Mommy's Class is over!

Mommy's Class is over!
This month is the last month for me teaching in my work. For one and other reasons, they wouldn't want to continue my class.

Though it's made me sad and down, at least I wouldn't need to be afraid about Fritz's meal time that I always on my mind everytime the day of teaching arrived. So, it's time for me to move on and make some schedule for Fritz...meal time and school time...

Bye-bye, class...I missed y'all but I miss my time with my boy!

HS: 4th week

HS: 4th week
The Summary:
This week didn't go smoothly because of one and other reasons that made me feeling so blue.

So, this week, we focused on socialization. We went to the park every morning and played swing there. We met some Grams and Gramps were sunbathing and having chit chat each others. Then we met some little girls too.

Fritz loves to play swing. I also asked him to sit down by himself. He held the chains hard and enjoys his time.

He learned some vocabularies from media. If there's a fish on the TV, he is able to recognize it. And also with other animals...

On Thursday, Fritz met his mate, Nic on her Mom's shop. Though they couldn't play along together like friend, they learned how to share things.

A socialize Week!

Anto - Jeanne's Wedding

Anto - Jeanne's Wedding
24th April 2010
SMESCO Building
7 - 10 PM

We were attending Ali's best friends' wedding. Both of them are my hubby's friends since they were in the university, Anto and Jeanne. Actually, my hubby have met Anto on their high school at Canisius College in Menteng. Then, both of them studied together in the same faculty at Atma Jaya University. Time flies and Anto had to move to Singapore to continue his study as a pilot. Now, he is a pilot for Singapore Airlines.

His wife, Jeanne, is one of my hubby's friend too in one of University's Activities, Atma Jaya Pastoral. They sometimes were hang out together with the other friends. She is so pretty with his white and smooth skin as well as his long and beautiful hair. She looks so adorable and so girly.

Then, both of them, Anto and Jeanne were in relationship for the last 2 years before they are in the altar of the church on April 24th, 2010. They're really an awesome and beautiful bride!

We decided to wear Batiks, with near look the same colors but different motif. As we couldn't find a Batik for 1 year old boy, so Fritz wore his favorites character, Mickey Mouse. He looked so proud with it and he always showed off to Ali's friends that he wore Mr.MM on his body..... :)

We met Ari-Emil-Keiri, Sari, Peggy-Audrey, Davina-Raphael-Dav's Mom, Dian-Alex-Keyla, Felix-Winny, Arief-Yossy, Wendy-Kochin and Jul-Bea.

Happy Wedding for both of you and Congratulation!!!

HS: 3rd week

HS: 3rd week
The summary:
His 3rd week wasn't going smoothly. My Dad had been in the hospital for the 4th times and he just went home on Wednesday.

Tuesday, we spent our day on the hospital. We waited on the child's playroom in the child clinic downstairs. There were few children playing and Fritz was the smallest boy among them. He just played with the house plastic there as it was the only one he could play safely while the rest of children were busy taking over each other with the toys there. I decided to choose the house plastic and he can learn his gross motor skill there. I put him on the bridge so he could walk by holding the side of the bridge. He's a little bit scared to walk though I had cheered him up.

Wednesday, I decided to go around the complex in the afternoon with my brother using his motorcycle. Using his hat and shoes, he stood up in my bro's back and hold his shoulder. He was so excited. We took half an hour going around here and there. He learned his environment.

Friday, I showed some farm animals through my computer. Actually, he had seen those animals yesterday through my mom's laptop. So today, I showed him up again and he looked so enthusiast seeing those animals. Computer can be the other media for a 1 year child though he was busy with the keyboard and mouse and the things around than the pictures itself :)

HS: 2nd week

HS: 2nd week
The summary:
In his 2nd week, he shows lots of progress.

He knows the concept of open and close now. I played this concept during his meal time. We opened and closed his water bottle. He liked it and replied well.

His vocabularies improves fast. He knows some animals now, such as fish, crab, duck, lizard, cat and dog of course. When he saw the picture of crab in the TV, he pointed the crab that he has on his little pillow. He also can point the right object when I asked which one the fish is. For the duck, he flapped like wings when he saw the picture of duck.

For the primary color, he just needs time to recognize it.

This week, I did the practical life also. I started with pouring the water using the jug. I didn't have any jugs, so I did with two glasses and we played it during bathing time. He didn't really like to play with water, so it wasn't really success. The next day, I played with pouring the big things using spoon. I gave him two small plastic bowl with beads and a spoon to play with. He just loved the spoon and tried a little bit playing with it. Needs practice more...

Activities time, I introduced him with crayons and I wasn't in the right time. He almost fell asleep so he was a little bit cranky, so I just tried to recognize him how to do with crayon only. Next day, I've gotten an idea to do in the afternoon suddenly. I wanna make a robot shape. So, I cut some origami paper then introducing Fritz with a glue and how to paste.

On Friday, we went to the supermarket and visit one of my friend that has delivered her baby.

We really enjoyed the time....yihaaaa....

Starbucks' Logo @ SMS

Days are so flat... My Dad is still in hospital since Tuesday. So the rest of family (Ali, Mom and my bro) takes turn to stay in the hospital taking care of him. Then, I & Fritz with maid stay at home.

Today, I supposed to be went to one of my Dwarfz' marriage, Doya Sianturi. Ali has just gone home a little bit late and he should take a rest for a moment. When he woke up, he got fever. We decided not going to Doya's wedding considering of Ali and Fritz too. Fritz also is not in good condition. He still gets coughing and flu.

It's Saturday night and yes I'm so boring stay at home. Luckily, Ali wanted to buy some krupuk and he asked us to go with him. Cool!

Actually, we went nowhere. We just went around Serpong to see how fast they are developing their city. It's really a fascinating town in a small city!

Another fascinating thing is when Fritz saw Starbucks' Logo on the top of Summarecon Mall Serpong as we stopped at the traffic light. He is still remember that logo for a week since one of Dad's friend showed that logo to him after celebrating his birthday. We went to Starbucks to see Dad's friends there. Uncle Felix, one of Dad friends, pointed the logo to Fritz. Unbelievable, he is still memorize it well. What a smart boy I have!

My boy is big now. He is able to recognize familiar things around him and always excited to see it. Tomorrow, we want to show him more animals by going to Oriental Circus at Puri Indah. Hopefully, we can get the ticket easily and learn more about circus. Can't hardly wait to see his face when he sees the new animals in his life!

His animals vocabularies:
- cat (puss...ckckckckck....)
- doggy (he loves the big dog such as Golden Retriever, Labrador, etc)
- lizard (and the song too)
- cow (he can produce the sound of cow....mooooooo)

First day of Homeschooling

First day of Homeschooling
I decided to choose today as the first day of Fritz's Homeschooling day. Though all the preparation is not yet ready, I think I'm ready to go with the simple stuff around.

This morning when Fritz has just waken up, I saw the sun shines brightly and it's a good start to face his first day of his homeschooling. I put on his shoes then we went out to have a walk under the brightly sun. He loves to see cats around, so we found the cat. Luckily, when we just went out the cat was in front of the house. So he started his first walk by catching the cat with his little feet. He was so happy when he could stand near the cat. Then, we saw a baby born was having sunbathing. We went nearby and saw this a little baby. Just took a few minutes chit chatted with the Mom, then Fritz saw another cat and tried to catch it again....

After he took his breakfast and bath, I gave his toys around to be played and turn on music on my DVD player. He knew some songs and clapped his hands when he heard his fave's songs.

Otherwise, the first day was always not going so smooth. As my Dad was not in good condition, so we should take him to the St. Carolus hospital. Fritz was also going with us. So the class was ended in the hospital.

Fritz's 1st Birthday Party

Fritz's 1st Birthday Party
Finally the day comes..

Start with a little busy in the morning. Daddy and Oma were going to Kupo's House at Graha Raya to get the birthday cake. They went at 6 o'clock!

Then another messy thing happened when Popo from Ali's mom side had bought a horse toy for Fritz and no one had able to deliver her to the venue. So Ali decided to pick her and went straight to venue.

All of us arrived at 2.30 PM and prepared all the things for the party. The cake, the goody bags, the coupons for the food ( I had to sign it before for 120 coupons) and all the things round.

The party itself was began at 3.30 PM after half of the guests were coming. Children were sitting in the middle facing to the decoration and the cake. Games, songs, silly jokes and questions were successfully given by the MC to the children. Mostly, the guests were participated in her interactive questions and tried to answer it. The craziest thing happened when she asked the children to get Ali's sandals. All of the children were running toward in a rush to Ali and tried all their best to get it. So funny!!

The place was getting so crowded with all the guests. Then it's time for the celebration. All of the children were singing "Happy B'day" song altogether. Blowing the candle and cutting the cake was the peak of the party. Unfortunately, Fritz fell asleep and both of us did it for him.

Kids got their meal and got back to their parents. After took some rest for a while, MC called them to gather back again in the middle. It was the last session. It's time for distributing the goodies to the kids and saying bye2.

Honestly, we were so exhausted. We greeted the guests, gave the birthday cakes, distribute the coupons, and took some picture with them. Otherwise, we were having so much fun there.

Though it was only a first year celebration. Though Fritz totally didn't realize it was his party. Though some people (maybe) felt jealousy with us. We just a parent who received some gifts from some people caring our boy so much.

Thanks for those who helped us. We couldn't say anything, just lots of thanks and God will repay all your kindness. Thanks to the ones who held this party, baked a cake for Fritz, gave the goodies, made this party so cheerful (MC), and came to this simple party.

Thanks to:

Open House @ Apple Tree

Open House @ Apple Tree

We had attended an Open House at Apple Tree Sunter Branch, my previous job on 20th March. I and my hubby got an opportunity to sell our krupuk there as one of my friends allowed me to put those to be sold.

After I had my private tutor, three of us went in hurry to Sunter. We arrived there almost noon, around 11.30 AM. Then I met some my oldies friends and we had a little chit chat with them.

The exciting things happened when Fritz was having all his shirt wet because of water in the pool. Suddenly when I had a chit chat with one of my friend, Fritz was playing with the water. Usually he refused to play with the cold water. That day, he enjoyed his time playing with the cold water. Maybe it because of the sun shoot so brightly and he felt so hot.....

Another things was he played with the car. I put him inside of the toy car and he really enjoyed though it was so shiny day. He was playing with the car's stir while Daddy controlled the car.
