoyed himself placing these alphabets into the mat.

*Trains*
He's got this toy when he was having his 1st b'day. I put it in the box and he found it. He insisted to get it out and wanted to play with it. He loves the vehicles things. He called this train "Thomas" as in Thomas and Friends. Everything bout trains is Thomas. ^^

*Remote Control Cars*

Then he found this toy also in his undercover presents box, the remote control car. Of course it's not suit for him as he's too young for it. Again, he insisted to play with it. When the car went under the chair or it's far away from his eyes, he took it and made it near. So what's the functions of the remote?? >,<

Gross Motor : Up and Down
He's up...
He's down..
Going up..
Going down...

Then, I gave up watching him!
