Dwarfz : Andri's wed

Depok..

Another Dwarfz member was getting married...*Yay*

And she is Andri, the calm girl in the club. She is married with Sigit, the boy who never we know the gossip ;p

Both of them were married near their area which was so far far away from our house.

I went there with Indah Puspita after finishing my private tutor at Alam Sutera.

The wedding was so Javanese as both are Javanese. They were wearing Javanese costume and they looked so gorgeous in the wedding dress.

Though the venue was so far, Andri and Sigit greeted us with her charm smile and thanked that we're attending her wed. That's what friend for....as u always did to us, Dri...

Practical Life
*Wearing his own pants*

After the wedding party, he wanted to wear his pants by him. He is able to do it by himself actually. He has done it before as he always put on & off mostly after peeing. He showed it to Oma that he can do it. Oma was so surprised!

*Bottle, Box and Straw*
He looked inside his drawer and found a bottle filled with chopsticks and straws. Then he took again the box that I had made some holes around it.

First he took out the straws and put it through the holes in the box. He just put for 1 to 2 straws only.

After a while he got bored and he moved the bottle. He asked me to open the lid so he could take all the chopsticks and straws out. Then he put those again one by one.

*Transferring big wooden beads*

He did this activity more than ten minutes. He transferred from one bowl to other bowl. He did it more than 3 times. I'm so happy to see that he can be more focus on his work now!

*Using Tweezer*

This was an extension from previous activity. I gave him tongs and taught him how to do it. He's lil bit confuse but he wanted to try more and more. He likes this activity though he's unsuccessfully using the tongs.

*Pouring big wooden beads*

He continued again the activity by using the plastic glass. He poured the big wooden beads. He can do it nicely!

*A bucket of veggie and fruit toys*

Fritz has a new toy, a bucket of veggie and fruits. There are a corn, a carrot, 2 eggs, a paprika, an eggplant, a bitter-gourd, a lemon, an orange, a bunch of grape, a tomato, a hand soap bottle, a box of milk and a box of iron supply drink (Ponari Sweat

)

We combine this toy with the dining set tools. So we pretended we're cooking something.

*Macaroni for breakfast*

On Saturday morning, I really had no idea for Fritz's breakfast. I just made this macaroni and let him eating by himself. FYI, he didn't finish it....

Pop and Fritz was having a man's talking...

*Watching Cars day and night*

Cars....cars....and cars.....

He's really CRAZY about Cars movie. He always asks to watch it more and more again. In the morning, day as well as in the night before sleeping.

*His 1st bitting food by own*

This is a difficult thing for Fritz, biting food with his front teeth. Most children have this ability few months ago and Fritz is able doing it this week. What a big surprise!

*Sitting in the car seat*

This time, he sit down on his beloved car seat while watching TV.

Usually we put it inside the car while I'm the one who's driving or when I have private tutor and Pop has to drive only both of them. In other words, if there is no one accompany the driver, we will put him inside it.

*Eating an ice cream*

During lunch time, I usually turn on the TV cable. At that time, Dibo was in the scene and Ello was asking for ice cream. Then, can you guest what happen next?

Yup....he asked for an ice cream. He sit down nicely in the floor and insisted to spoon himself. While he spooned the ice cream, I also spooned him his meal.

So he ate his lunch together with his dessert.......

*Attending a birthday party*

One of Fritz's friend, Isabelle Celine had celebrated her birthday in Bakmi GM, Puri Mall. (We didn't take any photo there

)

Before we attending the party, Fritz spent the time by playing slide in Index. He really loved playing there though he had to face some big boys n girls around him. He climbed up and went down by himself. He really maintained his physic time.

He didn't feel any enjoy in the party, so we just took the meal and went to Carefour beside. And Fritz showed his happiness in Carefour.

*Going with Popo*

We visited Popo, Poppa's mom. Then she asked us to accompany her to Lottemart, retail supermarket. She has been 3 months more less not seeing Fritz. She has just known that Fritz is able to speak out now.

He can pronounce "popo" now. He also wanted to be handing by his Popo. He really made me proud as his mom!!

Going to Physician Nutrition

Fritz, Fritz-morphoses

Yesterday morning, we were in the rush going to Bunda Hospital, Menteng to avoid the hectic traffic in Jakarta. We were out from house at 6 AM.

We have an appointment with one of Physician Nutrition, Dr Widodo.

We arrived almost 7 AM. I asked Ali going inside in order to fulfill the registration sheet. As this doctor was so famous in handling some children allergic and gaining children weight, many parents visit this doctor. We need to be hurried and willing to wait for long long time to see him.

At last, I was the one who filled the regist sheet coz Ali came back again and asked me to do . When I put Fritz's medical record book in the table, I thought I've got the 4th turn. Unluckily, we were the 7th turn.

We waited and waited till the nurse came to measure Fritz's weight and height. He is 10,2 kg and 81 cm. The clock was 8.15 AM

Waiting.....

To kill the boredom, I asked Fritz walking around the hospital. We went up the stairs, counting how many stairs we went through, went down again, then we went to the cafeteria and the last I asked Fritz to find where Pop put the car. What a boring activity when we have to wait in the doctor!

9.00 AM
The doctor was still not yet coming....

9.30 AM
Yup...the doctor was coming. He walked rush to his room while his hand was handing his smart phone.

We've got the 5th turn finally. We entered his room at 10.30.

When we arrived, some impolite impression came nearby. The doctor was too busy with his smart phone. He didn't show any good greeting.

Then he asked us what the problem was. I was trying to explain what we worried about with Fritz. (And he was still busy with the phone in hand

)

He checked all he needed to check. He checked his body, hand and feet, eyes, ears and also the mouth.

And here was the result:

Fritz was having indigestion. So no wonder he pooped badly. Some days he poops for 2-3 times daily and some days he couldn't poop for few days. He also couldn't sleep well in the night.

And no wonder his weight raised up slowly. Actually he was not really too allergic cause he still shows his active movement. He just need to catch up his less weight by doing some diet. For his age, he must be 11,5 kg. Therefore, he didn't want to eat lot as he didn't eat the suit food for him.

The doctor gave us the list of food that we have to avoid and what we have to give. He also gave us some medicine concoction for Fritz to be drunk every day for 10 days, twice a day. And an ointment to be applied in his skin.

Fritz is just consuming some basic and step one list and he really can't eat the food that he really loves. So I'm busy to control what he's going to eat. I have to make some menus for him.

Hopefully, we will have a good result for his weight next month. We have to do this for a month to see the result. The doctor said, if we do all the rules, he will gain for 800gr later. Let's we see, can I do all this or not?!

Finally, one of Dwarfz has getting married, Emillia.

When we arrived, Fritz has shown his unlikeliness being there. He asked me carrying him along the party.

I met my very best friend, Indah Kriessanty. She looked so gorgeous with a black tank top dress. She was coming with his new man, Choky. Hopefully this is the last man standing in her heart. *cross the finger*

Then I met some Dwarfz...

There were Inpuz and her beloved man, Dicky. We met when Emil & Wono were going inside the ballroom. I love this couple. Both are fun!

After had some chit chat with InKris, I met my other friends, Dinna and Anton. I didn't really talk much with them.

Andri, the next week bride, also came to the party. She came with her going to be husband, Sigit. What a lovely couple! They really looked so match...

Mandha came late coz of traffic jam and she was coming from Serang. She came with her mom and Vei, her daughter. Vei looked so pretty and charm. She was so cheerful and she came nearby to Fritz that has crying along the party....phiuuuuf....

ABC : Coloring Hh

He's back to normal...he wanted to color with crayons....yaaaaaay....

But he still doesn't really into with ABC....he just like coloring!

Shape : Star

This week, we learned about star. I gave him a star marker from crayola mini stamper that I had it since junior high school. He looked so into it. He wanted to stamp it after I showed him how to do.

The next thing was he got all the markers out from the box and he stamped himself! It looked like a tattoo. Proudly he showed it to Opa and Uncle....LOL

Lapbook : Coloring pages of My Body

Another lapbook...it's about My Body.

And for the first one, I prepared some coloring pages for Fritz. I took the pictures from here.
I asked him to color the small version one. While he did it, I asked him to point. "Where's your eye?" in English...and he can do it...

Practical Life
*Playing with stickers*

Finally, I found the sticker album for Fritz. I've got the Mickey's baby one and I bought it at PaperClip, Emporium Pluit for only 8.300 rupiah. Quite cheap!

The purpose is to let him stick in and out as long as he likes. He can stick in the sticker album without being afraid he couldn't stick out. Coz, he likes to stick in a moment and the next he took it out again.

Can u imagine if he stack it in the board or paper which is very difficult to take it out again?

So we started the week by playing the stickers. Of course, Cars is the most wanted. Then we continued by pasting Mickey's babies.

What a great activity!

*Sorting the clothes*

I think sorting the clothes is one of another practical life area.

Actually, I was the one who sort the clothes of three of us. And I asked Fritz whose clothes I was holding on. Mostly, he can answer correctly.

"Whose shirt is it?"
"Momma.."

"Whose pants is it?"
"Poppa.."

"How bout this, Fritz?
I showed him the bra
"Momma..."

We never realized that he memorized what we worn in his lil brain. So brilliant!

*Transferring Macaroni*

I gave him 2 similar glasses with lid, bonuses from candies we bought. With a bottle of macaroni inside.

I showed him how to transfer from one glass to other glass, he didn't show any enthusiast on them. He did what he liked, took some macaroni from one glass and he put on the other glass then he transferred again to the full glass of macaroni.

He continued by took some and put into the bottle. Then he got bored after that. He made those messy around!

Learning Toys
*Dining Set Toys*

Pop bought the dining set toys near his shop on Friday that I really wanted for so long. We got playing with it on Saturday morning.

I know, some people must be raise their eyebrow. Am I nuts giving this kind of girly toys to him?? I believe every kind of toys has their own purpose. And this toys also.

We learn to know some tools in the kitchen through this toys. Kid also can learn how to cook something, prepare the meal, and so on.

So for me, there's nothing too girlish toys or too boyish toys for kids. They learn through toys! ^^

*Dough*

We continued the day by playing with dough...and it's really fun. I made a mickey's head and an elephant with its trunk and big ears. He started to play with it by make it into pieces. Nice progress!

*Hypermart Catalog*

We can learn lots of things from a supermarket catalog as they put many pictures of their things there.

Fritz also learn to recognize some things from a catalog. I showed him the pictures. In the next, I asked him to find the pictures. So far, a catalog is one of our media to improve his vocabularies. Great things!

Movie : Mickey Mouse - Rainbow series

He got back to his routines, watching his Mickey Mouse's movie. This week he chose the rainbow series. He can sit down and watch till the end of the story.

*Eating Krupuk*

Another his fave....eating krupuk...by himself!!!

*Following Opa to his room*

After having lunch, usually, Opa is going up to his room for taking a nap. And, Fritz always asks us to accompany him going up to Opa's room. As he is able going up by himself, he decided to climb up by him following right behind his beloved Opa.....

*Cutting the nails by Oma*

Oma is cutting Fritz's nails and toes.....

*Eating Nuts*

After taking his lunch, he asked me to get "ca-ca (ng)" means "kacang" (nuts). When it's finished, he asked for more...oh no no no no!!!

He really loves to eat something crunchy and its one of his fave snacks. Others are "kuk" (krupuk) and "koko" (Koko Crunch). Every cereal he will say it as "koko" though it's not Koko Crunch....

*Mirroring*

Again and again!!

He loves to see himself in the mirror. He made some gestures in front of it. And I LOVES to see him doing this...another his creativity skill...mirroring!!

Another his activities in the afternoon, drinking mung beans that Pop has given to me....so love it!!

Friday afternoon, I planned to play in one of Fritz's friend, Phael, in Semanan, next to Kosambi residential complex. We went there after Fritz has his nap. So when he woke up, we're going away.

When we arrived, Phael hasn't had his nap that afternoon.

Fritz decided to play with the car toys, his fave toys. Then the incident appeared. Phael and Fritz couldn't share the toys together. So when Phael took the toys, Fritz was crying loud. And Phael did it again and again purposely.

Moms decided to play in the park. We planned to play ball. Suddenly, Fritz refused to get down from the Doraemon bicycle. Phael played alone in the park with his mom while Fritz was busy with the bike. He stayed in the bike for almost 1 hour!

I think, I really have to maintain his social-emotional side. He can't control his emotional when someone took his not belonging toys and he also can't share the toys by crying or insisting to stay with that toys. He has to know how to take turns. He really needs to be socialized with friends and it's my big job!
Other thing is I less pay attention on his gross motor skills as he is a calm boy actually. He doesn't really like something actively play such as running, walking, crawling, jumping or sliding may be, do something with his body!

So I really have a big - big job to do for him....
