Field Trip : Kuningan - Bandung

This Ied Mubarak Holiday, we spent our 2 days going out from our hometown to Kuningan and Bandung, West Java. We went with Popo and Zhuk2 Wendy there.

We started the journey at 5.30 in the morning to Pantura way. In the middle our way, we were facing the heavy traffic because of some of the Moslems were finished with their pray and ready to meet the relatives. So we had traffic for few hours and we had to have our lunch on the car. What a bad traffic!

We arrived finally at Cisantana, Kuningan at 3 PM. We wanted to go to Mary Cave there. The real journey was begun. We had to face lots of stone stairs to reach up. And surprisingly Fritz made it ALL by himself. We just assisted him beside. Mostly he went up with Papa as Mama was lost of breath already in the middle of our way. Fiuh.....

After we made up, we amazed with the scene there. It's really beautiful from up there. The wind blew softly and it's quite cool. I really loved this time. We spent few minutes to take silent time for praying to Holy Mary.

Few minutes after that, we're on our way down and again Fritz made us amazed again by stepping down all the stairs by himself. Now, he went down with me. He really showed how excited he was with this holiday.

There's lots of seller down there and we stopped by to eat Fried Banana and Papa with Zhuk2 drank coffee while Popo were busy bargaining some crispy that they sold.

Then, we've got to go to Bandung that night, as we'd rent 2 rooms there{I forgot the hotel name ;P}. And another traffic jam appeared. It took more than 2 hours to get there as there's heavy traffic. So my brother in law decided to get another way through his GPS. Oh my...oh my.....we had to go through the dark-unpavement way where our left and right was jungle, going up and down and passing civilization then no civilization and so on scene. All of us really couldn't sleep, Fritz also woke up, and we couldn't stop to send lots of pray to HIM - to make us get out of this crazy way. And finally we arrived at 12 PM safely and soundly -- errr....I, Fritz and my MIL were sleeping actually :P

Fritz was totally excited to know that we arrived already in Bandung. So after we stayed in our room, he woke up and chose to watch his fave channel, Disney Junior. He waited us until we're done with some stuffs -- bathing and tidying up all the things. FYI, I've got my first period on our morning way. Oh my.....

The next day, my MIL who stayed in the next room with my BIL knocked our door in the middle of morning. It's still 6.30 and she's waken up already. We're still asleep and really needed sleep. She woke us up to get free breakfast from hotel. Then, all of us including Fritz --the excited boy-- had a morning walk around the hotel to see as the breakfast hadn't prepared yet. What a nice hotel we stayed, with lower price but we could get this kind of service.

After we had breakfast, we got back to our room and got prepared before we moved around Bandung as Fritz wanted to do. Then at almost 9 AM we checked out from the hotel and ready to seeing around.

Too bad the traffic to Lembang was heavy so we decided to turn around to another place. We went to Dago Pakar to see the villa that we wanted to rent next on December as Ali's aunty {MIL's eldest sister from Hongkong} wanted to back hometown and needed great vacation with big family. So we really needed big house for that.

Next, after we've done seeing around the house in Dago Pakar, we went to the middle of Bandung city. We wanted to buy cakes and cookies in Prima Rasa or Kartika Sari. As it's still the second day of Ied Mubarak's celebration day, they were still closed. Huhuhuhu.... However the happy thing was my MIL appraised my Brownies as she said that she didn't want to buy any brownies and said that I also could make it and contained lots of choco inside. *blushing*

The traffic was getting stuck during noon so we decided to have lunch in Ma' Uneh Restaurant -- a Sundanese restaurant -- then after that we went back home. Couldn't stand with the traffic jam in Bandung!!

We arrived safely in my MIL house at almost 5 PM. We took more than 2 hours way and I've got a chance to drive through Cipularang High Way as Ali was getting sleepy in straight way. Huh.....me too! ;P

Fritz asked me after MIL and BIL went through the door, "So after this we've back to Bandung, huh, Mama?" "Heh?!?!" --still excited to have a holiday--
