Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

Facing an Indonesia's Independence Day, I asked Ali n Fritz to go to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah as our field trip. This was one of my project to introduce all about Indonesia besides introducing him another things about Indonesia.

I ever went there when I was in my previous work before, so it's gonna be my guidance.

We started the journey around 8.30 AM. Then, suddenly, Ali said that one of our tire was flatted! I've a little bit disappointed but....ahaaaa!! It's gonna be another lesson for Fritz to know how to patch the tire.

Fritz was really excited showing the man patched his Pop's tire. He couldn't stop looking at him, he looked so curios.

And, the journey was begun....

We had to face the heavy traffic jam to pass the West Jakarta. It took almost an hour and Pop was really bored already. Hihihihii....

We arrived at Taman Mini around 11. We were so amazed that they had successfully built this kind of place where we can find all about Indonesia here in a such big area they have. However, there's really a few people around here. I mean, it's really rare, maybe not more than 100 visitors at that time. In that big place, the situation was so silent with less people around.

First place we visited was Taman Kebudayaan Tionghoa Indonesia. It was a place that we can see all about Chinese things as Indonesia has some Chinese citizen inside.

They are still on doing the projects. So many workers there and we had to face the hot sunlight too. We took some pictures there although the camera was suddenly unfriendly with us.

Then, we moved to Transportation Museum. It's only us, there's no one here. To be honest, I was a little bit afraid with this condition..^^ Thankfully, there's a guard who wanted to guide us to walk around. We took some pictures too there. Fritz was amazed with the real helicopter and trains. He said that's Thomas. Hohohohohoho....^^

It's lunch time and we've got hungry already. Thankfully, I had prepared some lunch and snacks for us. We had our lunch inside the car.

After we finished our lunch, we went to The Freshwater Aquarium. We had to pay for 15,000 rupiahs each person and Fritz wasn't as he's still under 3 years old.

We walk around to see some freshwater fish but Fritz wasn't so enthusiast as before. We took almost an hour there. They provided a free-pass ticket to Insects museum.

Then, we went around again, seeing some traditional house from Indonesia.

We stopped by at Vihara. It's looked so nice but we didn't go inside as we had to take off the shoes.

Actually, I asked Pop to ride the Sky Lift but Fritz already tired and got to sleep already. So, we decided to go home. We had spent more than 5 hours there though there's only few places were opened.

It's very recommended place for kids to visit....^^
