Lunch Time, 1 o'clock

I just have time to post this blog. I had to struggle with myself to face Fritz's lost appetite for these current weeks.
*sigh*
However, I wanna share a moment of one of Daddy's best friend's son.

Rafael, Fritz's partner in crime soon in the future, was having his 1st birthday in one of favorite spot of his parents, Don and Davi.

They purposely came back to Jakarta to celebrate their son's birthday and invited the whole gangs to come to the party and hang out together there.

We really had some much fun there. With a present in hand, we came on time but the party wasn't going soon. So we waited for the rest and had some chit chat with their both parents and the coming friends.

The real party was on half an hour after that. With mostly are under the years, the MC was a little bit confusing with the games held. So she just did some easy games and sing some songs. Only Daddies and Mommies were involving to the party..Hehehehe....

However, we really had a happy time there. We gathered and had chit chatted with our friends. The time is really going so fast...we grew up and had a little family with a wife or a husband beside and a baby and child completing.
What a life!! ;p

Almost 2 weeks, Fritz doesn't want to eat his meals again and just eats for mostly 2 - 5 spoons only in every dish.

I didn't get any idea again why it's coming to him. Every night I've got a headache to think what I should cook for him in the next day. So, I'm trying to give more than usual in the small portion.

Here some the food contains lots of carbohydrate I always stand by: avocados, mashed potatoes with butter and cheese and some veggie plus meat or chicken or fish (sometimes I made it like a ball, so it's easy for him to eat), and bread of course (his most favorite food)

My assumptions:
1. There are 3 teeth are coming out and probably it causes him feeling unwell with this condition. Though he is still okay (no fever), I think it's still more or less influenced his appetite.

2. He tasted the sinful food so he doesn't want to eat the bitter one anymore.

3. Recently, I notice that he doesn't wanna eat with spoon and prefer using my fingers to spoon. So I decided to give the food with my fingers and he still couldn't finish his meal.

4 or..because of his meal time isn't on the proper time anymore. I have a new job now and I must ask him together with me. And sometime isn't proper for Fritz. The lunch time and nap time are not in the suitable time and sometime it makes him a little bit tired. What should I do? Should I choose which one I prefer whether my son or money instead?

So...what's wrong with him??
It's still on my investigation....hopefully this will be ended soon!!
*sigh*

In his 10th months old, he really shows lots of progress especially his gross motor skills.

Here there are:
- understand how to touch his own head when we ask to do it. I realized it on 2nd January during his meal time in the day. When we went to visit Lona, he can show it in front of Vidor's whole family. How proud we are! ;p

- able to click his tongue...as like calling the doggy or cat

- move his hands like a traditional dancing...usually we called "na-ning-kung-ni-nang-ning-kung" then he moves his hands.

- able to clap his hands starting on 13th January...uuuhhh....I'm so happy with it....;)
and he will clap his hands when he's hearing a birthday song

- able to stand still for a few moment in front of a thing.

- able to sit down and can balance his body to not fall back though sometimes he falls back if he is tired or bored.

- prefer play to take a nap. He just takes a nap half to an hour only. Now he likes to play outside rather than inside the room. He enjoys playing with the whole of family now.

-Opa's big fans! whatever Opa's doing, he always pays lots attention to him...ck..ck...how he's walking with the stick and wiping the face with the towel. He adores the Opa's stick, the Opa's eyeglasses, the Opa's shoes, the Opa's chair...and the last the Opa's glasses and he successfully broke it down in one afternoon when my maid put it in like usual in the wooden small chair ...*sigh*

- more talkative and produces lots of vocab..."atatatata","acacacaca","ananananana","amamama","papah","nggaakk","mbaaaaaa"

- scream with funny mimic..."aaaaaaaahhhhh"

- bad separation anxiety! even for a moment...such as when I just got to pee, got to cook for him and simple things to do...arrrggghhhhh....

- still advertisement addict...and his fave's ads are increasing every day.

- learn to walk with hands' help and already buy moon walker to help him later

- eat many kinds of sinful food...such as bread (the most fave's one), rice, cake

- start crawling on the bed and still needs practice in the mat...ciayoooo!!

- prefer pen to toys...haaa....what a good boy!!

- he will be such a nice and sweet boy with someone else, he will give his best smile and be a calm boy with the foreigner...but at home...he is what he is....

Invest for the future..

Actually, I ever heard about it a long time before from one of my friend in my work. Then, my mom also ever introduced this one a few weeks after Fritz was born. I thought it wasn't the time to think about this kind of thing. So I just forgot it.

Now, when I saw it in the aisle of one mall in the South of Jakarta, I think I should reconsider it again. It will be a good investment for Fritz. I wanna teach him through books. Even the age won't suitable enough for Fritz, I think I can give him later.

His appetite this month is getting better. Now, he can eat well on his high chair or even on his baby walker. He can sit nicely on his chair until his meal was finished.

This picture has taken after he finished his meal in the one afternoon. He wanted to explore with his meal and...tadaaaa...it was so messy on the table and of course on his shirt and his face. He rubbed his face with his dirty hands and also into his shirt.

My hubby's cousin had given us a baby walker. I didn't think I wanna use it for Fritz according so many contras in using it for a baby. Even Fritz's doctor said so.

Anyway, this month, Fritz is so active. He likes to explore everything. I think I really need something to provide his activity now.

The baby walker itself has just put on the corner since it had been given. So...hmmm...I decided to use it for Fritz.

Honestly, it made me confuse with the pro-contra of using it. As I know, so many parents in the past used it for their baby and so far (that I know) it didn't harmful or something else. It was really so helpful for the babies in the past and every family (believe me!) had it for helping their babies to walk.

The contras said that baby walker was so harmful for the babies. It can make some accidents while using it. The others issues said that the babies, actually, didn't walk much, they were sliding with it. So it wasn't helpful much for baby nowadays.

However, I still use it for Fritz. Forgetting the contras, it is really helpful for me if I wanna do something (cooking, taking a bath or else). Then, the fact is Fritz can walk well and his gross motor skill develops so fast this month. I don't know whether because he uses the baby walker or not, but for me it's useful.... ;)

A baby is a perfect imitator...

Fritz likes to see me in front of my compy to write or to search something.
And sometimes, I ask him to sit together with me when he was cranky or couldn't be left even for a single moment.

Then, he puts his curiosity on the keyboard.
tick...tack...tick...tack...

Sometimes, he doesn't allow me to put my fingers on it, and he wants to try it by himself
I ever gave him an opportunity to do it and he liked it
and I ever gave his daddy's notebook and he successfully turned out one of the toggles...;p

One day, I gave him my used keyboard to be played by him
He loves it much!!

Fritz has another friends again..

On 24th December 2009, our friend's little angel named Lona has came to the world...She is a beautiful girl of daddy Vidor and mommy Tia..a morning day before X'mas.

I think a new year has changed lots of things in my life. After little shocking with Fritz's many abilities in this year, now, I have a new surprise again.

Almost 19th months I didn't get it, today when I was bathing, I felt uncomfort in my uterus..then I checked and.....yup...I got my first period!!

I should admit it, I don't expect so much and honestly, I don't like it. I prefer not to get it. I just feel uncomfort with it.

Hmmm...no wonder for these few day, my hormone was up and down like roller coaster.

Like this morning, I've gotten angry with my maid with a silly question. "Which macaroni should I boil? The cooked ones or the uncooked ones?"
*sigh*

Another thing was my back felt so hurt...I thought I got backache

Anyway, I should face it right, and should be more carefully.

Don't be too close with my hubby, unless we want another one more...*hah*

I'm going to make some plans for myself in this year and hopefully it will be work...If not, there will be coming years again, right! ^-*

Starting with myself..
- I'm going to be outfit nicely and look fresh when going out. Trying to make up my face again and smile of course.
- A housewife as same as a dull for some people think. For me not, so I need to gain my brain with lots of information.
- Don't sweat for small things. I always be...
- Being positive and optimist person.
- Need to talk more with God and honestly, I forgot Him a lot last year. Going to church and praying to Him!
- Introducing Fritz with his God by taking him to Sunday School this year.
- Daily things: drink water lots, milk for my bone, vitamin and traditional herb, and eat a healthy food more
- Monthly things: I really need Salon-time, read novel and magazine and watch movie.

Photography
Recently, I love this very much. I think this year I'm going to learn more about it. How to take a picture...How to use Adobe to make a nice picture...and make some scrapbooks...

Working
This year, I start my first month by coming back to my previous job as a part time teacher. I just take 2 days only with 2 classes each. And it will be more later on June. Hopefully, Fritz can be with me always.

Cooking
Hmm...this one also my new hobby. Actually, I love cooking after I got married. I wanna make some healthy food for my beloved hubby. Now, I'm going to make it for my son too. I'm going to make homemade cook for my family. I had some recipes from internet and some books as my guidance. Hopefully, I can make it...*-*

Fritz's Education
In his first year, I'm going to teach him by myself. A homeschooling, I think. I really need some consistency and responsibility to do to my own child. Patience is the most I really need. I take a Montessori Curriculum and have much fun with him. Hopefully, God gives strength to me...

My biggest dream (maybe not this year)
1. Having a house with a good environment, small but cozy to be lived with a garden inside, so my little family can be played there and do some together activities there..
2. Traveling around...In Jakarta, through cities in Indonesia (Jogja and Bali the most), and going abroad...
3. Having a new small car for my little family.
4. The most dream of mine....saving lots of money, so I can afford it!! ^-^

This was the first time for Fritz celebrating a new year's eve. Even we had celebrated annually but this was so different with Fritz among us.

Last year with my big tummy, we spent our eve in one of our family members. It's quite so boring for a person like me who liked crowd surrounding with lots of friends around. There wasn't any big laughter, silly jokes, or even stupid things done. It's just a family gathering with the oldest did the karaoke thing and the youngest just watched a TV together, hearing the voice came out from the speakers. Then we had dinner together on the floor. (The house didn't unfurnished yet). Quite boring, hah?!

This year, with Fritz, we had to celebrate the moment again at my uncle's house at Intercon. Now, he had furnished it nicely. The members weren't as many as last year. Only few families gathered with simple food for dinner. My aunty (the owner of the house) just prepared fried noodles, broccoli with meat, meatball soup and rujak. My other aunty made a fried meatball with shrimp inside. It became the children fave.

Actually, Fritz has fallen asleep when the time almost arrived. I didn't want to miss the moment. The rest were being in front of the house with lots of people in front of their house too and the fireworks were 'bang' in the air. It was so beautiful...

Luckily, Fritz got up like usual to drink milk, so I carried him to downstairs and joined together with the others.

The fireworks were beautifully in the air, trumpets were everywhere and the new year has arrived!!

New spirit, New resolution, New hopes, New Year everybody.....

The New year's eve wasn't boring anyway with Fritz among us...cheers!

After almost 4 months absence from going to doctor time, today, we had an appointment with the doctor. Fritz was going to have his measles vaccine in Royal Taruma Hospital.

We arrived and the nurses took their job by measuring Fritz. His weight became 9,030 gr, his length became 73cm and his head circumference was 45,5 cm. He didn't seem enjoying it much. He cried along the measuring time. *sigh*

Then we should wait for a long long time....

So many babies and children there and also pregnancy women. Yup, they put all together in one big area for mum and babies. Can you imagine how crowded it was?
Babies were crying and children were running here and there while the pregnancy women just sat down nicely watching them with the men beside them reading newspaper...

Because we should wait for our turn which we didn't know when it was, so I decided to sit down and watched all the things around. Then I saw this little boy. He was so active and my prediction he was the same age as Fritz, 9 month or more. He was able to sit down and crawling around the playing area. Then I remembered one of my hubby's friend's son, Rafael...hihihi.....

At that time, I felt so sad. Why wasn't Fritz able to do that? Why is his ability difference from the others? Why did he able to crawl while my kid didn't?
He was able to do sliding while Fritz wasn't enjoying it much.
I was soooo jealousy with that boy.

Then, I tried to do it with Fritz. I put him on the other side of the slide. I made him to stand up by himself and his hands were putting on one of the step. This was the picture.
He was able to do that for few minutes and he saw the other kid played in front of him.

I asked the boy's mom, correctly, he was the same age as Fritz but he was heavier than Fritz. He was 10 kg...hehehee.....
We put the kids together and you know what, Fritz just watched the boy were playing with the toys. He was so calm and the kid was so active. What a good combination! :(

It was time for our turn, the nurse had just called Fritz's name.
The doctor greeted us warmly. Then she did the injection to Fritz and made him a little crying.
I asked so many questions to her.

1. About his progression and she said that he had 4 teeth and probably he will do rather the oral things first than the gross.
So don't need to worry about that and we just need some stimulation for him such as giving him a walking toy so he can reach it by crawling and showing how to crawl itself when you catch the toy. Don't forget to put him on the mat!

2. About his meal time.
She said Fritz can start 3 times heavy meals now if we wonder with his stagnant weigh. And try not to give him the strain ones. Trying the real cereal slowly...

So, I tried to conclude this.
That kid was so active and he didn't notice what the others do. He enjoys himself.
While Fritz likes to observe what the other else do and he is warm to the others. He tried to touch that kid and that kid didn't want to be touched. See...what a nice boy, Fritz!

That kid wasn't able to communicate, he was just busy with the toys around and felt so happy with those
While Fritz is able to produce some words and recognize the others around.

Haaaa...knowing you have the other sides in you made me feel soooo proud of you as your mom!!

Taman Anggrek
lunch time

Regarding Andre was coming to hometown, Dwarfs have arranged the gathering for her. Then we agreed to meet in Taman Anggrek's Food Court. After a long and tired discussion in Facebook Messenger, Andre would not join with us because of her son' sickness. So only 6 of us would attend the gathering.

I was the first comer with my hubby and Fritz. We took some pictures in the hall. They put some x'mas decoration there.

After waiting for half an hour, Inpuz was coming with silly story. She couldn't take the car key off from the starter, cause it was the first time for her using the automatic car. She asked for help by asking the driver outside her car and calling Emil and Inkris. Then, she knew her silly mistake, she forgot to put the gear on 'Park' position. So no wonder, the key couldn't be taken off.

Then, Emil and Andry were busy with their lunch. After few minutes, Inkris and Mandha were coming. Mandha came with both her parents and Vei2.

I couldn't stay longer with them cause I still had to attend my uncle's house's ceremony. He just moved to his new house. So it was only taken an hour be with them but they still sticked together till afternoon I think.

Even there was some problems with us, but we still kept as friends and faced it as little rocks around us to strength our friendship...nice to see ya, ladies...

Bandung euy....

Together with my whole family (dad-mom-bro and my little Lievell's family), we went to spend our holiday out from town, to get a little fresh air for our lungs....
So we decided, Bandung would be a nice trip in the end of the year.

We went at 6 o'clock in the morning and Fritz was the one who didn't take a bath...hihihi....just wiped his face and dressed up.

The first destination was the church in Lembang, St.Maria de Fatima (if I'm not mistaken...;)).

Thanking for the whole year coming to us and all the blesses we had.

The air was so fresh and breeze...really wanna stay there for the entire of my life...aaaahhhh...

There was a little problem in the way, we didn't know which place we wanted to go. Coz we hadn't have much info bout nice spots in Bandung. So we decided just buy some cookies then we went home.

Another problems appeared, my hubby suddenly forgot the way to Prima Rasa..we lost our way and it took for almost 2 hours to find that place. We just went round and round and asked some people in the street then went round and round again from one street to other streets...and gotcha!!!
Finally, we found it and luckily, it wasn't so crowded so we got lots of cookies there...yippiiiiy...

On the way home, we had little problems again. No air con along the way. In Bandung, coz the air was so breeze, so it was fine we didn't use any air con in the car. Then on the free way, suddenly the heavy rain was falling down. So we need to open the window a little only to avoid the water came inside. Along the way, my hubby (he's the one who drove the car) should wipe the car's front glass coz it was so frosted. He couldn't see the way clearly.

We arrived in the late afternoon and Fritz has nothing to do anymore in the car. He slept already, played in the middle of the seat and drank water and milk already...lost his style!!

Then we were so exhausted when we had traffic jam in Jakarta's free way on Kebon Jeruk. The air was so hot and lots of polution everywhere.

Finally, we arrived at home...

During Christmas holidays, we spent mostly our time in malls. In a week, we'd been going to 3 malls in Jakarta. We purposely went to the malls coz we were going to see the decorations there.

1st mall was Taman Anggrek Mall
They decorated the hall with the tree house full with bears and a shoe house for Santa. It was so crowded. Most of the visitors were children and most of them were busy taking pictures in front of the stages. Every year, they always decorated it creatively and every year too we'd been to TA for taking some pictures.






2nd mall was Pondok Indah Mall

Actually, we were not purposely going to this mall. We just got this idea when we should drop my dad and my bro to take the car in the workshop. So we, three with my mum, decided to go to PIM.

They didn't decorate it with fully x'mas. They had toys fair so they should divide the decorate with toys too. So we took pictures with some toys there.


The other thing was, I found an educative book for chidren. Just pay 175 thousand rupiah a month, they will send a packet of books to my house monthly. Actually it's for a 3 years child but I think it's a good investment for Fritz to learn about reading a book.







3rd mall was Emporium Pluit
We just took pictures with a single X'mas tree and a sleigh without a Santa. That's it...no more..

But, the craziest thing was I decided to buy a new mobile phone, Nokia E71 at that moment. Actually, I had dreamt of it for a few month, but I didn't have any courageous to buy it. I had considered it much, I will get a class in my tution. So, I think I will be capable to pay it for 12 months by my own....*yay*

We met ii Ling2 there, then she fullfilled her promised to buy a froyo for us. So we got it at Red Mango. Fritz also tried it a little. Though it's cold and sour, he tasted it for few spoons with a strange face he showed....hihihihii
