Toddler : 22nd months 1 week

We supposed to be learned about Chinese New Year this week. As the printer has run out the ink, I couldn't print the pics. So we just filled the week by playing and playing. Not so much we did. Here there are:

ABC: coloring Nn

The last day of the week , we did the ABC's coloring. And it's time for letter N. He didn't so into it. I just helped him coloring it.

Math: Sticker #1

After finishing the 1st row of coloring the number 1 to 10, now I'm going to give him some activity according to the numbers. I'll ask him to paste some stickers related to the numbers.

This week, I asked him to paste the sticker number 1.

Tracing Straight Lines

He did the tracing from right to left...and he didn't wanna be helped...boy...boy!!

Practical Life
*Sorting the colors beads*

When doing this, he was able to do the first 2 things. He sorted the blue and yellow, as you saw in the pic. Then he decided to stop and just played along with the beads rather than did the sort. @(@

*Transferring using tweezer*

After he did the sorting, he asked me to get the tweezer for him. Then he continued his activity by doing this such of transferring using a tweezer. What a progress of him, now he is able to use the tweezer correctly though he needs a little bit power when using it. ^^

*Straw in the holes*

Yiheeeeaaa!!

Now he is able to put the straws and the chopsticks in the holes like this....he did all!!

*Dressing Frame: Big Buttons*

I made a dressing frame of big button for his practical life from flannel as it's so expensive one if I buy it from the supplier. When I gave it to him, he was so excited. But he still couldn't do it well by himself. He still needs my help when opening and closing it. Practice will help him be able to do it later! ^^

Learning Toys

*Dough*

Actually I asked him to play with dough, making something fun with it. The result, he chosed to cut the dough using knife. He's so into in cutting. One day he may become a chef...may be.....

*ABC small foam mat*

I really proud of him. In his almost 2 years, he is able to recognize some alphabet. When I gave these letters (a to f), he mostly put the letter by him and just need a little help from me. ^^

Reading

Now he can mention some stuffs in his magazine. Like, what Mickey's wearing on his hat or what Oso's doing or something that enforce his speaking skills.

I really like to have conversation with him now...^^

Maids equal parasite

Maids equal parasite

I'm totally sick with maids nowadays...

I really couldn't put my mind on their minds. What are their hell thinkin' exactly when they have to work?

Just now, I've heard my maid's phone was ringing. Man...in the middle of lately night!!!! Who's the damn call her, huh?? Don't ya have another time to get chit chat, dude???

This afternoon, one of colleagues shared her stories bout her maid. She's an old gorgeous woman that I called her, "Laoshi". She is a Mandarin teacher. She is old but she looks so healthy and fresh.

She told me how she was so desperate looking for a maid who wants to work for her. She has gone to some maid's institution and most of them were sucks.

They ask us to pay lots of money to get a maid and they also trained their maid to be unrespected to us. How? By getting away after 3 months. They are so smart. They give us some reasons to be believed that they'll come back again after that. And we waited...then they'll not coming back again after that.

The impolite things are when we are in the institution to interview them. They ask the simple chores, need to work together with pairs, refused to work alone and it's ok to use cell phone.

When we have to deal with the work we belong, we as an educated people never mention some list to the boss. How come they do to us?

They can't live without phone....they rather resign from their work than have to release their phone. Can't u imagine that? And they did just online with their phone while doing the chores. So many tricks they do to be online.

It's seem that we were being in a difficult position when hiring a maid. We have to deal with their attitude, their untidy working and also their fake face. On the other hand, some people are really need their extinct to help them as they're busy with their works.

For me...I really don't need their extinct near me as they are living as parasite!!

Yellow mellow...

Yellow mellow...
I'm really not in good mood for few days recently. I don't even know what's actually happen to me.

When I watched Toys Stories 3, Ali had bought it for me on Friday, I dropped my tears in the last scenes. As it was the saddest part of the movie when all the toys have to say good bye with Andy.

I just felt that it was very sad when we have to say good bye with someone special. Especially with the one who always be with us for a long long time. I really can't face it if someone close to me will go away forever and I'll never see him or her or them anymore for the rest of my life. I really can't accept the good bye part in my life. Really hard to accept it, though I know I have to!

Then with other things I really can't express too. But right now, I feel so down, sad and sometimes I get angry. Swing mood!!

Children

Children
Actually, I don't wanna compare my kid with other kids out there. But sometimes, I just feel a little bit pity with some of them. They don't feel as lucky as Fritz. They don't have any care or attention from their real parents as they prefer work in the office to take care of their own children by themselves. They are just believe the caring to grandparents, day care, nanny or even maid.

I don't wanna blame anything on this and for any reasons it's so selfish.

The most important thing that all the kids want are just the belonging of their parents, no one else. Why are they so selfish, prefer raise some money than their kids? Actually, I don't wanna judge some parents like that. But the fact, they love their money than their children. And they love being together with their peers than spend a little time for their own kids.

For me, I love to stay at home. And yes, I do have some problems like other parents do. I missed my past time, when I could hang out with friends to the malls or cafes, do some chit chat with friends, buy some "MY" stuffs, go to the cinema just the two of us with my hubby, watch TV till late with loud voice, eat what I wanna eat, don't care about my attitude, and so on. Ooooh I missed it very-very-very much.

And I have to face the reality. I love my kid so I have to release my time, all for him. I have a kid who really needs lots of my attention. He needs me beside him to wipe his tears when he falls down. He needs me to comfort him when he feels scared or may be when he feels happy. And I don't put it really hard. I love being a mom. Really. I love this job more than everything very much.

And if u say that we have plenty of money to afford our daily life...that's totally wrong!! Honestly, I don't have any enough money for our daily life. We lack of money! And of course it's a big problems for me and my hubby as we have a kid to raise up.

I had a good job before I decided to resign from it right after I delivered my baby. I know this was a brave decision of me as my hubby had just resigned too from his work 3 months before it. And till the baby was born, he still hadn't any job, jobless. My will to take care of my baby by myself was hardly accepted by my hubby.

Until now, we are still struggling for money. And I believe, He is never asleep. He knows that I do the right decision. I choose raising up children than money.

I just don't wanna my boy is growing up with someone else. It's not because of putting any trustworthy to someone and it's not for pampering him too. That I just do to make my boy growing up with his perfect and suitable person ever in the world, his MOM! The person who can give him lots of comfy, lots of love and really know him very much from head to toe.

Can other else understand our kid as we do?

I just put on much pity for some kids when they have to be cared by not their parents. If your reasons it's all about money. I'm totally disagree. We can raise lots of money, but we are gonna miss all the moments with them.

When they grow up, times will erase our existent beside him. Our place will be changing with their friends, then his special friends. When they get married, they will stay close with their couple. And we are left behind.

I just wanna stand beside him as long as I can stand for him. And it just takes few years, 7 to 8 years before he will ask us to not hold his hands anymore when he walks.

I love the moments when he calls me "Mama". When he just needs me when he cries. Adores me so much, feeling that I have the biggest fans ever in the world. Holds my hands tightly when he walks.

I love every single of the moments we passed. And one day, I'm gonna miss those very much. I will not regret it at all coz I ever have all those moments in my life. It will be the most precious moment ever!

I just wanna do the best for my boy....everything.....

*Alphabet Puzzle*

He recognizes the letter A, B and C already...and O...as Opa, his fave person in this world!

Physic : Playing with a ball

He loves to play with balls recently.

In the afternoon, when it was raining outside, he asked me to get down this ball. Then, he went here and there, kicking and holding this big beach ball.

That afternoon was full with his laughter, playing the balls with Pop and Uncle..

Miscellaneous
*Tongue Out*

He LOVES to imitate someone or something. This pic shows that he just imitated McQueen when he was winning the race by pulling out his tongue.
*Mr Repairman*

He likes to play with tools. I have a box of small screwdrivers and he sometimes plays with it. He pretends to fix the drawers. I didn't know where he got this idea, but he's so creative, right?

Opa's Sister in law's Birthday

Opa's Sister in law's Birthday

Bogor...

This morning, we went to Bogor for celebrating one of Opa's sister in law's birthday. She is the first in law of Opa, as Opa has lots of in laws.

Opa's mom, or we called her Ma'Oco (great grandma), has 13 children. She is more than 80 years now and she has got Alzheimer right now. She is just remember her last child and she really loves him so much as her little baby. Kinda cute...

Back to the topic...
Opa's first sister in law is, I think, 60 years old now. She has big families too and she invited all of them. Her house was so crowded with families and relatives.

We arrived at almost 1 o'clock in the noon and we were already starving. Not take lots time, we went rush to the food table and took our food.

I, Ali, Fritz and my bro decided to eat our late lunch in the 2nd floor and I found three of our cousins. We had chit chat and asked some news from them. We really had some much fun seeing some relatives and heard news from them.

At 4 o'clock, we decided to go home as it's already afternoon and we were afraid we've got traffic jam in the way.

Before we went to the free way, Opa needed to buy some papayas and guavas. So we went through Surya Kencana street to buy those which the Ngohiang place it takes. We had toge goreng in the car and Ngohiang to bring home as our dinner.

What a really tired day, we had traffic jam in the way home. We arrived at almost 7 PM.

Planning in the new year

Planning in the new year
Here are my 2011 resolutions:

All of my problems in the last year appeared because I never put those into Him. So starting this year, I wanna give all of my problems, surrender to Him. Pray and just let He do the rest!

First of my prayer goes to my beloved hubby. I really-really-really pray this year he's going to have a job again. I'm asking for that this year. *crossmyfingers*

Then, I pray that SHE will announce the good news soon, not more than 6 months from now. *please-please-please*

When he gets a new job,
- I'll be a housewife again *yippiiiie*
- I can be more focus on Fritz's learning and eating
- We can pay our debts and loans
- We can breath! *fiuuuuh*

So from now on, pray is the main important things for me. By praying, hopefully I can put all out from my mind and pass the day lightly.

And the rest of them, I still use the last year planning as it's not working much last year

Toddler : Year End Holiday

Toddler : Year End Holiday

Yaaaay!!!!

We are really enjoying the year end holiday. We didn't do much at home and we spent the days by going out, to the malls and out from the city.

Gramedia, Grand Indonesia

They held 30% discount for all the things. We didn't want to miss it! We went there and tried to get some books. The place was so chaos, the books were everywhere. We couldn't walk without stepping the books. The most was in the children books' area.

I got 4 Barney's books, a Cars book, a bilingual Animals Tales Collection book, 2 Barney's movie and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse's movie.
Pluit Village
Oma wanted to buy some new clothes, we went to Matahari. Fritz got an orange T-shirt.

After that, Fritz was feeling so hungry and he said "mamam" for many times to show that he was so starving.

Finally he got his fried noodle at Mr.Baso restaurant. Looks so amazing that he can show his will now!

When we went home, the wind blew very hard and the r
ain was pouring so heavily after that. What a bad weather it was!

Bogor
We spent one day at Bogor.

We went in the morning to Sentul to find a medical place for Opa at Puncar Mt. It was a rocky road which took more than one hour and more than 30km to reach that place. When we arrived, Opa really couldn't step down.

Actually, for normal people, who can walk steadily, it is a nice place to visit as it is a natural hot water place. We can play with the hot water in the pool that they have made it. It's really like in Ciater, Bandung.

After that, we went forward to Bogor city. We did culinary trip. We had ngohiang for lunch, then we bought asinan, roti unyil and es durian. After that we went to Tajur to see bag factory, SKI. I bought a purple Kipling bag for carrying Fritz's things, cost 130.000 rupiah
.

It's was so tired trip as we were spending lots of time in the car. However, we really had so much fun!

New Year's Eve

After few years, we always spent the eve with friends or relatives's places, this year we have to feel happy spending the eve only at home with Oma, Opa and Uncle.

Fritz was helping to cut some strawberries

with his new T-shirt from Popo

Going to Opa Greg's house

In the last holiday, we spent a day at Opa Greg's house in Citra 5. Together with ii Ling2 and Om Tito, we had lots of chit chat with Pork Siomay in the hands while Fritz and Opa was taking nap together in the separated room.

In the afternoon, the couple took us to a restaurant to have some meals. We had Mie Sop Ayam, e-mie and nasi perang.

playing piano at Opa Greg's house
