Fritz is getting smart days by days...and he grows so fast...

- He can sit down by himself on 26th January. *yay*

- His appetite was going up and down this month. Few weeks ago, he refused to eat his meal. It's because of his 2 coming teeth and he got flu at the same time. He just loved to eat bread. Then after that, he is getting better. He can finish his meal than I thought. On the other side, he likes to taste our food. If we eat in front of him, sometimes we give him a little to taste it.

- He can recognize some animals, such as dog, cat and lizard. When we ask where the lizard is, he is straight up his head and looking for it. Then, when he sees the lizard, he will tell us that he shows it by pointing his finger though it is a little bit far from his place. With dog and cat, he likes to see both of these animals in the street. He isn't afraid with a big dog. He snaps his finger pretending he calls it.

- Now he has 8 teeth total.

- Since he has accompanied me to my work field, he shows lots improvement. He can crawl on the floor. He learn to socialize with the elders, and it's very helpful for me. He isn't afraid with the strangers and easily to socialize with others now.

- He got his second flu in his 10th month old. It took almost two weeks and ended with medicine. *sigh*

- With a little help, he can stand up by himself.

- Then, he starts walking with our guidance. Now, he likes going up the stairs.

- Music lover. He always moves his body when he hears the (common hear) songs.

- His new hobby: tilted his head, shook his head to the left and right with his funny mimic, throw his body to the back in the bed, put his hands on the air, sit like a Japanese, tickling our belly.

- New ability...drinking with straw on Sunday 21st February, during our visit to one of my friend who had delivery the baby (Alice and Agus - Jovann Dominique Ezekiel)...so happy!!!!

In his 11th month old, his brain is already connected with the order given. He knows where the common things took place, where someone is be, what we ask for him (for this case, when we ask him to pull out his feet if he doesn't sit well)

Fritz is getting smart and learning a lot from his environment. Next month will be his 1st year birthday. I can't wait to teach lots of things to him......

After for months not playing with the rosary, one day he found his fun playing with it again.

Before, he wasn't able to do lots of movements while playing with it. Today, he showed lots of enjoyment.

He pulled it straight...up and down...put it down...took it again after few minutes...pulled to the left...to the right...laid down in the bed...pulled it again tightly...*humph*

Honestly, I'm afraid it will be broken down...It was one of beloved present from my mom's sister in heaven. She bought it in Jerusalem and I loved it so much...

New laptop for Fritz...

I bought it from one of my friend from my previous job in Sunter. She asked me whether I wanna buy it or not.

Honestly, I didn't pay much interest on it. I think it wasn't proper enough for a baby like Fritz. He's too young to understand it.

Then, I decided to buy it because it's cheaper than you buy it from supermarket. And we can learn many things from it. There are alphabet, number, songs, words, and games.

Though Fritz still wasn't able playing with it, when the laptop arrived, he loved to play it. He almost didn't understand the function of itself. That he knew only hearing the melodies and closing it everytime.. -_-

I will keep it for few years later, so he is able to play with it..

One day, it will be useful for my baby...

For almost two weeks Fritz got flu and lost his appetite, finally, he is getting well and eager to grab his food again.

For his flu, I decided not to see the doctor and searched more information on Google. I got some flu medicine though I knew that flu is a virus and no need any medicine to cure it. Still, I bought ALCO syrup for reducing his flu. I just gave him a day only and that was the last day of his flu-day. (I think that was the last day too of his virus staying in his body)

As his flu finally gone with the wind, his appetite is coming back to normal. His body was thinner than the other kids in my thread's friends while the others is going to 9,9 kg and Fritz just staying in 9 kg only..*huhuhu*

Finally, he wants to eat lots now. In the morning, I give oatmeal with grated chicken or meat or fish for his breakfast and the portion is quite lots. For his lunch and dinner, I try to give more soup and grated veggie. It make him easier to swallow it.

Few days ago, I went to a clinic near my house and ask for weighing Fritz. He is 9, 2kg now and he looks more chubby than usual...hopefully he will gain more again....

For his lost his appetite, I found a new way to reduce it.
Here:
1. Hypnotized before going to bed and fall asleep. So during night time, when he wants to sleep, I give some words to him as he drinking breast milk. Touch and cuddle him!
2. I put positive mind in mine that he will eat the food. And if not, I don't wanna be stressed. Just let it flow. Believe that he will pass this era.
3. Less portion but give more than usual. If I feed for three times in a day, so now I give 4 times with less portion than usual. And try to give another carbo, such as avocado, bread, oat, potato, beehoon, or macaroni.
4. I do massage time again.
5. Observation. Why and what..

Hopefully it will be work next time when I should pass this again...

Fritz has new friends to play with in his tub during bathing time...

He got Mr.Turtle, Mr.Froggy, Ms.Duck, Mr.Octopus and Fishy...They can be squeezed and sounded.

From these toys, he learns to know more about the animals which can live in the water and the floating things. He also learns more about grasping and touching the toys animals.

He has so much fun in his tub now!!

It's the 1st Lunar Year for Fritz..

Lunar Eve
For last five years, we almost celebrate the Lunar Eve at home by having dinner together with my family (my dad-mom and bro). This year, we have a new little family member, Fritz. He joined with us in the square-wooden-table using his (temporary) high chair.

Last year with my big tummy, I could eat what I liked to eat. This year, everything has changed. I should hold my Fritzee with one hand and use the other hand to spoon myself.

Anyway, we really had such fun dinner time. We laughed and threw some jokes to be laughed. Everyone was happy, including Fritz with his funny laugh was laughing together with us though (surely) he didn't know what he was laughing at...ha..ha..ha..ha...

The Tiger's Year

Cause this was the first time for me and Fritz, I really got some busy time to prepare all things. I must prepare his meal for lunch and dinner together and his cloths for taking a bath in one of our relatives.

After finishing the preparation things, as our custom, we should do gong xi as a respect to the elder. We give some words to them, hoping this year will be better than last and prosperity, wealth and health always be with us.Then they will give some hong pao to whom not getting married yet after that.

The first place was going to my hubby's place in Pramuka. All of his paternal relatives gather there every year. We stayed there till 1.30 in the afternoon. After we had lunch and chit chat for a while, then we moved to the second place.

Next destination was my relatives. We gathered in Kemayoran, my Popo's house. I always stay there for entire of my Lunar Year until I have my hubby. At last, I have another place to go rather than to stay for hours there without doing anything. Actually, for last few years, the condition is such more fun there. With my growing up cousins, we have lots of chit chat and jokes. Laughter everywhere with them!

Fritz was takin' a bath there. He changed his cheongsam costume with his new red Tigger's shirt. I love this shirt...Looks so RED! (the color is red actually...(",)...)

Then, the 3rd place was my hubby's Popo in Taman Surya Apart, West Jakarta, near my house. We arrived at 5 o'clock and wondered it was so silent. Some relatives went home already and some didn't come yet. Though the apartment was quite small, we had good time there. I always have yummy dinner in this place. She can cook very well and it tastes so delicious (no wonder, she had opened a small restaurant).

Finally our Lunar Day was really over..after ii Ling2 and Uncle Tito went home at 10 o'clock in the night...What a tired-but-happy day! ^0^

And the most...Fritz has lots of hong pao from the elders....*Yay*

The weather is not really friendly nowadays. In a day, we can see heavy rain and feel the hot sun together. It seems like they change their shift as in the supermarket or in the boutiques and they do it in a short time. So many people get sick with this condition. Hot sunny day in the morning, then a few hour we can see a really dark sky and it's going to be a heavy rain with big thunder and lighting. Gee...what a bad weather!!

Besides, I admitted that Fritz was lack of napping time in a day. He must accompany his mom to work and in the work area mostly the students have a coughing and flu together. We have to face it and I thought Fritz has a strong immune to fight with it. With my full day of teaching, no wonder his defense was falling down. He got flu!

I felt so terrible as a mom. His schedule time was so messy. He didn't get good enough sleep in a day and sometimes he just ate only for a few spoon. Then he should stay awake until his mom finished with her job. (He isn't a person who can get easily sleep in every condition, he prefers to stay awake and sleep in his lovely belonging bed).

It's a week since last Monday. He got a little fever and I gave him Tempra twice in a day and night. I wait for the morning sun but I didn't such a lucky person. Mr Sun always hides behind the clouds (like the song we always sing, Fritz). So until now, he still gets flu. I still confuse whether should I bring him to the doctor or not?

That I know flu is a virus and just need a treatment not a medicine to cure it. It's a week, should I worry? God help me to decide...what should I do?

Starting January, I returned back to my previous job as a tutorial teacher in Alpha Education Center. After I took 10th months' postpone taking care of Fritz by myself, I think it's time for me to get back there as a part time teacher.

I asked for just 1 class trial first.
Why? I'm afraid I couldn't concentrate well between teaching and watching Fritz altogether.

18th January...
I drove by myself with Fritz was on his car seat. He sat down nicely and fortunately the traffic wasn't crowded enough. I arrived at BGM (Bukit Golf Mediterania), PIK, only half an hour with a little cranky came out from Fritz.

When the class was begun, supposed to be Fritz with a maid there. The fact, he was crying along. So I decided to put him on the mat and gave him some toys. He just sat down without doing anything and watched me teaching.

Now, the condition was so different. He can play with my both students (Steaven and Alicia) and he can crawl under the table. He also can play together with them after the class.

Fritz learns lots of things from this situation. He learns to socialize with the elders. He learns to share the toys and take turns though he is too small to understand those (I think it's a good start). He also learns English.

Besides, his development improves fast. He can crawl on the floor now. On progress, he starts to stand up by himself..

Everyone loves to play with him and couldn't concentrate well on their papers...though he got flu after that...;(

Confuse..

I'm in a hard decision to choose.

Whatever I choose, it will "hurt" someone and I'm totally in a mess!

Yes it's true that I really need a job for now.
Then I asked to my previous job in the tuitution. They allowed me to bring my Fritz there and they gave me a class which is twice a week in the day. So I acepted in the middle of January.

In the second week of my teaching, the owner (the boss) asked me to replace someone. She has to take care of her mom in the hospital and needs time for it. So, my boss needed someone to attach in the her class. She choosed me.

We're close each other (me & my boss). I've been there for almost 5 years. She really knows my condition. She had helped me in happy and bad condition.

When I was preparing my marriage and really needed some classes to fulfill the payment, she helped me with it. She gave me full time classes.

When I was pregnant and I couldn't drive by myself, she helped me by paying half of my taxi.

When my hubby resigned from his job, she gave some extra classes to him and payed him as same as me.

When I had to deliver my baby, she asked me what still I needed for the baby and she came to the hospital by herself to give it to me.

She called me for help. She asked me to come in Thursday and Friday with 2 classes a day which is 3 hours I should stand by there with my little boy in hand. Actually, I wanted to refuse it. It would be a hectic day I thougt. But I still accepted.

What I thought was happened. The class was so messy. The children were busy with my baby and they didn't wanna study. And I was busy with my cranky baby and angry with the kids of losing the concentration. So tired!!

I think I should reconsider again bout this decision.

The mostly I consider is Fritz. He lost his appetite and he got so tired coz he couldn't sleep well. His day was unscheduled anymore. He got easily cranky. I'm afraid it can affect to his development.

At this moment, I was really so confusing with my decision...
My boss had helped me lots of things and always helps me. Now she really needs me to attach in the class.
On the other side, I must think bout Fritz too

I really got no way out of it...what should I choose??

Actually I had known my choice. I had my decision but it's kinda hard to release it.

I just need lots of pray if she can understand my situation and accept my decision and find the other teacher to replace me.

Please...please...God, please me!
