Going to Ancol

Yesterday, we (Pop, Mom and Fritz) really had a great fun day at Ancol. We spent our days on Ocean Dream Samudra. We had the free pass tickets for 2 persons from my work field, Alpha as we wanted to join the end year celebration in Bandar Djakarta.

We went in the morning so we could spend more time there. Pop decided to close his shop. We arrived around 10 AM.

To be honest, we really shocked with the entrance fee price. They ask the visitors to pay 15,000 rupiah for each person and 15,000 rupiah for the cars in the Ancol gate. Then for the Ocean Dream, they ask 70,000 rupiah for each one. It's quite expensive actually as they just perform only 3 shows only. The good news, we don't need to pay for the under 2 years children.

Then, we did a trick. ^^

In the entrance gate, I asked Fritz to breastfeed pretended as he's still under 2 years. Luckily, the man didn't ask more, so Pop just gave the free pass tickets. We passed the gate!! Maybe, the man was feeling shameful to see me breastfeed my boy and he thought that Fritz was still under 2 years as Fritz is having a small appearance.

In the next entrance gate for the Ocean Dream, I went to the ticket booth and I asked Pop to carry Fritz standing far away from the booth. Then, I asked 2 tickets as I pointed to Fritz telling her that he was under 2 years. The girl asked me to measure his height in one board. If his height was under 80 cm, so he didn't need any ticket.

I came back to Pop and asked Fritz to take off his shoes and measured him in the board as I stood back to the booth. Thankfully, the girl didn't pay attention to us. I came back again to the booth and I ordered 2 tickets only. We did it!!!!!

Tralalaaaa.....Trililiiiii.....Hooo....Hooooo.......*celebrating the cheat tricks* #so Indonesiaaaa!!!

We entered the entrance gate with 2 tickets and welcome to the Ocean Dream.....


The first show...

We joined the Various Animals Show. There were Parrots, Chip n Dale, Honey Bear, Ducks and Pinky Hippo.

Parrots were busy with the dancing.

Chip n Dale were so funny with the mini Meatball's Stall.

Honey Bear was silly with his tricycle.

Ducks were looking like ladies in the party *ibu2 kondangan*

and the last the Big Pinky Hippo.

It was busy munching the food. The coach gave it a bunch of "spaghetti" (long beans) and bananas. The commentator was also so funny. He could dub every single acts from the animals.

Fritz didn't enjoy it. He cried and cried as he was in the crowd and busy place as it's a end school year holidays. There's clapping and cheering voice, made him very uncomfortable with it. He asked to go home again and again. I convinced him so many times. Luckily, in the second show, he could enjoy it.

The second show...
We went to the Seal and Dolphin show. Fritz was enjoying his time already. He could sit still from the beginning to the end of the show. He was amazed with the performance of Seal and Dolphins.

The third show...


It was the 4D cinema. Fritz was asking for Dora's show many times. However, we had to face with so many visitors who came to this show. We had to queue in a looooooong queue. It took almost 1 hour to get to the entrance door but the movie was just running for not more than 10 minutes. ~__~"

After that, we took a rest and Pop had his lunch. It's really a hot and sunny day. We were so tired and really needed lots of water.


Actually, I really enjoyed our time spending the trip in the outdoor place. It's good for Fritz to learn many things around him. The most of all, Fritz was soooo happy!!!!
