Pre-Nursery : God's Creation Week

Fritz was currently 27 months

This week, I was lack of printer's ink so I couldn't able to print anything. I chose to do some Math and Practical Life this week. I've got the idea from The Adventure of Bear. She did adorable activities with her 2 kiddos and using Montessori method too. I also chose God's Creation craft for this week, just to let him know more about God.

God's Creation
The 1st day of God's creation.....He'd differentiated the day and the night by giving light in the day and dark in the night. Fritz could differ between the day and the night....

2nd day, God made the sky. I gave him the cotton as the sky and he was eager pasting it. ^^
The 3rd day of God's Creation was He made rivers, seas, trees and flowers. When we did it, he didn't show any interest in doing it. For few times I had to call his name to finish it but he still refused it. *not in the mood*

He really loves the Sun, Moon and Stars. I explained to him the 4th day of God's Creation that He made so many stars and Moon for night and Sun for day.
Day 5th, God made birds and fishes.

He was so eager doing it. He loved the dolphins and asked more and more to paste the dolphin. ^^He also asked for the starfish but I was lack of it.
Day 6th, God made animals. I made him only 5 animals as I was too lazy to find the pictures in the magazines. I made the animals with the construction paper. However, Fritz was enjoying to paste it all. ^^

God took a rest in the day 7th...

Math
*One to one correspondence*

Fritz's practicing his one to one correspondence by putting some buttons on the number flash cards I made. I made some black circles to make him easier to count it. He loved the sensation of putting the buttons on it. Loves to see him doing it!!! ^^

We did it again in the next day.....and thankfully, he's still enthusiast doing it....

*Match the Numbers*

We still played with small foam and it's time for numbers matching. He's expert in matching 1-5!! Yeaaaaayyyyyy!!

Workbook : Concept Big and Small

He showed his bad tempered when I asked him to do his worksheets. He threw the marker to me. Then, I put him in a rush in the corner and I asked him to stand still for two minutes. He almost cried as it's his first real punishment for his bad attitude. He really knew that he's in punishment. He knew that he did something wrong. Then, he said sorry to me and he wanted to do the worksheets given. He did very well and really knew the concept big and small anyway.

What a big boy now he is....he showed his bad attitude now....and he must learn the meaning of punishment for his being bad.

Sensory : Tall to Short
Using the used tissue rolls, I made the similarity of Cylinder Blocks as it's very expensive. I painted them in rainbow colors way, Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Blue-Purple. I supposed to color the tallest with Red but I missed it. Then, I painted it with 3 colors, Black-Grey-White in one. ^^

When I done with the painted, Fritz eagerly tried to sequence it from the tallest to smallest. Then, when I asked it again for the next day, he, of course, refused it...~__~"

Practical Life
*Using Scissors*

He's really trying his best to use his scissors but he couldn't able. I have to give him more on practices.....^^

*Sorting the Buttons*

After we finished with the buttons, I asked him to tidy up those in the right boxes by sorting based on its colors. Firstly, he refused as he's sleepy already. I still insisted him to tidy up and I helped him few. He's got cranky and cried.....in the end, we did it together....^^

*Cloth Pegs*

Finally, he succesfully made it!!

Before, he couldn't able to press the peg with his thumb and pointer. He gave up and refused to do it. I asked him when he's under 2 years and he made improvement. He's now really able doing it without any help from me. Yay!! ^o^

*Buttoning*

He really made an improvement in buttoning. He did all with a little help from me. He knows the concept now.

Cooking : Simply Pizza Bread
Monday morning, I've got an idea to make a pizza from bread. I prepared all the things and together with Fritz we did the pizza bread.

It's very simple....

I just used 2 bread and I cut it diagonally. Then, I spread some tomato sauce on it. I asked Fritz to spread the cheese. He loved to do it. The last step was putting those on the oven. I baked too long, 5 minutes with the medium hot panel. And the result.....there's few area was black....hahahaha.......Fritz loves it so much!! ^^

We made it twice this week....^__*

Books

I just realized that I really had lots of books for Fritz. Then, I decided to put some of those in a basket like this. He really loves to read and I think it's a good idea to put the books near his bed. So, it'll be easier for him to reach and read it. Happy reading, boy!

Learning Toys

Thomas puzzle book
was his birthday present from one of Mom's friends in school. He liked it so much. He again and again tried to make the puzzle inside it though he just made the first puzzle only. hehehehehehe......

I love this activity so much!!!! ^^

I gave this ABC small foam mat to him to let him explore more on letters. I took off the letters every row. So he did it in a row; A-I, J-R and S-Z. Surprisingly, he's able doing all of it with a little help and full of concentration in this activity.

Every time I ask him to thread with this big beads, he always refuses. Then, I tried to make the other style of threading. I made it like sequencing, with chopsticks and used foam from JCo's yogurt place. The fact, he just focused putting the beads inside the chopstick for a while and he enjoyed to pull the chopsticks out from the foam. Gosh!!!

Miscellaneous

Honeydew was a big HIT for this week. He loves this fruit so much. When I asked Pop to finish the honeydew in the fridge, he spontaneously got down from the bed and asked it.

"I want...I want.....honeydew....crunchy....*krek...krek* (the sound of crunchy)"

Then he enjoyed his single honeydew before his sleeping.

Fun
*Kelapa Gading*

Opa had a voucher from Sapo Oriental and we chose Kelapa Gading mall to spend it as there's Cars theme there.

Fritz was going with Opa's as I and Pop had to clean up the apartment. Then, we met in the spot

We enjoyed our dinner there but in fact the dishes were so-so....not really yummy and a little bit tasteless. We were a little bit disappointing actually. -__-

Then, we continued our fun time to explore lots of Cars' things. Fritz was very very happy seeing lots of Cars in his way. The toys, the miniatures and more and more.......

In the end, Pop bought him a bowl and a plate for Fritz, Cars inside those.....*no picture taken*

We really expect a lot that Cars 2 will be in theater. So we can ask Fritz to watch it in a big screen. Hopefully.....

And.....the other wish is....hopefully...one day I can buy an Ipad for Fritz.....*Cross fingers*

*Playing with Rafael*
Love....love...love this time!!

After many times we spent day with Rafael, that day was the greatest fun day of all. I made him sure not to cry, angry or mad when playing with Rafael. Fritz was absolutely waiting for that day, playing in Rafael's home as he knows that Raf has lots of many kinds cars toys.

First time when Fritz had arrived there, he asked for the parking lot cars from ELC. He always remembers it a lot and asks for going to Raf's home for it. He enjoyed his time with this parking lot while Raf had just waken up from taking nap and he refused to play with.

Both were enjoying themselves playing around that house, exploring Raf's toys from cars to Thomas the train. Fritz wasn't so into with Thomas and preferred to play with cars.

Fritz really kept his promises not to cry or mad to Raf even Raf did some bullies to Fritz, such as hitting his head, purposely pushed him and Fritz fell down, pulled Fritz's back shirt twice and the last pinched him. Raf did it behind his mom's back. {hahahahhahaa} Thankfully, Fritz wasn't feeling upset and still enjoying his time with Raf.

In the end, the adults {Mom, Pop and Raf's mom} had a little conversation and it was a happy news for us. ^^
