Farewell Indah

Farewell Indah
This week was really a heavy week for me. Starting on Wednesday, I and the whole of my family were waiting for the results of my dad's kidney. That afternoon, my mom was accompanied by my brother seeing the doctor to hear the results. Thankfully, the results was perfectly good to be heard. There's nothing to be worried anymore about my dad's kidney. However, he still needs to maintain for what he consumes daily. Of course, he has to check up his condition for next 6 months. I hope there's nothing bad news anymore *finger cross*

Then on Thursday, I had a meeting with Alpha, my 10 years work field. The owner said that she and 3 of their partnership decided to stop the operational of Alpha because of they didn't afford to rent the place anymore. I and the other 3 teachers who love this place than we thought wanted to help them. It took 4 hours meeting in the middle of the heavy rain and we couldn't get home till 8 PM. Finally we had great idea to run this place again. Hopefully we're able to be their partner in the next year. I hope so. What a great news for us!

Today, Friday, I had to meet up with my very very best friend ever, Indah, for her farewell before she and her hubby and also Calia finally went away to England to live with her hubby's family. Honestly, I was so sad when I knew it few months ago. So, I tried my best to spend a day with her today before she was really going away from Indonesia for maybe 2 years ahead.

I went to Indah's house after I delivered my mom to work. I arrived there almost at 10 AM. The way to her house was terribly sucks. Many ways were closed as the bridge was under renovation. It took more than half an hour to get to her house. It supposed to be 10 minutes to get her house from my mom's office.

She called me before that she wanted to spend today with me. She wanted to have lunch and went to the mall with us. She asked me whether I could or not. Actually I had my last classes today at Alpha and also my farewell with Maverick, my best students. Then I texted my owner to cancel my class. Thankfully she understood it.

So here we were, at Indah's house. She prepared noodles for us as breakfast. Then she had to manage some stuffs before she's going. She had to change the plan. She told me that she would go on Tuesday, 17th June to Singapore, having farewell with her grandpa and grandma before she's straightly flying to England on Wednesday, 25th June. So I was so lucky that I met her today. She didn't have any free day anymore except today. She spent it with me. I was so thankful!!

This morning was really so busy. She had to do many things before we're finally going out from her house. It's Calia with her watermelon. Look at her cute face.

I'm gonna miss this moment! Calia played with Fritz. We're gonna meet again in the next 2 or 3 years and both will gonna be older than today. Will Calia still remember this moment with Fritz? *sweet*

We had private lunch together at Telaga Sampireun Ancol. Indah treated me that she said it's gonna be her last day in Jakarta so let her treated me. OMG! I'm gonna miss her so much. I'm gonna miss her phone in the night to hear our problems, giving advice or just chit chat unnecessary things.

Though we're never going to the mall or spending days together just like best friends do, for sure, she's my person. She knows me best than everyone. Our friendship is just like Christina Yang and Meredith Grey in Grey's Anatomy, my fave drama series. LOL.

I believe that a best friend is a person who not always be next to us physically. For sure, she is always there to support and cheer me up though it's gonna be thousands kilometers far apart.

I was so thankful for what you did today, dear.

It's us. Just a simple friendship we have since our first day in college. We've never thought that we're gonna be a best friend but time unites us to be. We've never spent girls time together as best friends do but I believe that our friendship is gonna be ever lasting. God bless your days, Indah and also your family. Until we meet again in the next 2 or 3 years ahead whether I'll go to catch you or you'll be back here to Indonesia.

I love you, my dear...^_^

My Dad's Kidney

My Dad's Kidney
I don't know what God's plan is with my life. Few weeks ago in Saturday, I'd heard from my mom that my dad's pee was bleeding, not much but it contained blood in his pee. I asked my mom why she didn't ask him to hospital or call a doctor for this situation. As it's Saturday, we {in Jakarta, Indonesia} couldn't have any specialist doctor. I didn't find any frightened from my brother or my mom with this situation. I think it was a serious problem.

That night, I was looking for information about it. I tried to talk with 2 doctors, friends of mine and Ali - Mba Sylvia and Yossy, to get a little information about this problem. I called Yossy and she thought it might be a stone in my dad's kidney while Mba Syl said it might be a tumor in our conversation that night in her inbox via Facebook. Oh my!

On Monday, my dad was going to Mayapada Hospital to see an internist doctor with my mom and brother. The doctor sent him to go to the Urologist doctor to find out what happen with him. The Urologist asked him to have an X-ray that Saturday. As the doctor said that my dad had to empty his stomach a night before, he preferred to stay in a hospital. The next day when I arrived to see my dad's having an X-ray, my mom said that one of his kidney was in a poor condition. She got the information from the X-ray's person. :(

We had the bad news that afternoon. From the X-ray we couldn't see his right kidney clearly. The doctor even couldn't explain what it was. He suggested we had Cystoscopy for my dad. He also suggested us to find another opinions from other specialist doctor before we decided to have it. He gave my dad some medicine to stop the bleeding. I knew the medicine itself wouldn't be forever, we should find the solution for my dad's problem.

I was a bit disappointed when I saw my mom and my brother didn't put this problem as a serious thing for my dad's condition. They always gave lack of money as their main point reason to fix my dad. That week was first time I couldn't sleep well and also a week for my birthday.

What a terrible birthday ever in my life I think. My dad was very angry to me when I asked him to walk to the dining table that Tuesday {22nd April}. He refused to walk when he was going to have his lunch. I insisted him to walk. He finally wanted to walk and had his lunch in the dining table with his grumpy face. As I made him lowering his pride, he asked me out from his house for not being an obey daughter for her. He asked me not to stay at his house anymore.

He didn't get the point of my reason asking him to walk, that's not even 20 steps. I believe he said to mom that I was a cruel daughter and that's being the perception of my lovely family {my dad, mom and brother} about me. I asked so because he always gets what he wants. Every morning he gets his breakfast in his bed. Then for lunch, he asks my brother to get it for him and he eats in his bed, again. He even doesn't want to try to move his body. He walks only in the afternoon after having nap while I'm away for working. It's bad actually for his body. That's the reason why I always insist him to walk. Am I bad seriously?

My dad is having stroke for his left parts almost 14 years. We always try to get what he needs. The bad thing is he doesn't want to be controlled by others. We have to follow his 'rules' - having meals in bed, eating everything he wants, refusing to eat healthy food, sleeping lately till 2 AM, not moving his joints and many more. If not, he will get angry. My mom and brother always grants his wants, but not with me. So no wonder I become the bad person in this house. :D

He's healthy enough actually. He still has good memory to remember the telephone numbers, the streets and many more. Badly, he's a bit lazy and prefer comfort for himself. I believe it's all the accumulative of his rules.

That week became a terrible birthday ever for me. I couldn't sleep well while my dad's having problems with his kidney as well as asking me out from his house.

I asked my mom to call his 11 siblings to announce about his healthiness. Before, she refused to tell them and I didn't get it. Finally she wanted. When his siblings knew about it, one of my aunt brought him to other hospital. He got a CT scan to know more about his kidney. Few days after that we had the result. There's a mass diameter 6 cm in his right kidney. The doctor even couldn't said it's a tumor or what. He referenced his Urologist to know more, again! Honestly, I really hate with the health institution in Indonesia. They will make us confuse with our health problems.

Before we faced this problem, I've got sign. Few times I found out blood vaguely after I finished my pee when I wanted to flush it. Other sign was during a week before my dad got his X-ray. I met my student's maid who was coming to my work field that afternoon. I hardly recognized this woman as she's darker than before. I finally knew her and she said that she's having failure kidneys. She came with her husband. She became skinny and all of her body was dark.

I really don't know what His plan to my family. The one that I know, I try to surrender and let Him do the rest for my dad. I hope He still wants to give us ways out from every problems we face. There's nothing impossible in Him. Pray the best for my Dad, Lord! Strength him and also us....

Writing
On Monday, Fritz and I were having a bit fun together. I asked Fritz to read and write some words that we passed the paper through the hole under the door. Fritz locked the door from inside while I stayed outside. Papa was sleeping inside our bedroom.

Miscellaneous
Papa's car got a flat tire when he parked his car in our apartment's parking lot. So we accompanied him to the nearby gas statition to fix the tire. Fritz was so excited seeing the man fixing and installing the car tire. It's just like he'd seen on Cars movie. LOL

While Papa and Fritz were starving...boys!

Fun
This Saturday, Papa attended his high school reunion. As Papa was going to boy environment school, Canisius College (CC), we {the wivey} preferred to go to the mall with the kids. We went to Grand Indonesia. These two buddies were having their time together.

They played at Fun World and it's gonna be Fritz's first experience playing the up and down ride {don't know the name}. He was so brave. Then we spent almost an hour playing at Fun World.

They supposed to cycle but in fact Fritz wasn't strong enough and Lona couldn't reach the pedal. LOL

Having ice cream together

My 31st Birthday

My 31st Birthday
I was in a bad mood on my birthday this year.

I think if I was in another place today, I might be in a happy mood on. I was surrounded by lots of lovely friends who remembered my birthday and they're greeted me endlessly. {though I knew some people weren't so fall in love with me :D}

The fact; I was here, facing three people who didn't like me most. I have to stay in this place for I don't know how long more. They always have judgement about me that I'm selfish and so on. If I can scream loud!!

Thankfully I have 2 most lovable person in my life: my hubby and my boy. Thanks for having you, guys. Thanks for the simple cake you gave me, love....

My treat for myself ^_*

My treat for Ali :9

My simple cake from my hubby and boy

I hope next year we're in our place when celebrating my birthday. I wish....

Easter
Our Easter learning in this week. Only had 3 pictures captured. We had fun with some worksheets related to Easter.

Every year we went to Atma Jaya, our campus, to see the drama of the Passion of Christ before Good Friday Mass. I was quite amazed with their performance this year. Fritz was totally excited to watch it in the first row.

The 14 stage of Christ's Passion:

First scene

1. Jesus condemned to death

2. Jesus was given his cross.

3. Jesus met his mother

4. Jesus fell for the first time

5. Simon of Cyrene carried the cross

6. Veronica wiped the face of Jesus

7. Jesus fell the second time

8. Jesus met the daughters of Jerusalem

9. Jesus fell the third time

10. Jesus was stripped of His garments

11. Crucifixion: Jesus was nailed to the cross

12. Jesus died on the cross

His mother came to see Him nailed on the cross

The guard believed that He's the King

13. Jesus's body was removed from the cross

14. Jesus was laid in the tomb and covered in incense

Science
I found a caterpillar in cauliflower's leaves when prepared my dishes few days ago. Then it's going to change into a pupa soon. However it failed to be a pupa after I saved it from ants. It died. :(

Miscellaneous
His enthusiasm in car is very big. This Monday, we accompanied Papa to a service station to change his car's oil. This was his first time seeing how the car was being changed its oil that he usually saw in his fave movie, Cars. He said that Papa's car peed like Mater did. Look how seriously his face looking the man changed the oil.

He always does some silly things at home. One of other his silly things was putting my helmet into his head. LOL
